This museum is the best in the state.giving free access to anyone it's really a fantastic place to go when the weather isn't the best.i highly recommended to bring family or friends to this wonderful museum.if you yar hungry and nice cafe with a view of the most shocking planes in the whole museum.and if you get bored of the planes up can go to the newest hanger where they let you play in a vr game that lets you fly threw space as an astronaut who is trying to get back to his shuffle and it only cost 10$.so if there is a place to take the family I recommended this place to anyone.

Definitely well worth a visit. Although the aircraft are related to military history (unlike the Smithsonian, the only place I'd try to compare), there are some rare gems, especially in the Presidential and Experimental hangar. It is an all day experience and it's free.

Mindblowingly huge is the only way to describe this museum. There are 4 connected hangers containing hundreds of airplanes, some which you can even walk through (Air Force One). See planes from the earliest eras of flight to experimental models and everything in between. Whatever time you're going to budget, you'll need more. I know nothing about airplanes or the Air Force but I had an amazing time learning about the scientific and technological advancements, really impressive to see how far we've come.

I went to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum two summers ago. This was better. Not just the incredible collection of aircraft, but each exhibit provided cool subtext. For example, the WWII area has a life-size diorama showing mannequins dressed as ground crew building a hardened runway. Behind them sits a C-46 with its cargo door open showing a jeep inside. Display panels explain how materials and men were transported across the South Pacific during the war. The USAF has done a great job not just restoring airplanes, but telling the stories of the men who flew them.

The Wright Bros collection was amazing. The WWI aircraft are by far the best I have ever seen. We went on Family Day and there were tons of interactive things like robots that would follow you around.

I will make the trip back someday. One of the volunteers told me they are restoring the Memphis Belle.

It's a must watch for aviation lovers. Huge collection of airplanes right from 1909 when they were invented by Wright brothers. It's a recap of world war I and world war II. It's a must place to visit. Free entry, enough parking.

Hands down the best museum in the country. Staffed by volunteers that are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. An excellent collection of aircraft from the dawn of aviation to the modern day including the newly restored Memphis Belle and several former air force ones. Lots of interactive stations to keep kids big and small entertained.

Well worth the visit. Probably need a few trips to see it all. I was there eith someone who grew up under Soviet domination in Eastern Europe. When we walked through the section on the Berlin Airlift her mouth dropped open. She'd never heard of it.

Great museum, free admission. This takes all day, so plan accordingly. Has the entirety of Air Force history in a massive complex. The museum is a little light on the Cyber realm but they will get the eventually.

First time here and what an experience. Wear comfortable shoes, you walk through 4 hangers. There are some planes that you are able to enter and walkthrough to view the inside. It was amazing to see upclose how big some of these planes are.

The exhibits are very well kept and they have a lot of interesting aircraft that you might not see at the Smithsonian Air and Space museum in DC. Pretty cool to walk through an Air Force One too!

Great place to just go and get lost in aviation and it's history. Also great place to take the kids for an educational and fun experience on a rainy day vs. taking them to a bounce house or arcade.
