Tyler Boye Photography Review

As a bride on a budget, one thing I would definitely not skimp on is your wedding photos! I got so much advice while i was planning my wedding. Suggestions like, " have your guests take pictures with their phones and set up a link", "place Polaroid cameras on the table and create your own album", or my favorite "do you know someone with a good camera?". For one, I wanted my guests to enjoy the day and not feel like they had a job to do. But more importantly, I wanted our day to be captured perfectly and professionally, and not just a giant collection of selfies. Tyler Boye Photography was recommended to me by a co-worker. They have a large selection of photographers and packages and will work with you to fit your budget. Sarah and Ali were our photographers for the day. They were amazing, professional, patient (that day was crazy) and creative. I was most excited to see the photos of the two of us, but to my surprise, it was the candid shots of the guests, dancing, laughing and having a great time at our wedding. That day flew by and I missed so much, but Sarah and Ali were able to capture almost every moment. Highly recommended !!!

Our experience withTyler Boye Photography/Hitched Productions was great from our first meeting, through till we received our photos! Allie and Kat were phenomenal! They had great personalities, made everyone feel comfortable, worked great together, and took some pretty awesome photos! We were so happy with our engagement session, and wedding photos. We could not have dreamed of a better photography team to help us capture our best day ever. From the moment we met Tyler, we clicked. Not only does he take epic photos with the perfect vision for what lighting/shadow/prop will make an amazing picture, but he was personable, cool, and genuinely fun to work with. We got to know him more during our engagement shoot and had the best time then, which set the stage for wedding day when he shot EVERY highlight so beautifully, and we could not be more excited to relive the day over and over with the most perfect photos. Our photographer Eric was nothing short of AMAZING! From the second we met him we felt comfortable and that made our pictures all the more beautiful! He posed us in the most beautiful way and had no problem making us laugh for a genuine smile. He captured our love and our special day better than we could have ever imagined. Our whole experience with Eric and Tyler Boye Photography was easy and enjoyable. They are amazing, our pictures are STUNNING and we couldn't be more grateful.

Worst experience ever!! Let me first say that I did not have Tyler, I had two of their other photographers for engagement shoot and wedding day. We planned a sunset engagement shoot and paid extra for the photographer to travel the distance he had to, he was over an hour late and we missed the lighting we wanted. We did not even get a good enough picture for save the dates. We met with Tyler's wife to discuss what happened and she was an hour late to the meeting. She suggested we not work with them which would leave us without a photographer months before our wedding! We ended up compromising and they did give us an extra hour for the wedding day. We had a few requests for photos for the wedding day and some do's and don'ts for pictures. Most of which we did NOT get. I don't even have a picture with my only sibling (that was in the wedding, by the way). I was hoping for one or two amazing shots that we could frame and did not even get that. I am still so disappointed. One of the only pictures I have with my bridesmaids was a silly one we did for fun. Overall, working with them was extremely unprofessional, disappointing and upsetting. I feel that the photographer for the wedding day did not put any effort in at all! I would not recommend them to anyone nor will I even use them again.

Tyler and Allie were excellent to work with. We aren't the most comfortable people with photographs and they really made it fun and easy. They were troopers dealing with family requests and other small details, especially making sure to get the details that were important to us. Tyler and Allie were on top of everything, worked flawlessly wlth HollyHedge and we're thrilled with the photos. I'd happily recommend Tyler Boye Photography to anybody!

I got married in July of 2018 at Normandy Farm, so I used Tyler Boye Photography because they were on site. The minute my husband and I walked in the door for our appointment, we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. Liz, the sales and marketing manager was absolutely amazing to work with!!! We had Sarah and Simon as our photographers and they were very easy to work with and are great at what they do! My pictures came out perfect, I couldn't be happier with the photographs. I would highly recommend using Tyler Boye Photography!!!

Tyler and his team are top notch from beginning to end and I would highly recommend Tyler Boye photography. I first worked with Tyler as a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding and again as a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and knew immediately when I got engaged that I wanted Tyler for our wedding as well. He is so professional, makes you feel comfortable during shoots, and produces amazing, high quality photos that you will cherish forever. I've been in weddings where the photographer is overly visible, adds stress to the day, or doesn't listen to what the bride and groom want. Tyler is the complete opposite. I realized after the wedding that we were running a bit late getting ready, but I never would have known, as Tyler was so calm and collected and got every shot I had wanted in a quick and efficient manner. My husband didn't want to spend a lot of time after the ceremony taking group shots, so Tyler managed to get every shot we wanted, perfectly captured, in under an hour. For both our engagement shoot and wedding shoot, we had so many fantastic photos to choose from that it was nearly impossible to select a favorite. I would highly recommend Tyler Boye photography for your special day!

We were so honored to have Tyle Boye Photography be a part of our special day. We had the pleasure of working with Sarah on our wedding day. She was incredibly professional and made us feel so unbelievably comfortable in front of the camera. We cannot get over how beautiful our entire wedding album is- start to finish. We are so happy that we decided to work with Tyle Boye Photography. They were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day.

We used Tyler Boye for our photography and were so happy with them. We got married at Normandy Farm so they recommended them as they are located in Normandy Farm. I worked with Liz to get the package that best suited our needs and her and Staci made sure to keep me on schedule throughout the process. They did not pressure me to get or add something that didn't fit our budget or needs. Our photographer, Joe, was so amazing. His energy is so fun and contagious and from the engagement shoot to the wedding day he made us feel so comfortable. We could not be happier with the whole experience and our second shooter on the wedding day, Alex, was so great. The pictures were beautifully edited and although I knew they were going to come out amazing, exceeded our expectations.

My wedding photos and engagement photos are hands down the most beautiful photos I have of myself. I'm not a photogenic person-- I'm not even all that pretty-- but Tyler B made my husband and myself look amazing. He knows the right angles to take photos of you from to really make you shine. He's also a really nice guy and very easy to work with. I've recommended him to friends and all have been very pleased.

Great experience with Tyler, a unique shoot in a dental practice. His attention to detail an ability to find great light and was willing to take our vision and make it even better. He's not cheap but images were quality and got so many good ones, it's hard to choose. Thank you Tyler!!!

Do yourself a favor and book Joe as your wedding photographer. My husband and I are blown away by how he was able to capture the emotions of our special day.

But Joe doesn't work alone -- the amazing team at Tyler Boye was such a pleasure to work with. Everyone we worked with -- Liz, Allie, Staci -- were all super professional and really handled all the details leading up to my wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people.

We chose Tyler to be our wedding photographer after FaceTiming with him and getting the best vibes. Tyler was able to answer all of our concerns like we don t love pictures will this be extremely painful?? Tyler s team made the planning process extremely easy and Staci even made a day of war plan that told us exactly what time we were taking each picture. It was brilliant. She also let me know that I needed to get permits for certain areas in Philadelphia something I wohld have NEVER even thought of. The day of Tyler made us both feel so comfortable and took the most amazing shots again ones that we would never had even thought to ask of. My bridesmaids absolutely loved Tyler s artsy side and wouldn t stop talking about him. When we got our pictures back I cried because I couldn t believe how well the best day of our lives could be captured. I would recommend Tyler a million times over and hope to work with him in the future!

Everyone on the Tyler Boye Photography/ Hitched Productions team is amazing!! My husband and I are over-the-moon-happy with our wedding pictures (shot by Tyler & Iryna)! They made it feel so comfortable and natural to have our pictures taken and perfectly captured all of the love and joy felt on our special day. We had Tyler for our engagement and wedding photos and we absolutely loved him! We truly appreciate the time and effort and lengths he would go to get the perfect photo! Going through our wedding photos for the hundredth time since our wedding on February 16, 2019. Every step from booking through to making a wedding album has been seemless. Iryna and Karin did a fabulous job of capturing the day just as it seemed and did an even better job dealing with some not cooperative family, as well as a bride who is not a huge fan of pictures. I had the BEST experience with Tyler Boye Photography. From the planning to the execution, I could not have asked for more. The studio is extremely welcoming and works with you on a personal basis to really get to know you and your wedding. They work through the entire timeline with you so that you don't miss a beat! ALLIE WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. I love every single photo and she was the best to work with. So personable and really dove into everything I wanted as a bride. Looking back at the photos, I relive the entire day without missing a single second. She was a rockstar and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these guys! Our wedding photographer was Joe and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him (and I wish I could remember our second shooter s name that was with the guys all day-he was awesome too!) Everyone in the wedding party had a blast with our photographers and they made everyone so comfortable. Even our guests are still talking about how awesome they were! Joe really has a way of making each couple s pictures unique we saw plenty of pictures of other couples that he shot at the same venue and we all had different shots. Our pictures came out amazing and we couldn t be happier! From the initial meeting, to follow up emails, up to our wedding day everyone that we worked with in this company was professional and personable.

My fiance and I got married at Normandy Farms and liked the idea of having a photographer familiar with the venue, but they were even better than we imagined! Jessica, Staci, and Allie were all amazing to work with when deciding on what we wanted for our day and creating a well planned day of timeline. They were responsive, easy to talk to, and made rescheduling due to Covid a breeze!! Day of the wedding we couldn't have asked for a better group of photographers than Joe and Alex. They were sweet, and funny, and kept our group together and on schedule, we didn't want them to leave! Our friend even wished she had them for her wedding a year prior. We also booked our DJ, Keenan, with them and couldn't have been happier. He was great to work with, and really took the time to get to know us to make a great playlist meant for us. We're still getting compliments on how great the music was! We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Overall had a fantastic experience with Tyler Boye Photography. Our photographer, Allie, was so friendly and accommodating and really added a creative flair to our wedding shoot. Wrangling large groups of people for photos during the cocktail hour/reception was not easy, but Allie helped get it done and the photos turned out amazing. So happy with the finished product and can't wait to order prints to remind me of that feeling forever!

I found Tyler on Instagram and immediately knew I wanted to work with him for our wedding. He was the first and only photographer we met with. I was a little hesitant at first because I didn't have a referral, but after speaking to a few of his previous clients I knew we were in excellent hands.

His work is absolutely breathtaking and his team is great to work with. Shot lists and timelines were organized well in advance which is what you need on your wedding day. We ended up having to change the plan last minute because of extreme heat, and with that curveball thrown at us he still got the job done with exceptional results! We were able to get through a really long list of family portraits in no time.

Tyler is so passionate about photography and its clear when working with him. He sees a patch of light and gets excited or finds an obscure background that ends up with a mind blowing shot. On the day of our wedding, he got to the venue at 8am to scope out the area for our first look even though we didn't start shooting until 1pm.

He also has a very cool and calm vibe while he's working and that's exactly what you need with you on your wedding day. (Your photographer follows you around ALL day so you want to make sure its a good personality fit.) Tyler also gives very clear direction so you know how to pose for specific shots which again makes for beautiful results. We were lucky enough to do a styled engagement shoot with Tyler and that was very helpful for us to get comfortable with him as well. (I highly recommend doing an engagement shoot!)

I really don't have all the words to explain how much I love the photos we took. Each image is more gorgeous than the one that came before. We just got our gallery back and I'm going to have a very hard time choosing which photos to include in our album. We've received SO many compliments from friends and family about our photos. We're beyond pleased with the results and would recommend Tyler and his team to anyone who needs photography for a special event.

6/24/2016 = I m VERY picky when it comes to photographs. The composition, lighting, and style needed to be top notch or I was going to be an unhappy bride. Tyler Boye Photography, recommended to us by our venue, did not disappoint. When we first met with them, they went over all of the package options, available photographers (there are a number of them who work for the studio), and costs. The various office managers/coordinators (Jamie Engelke, Staci Addison, Allie Wynands, & Stephanie Boye) were great helpful and quick to get back to you about any questions or concerns. For us, one of the additional pros of going with Tyler Boye Photography was that their studio is located at Normandy Farm (our venue) and they were already familiar with the space in terms of lighting, etc. After the meeting, we spent a good deal of time looking over each available photographer s portfolio as well as the many photo blog posts on Tyler Boye s website. We decided to go with Hieu (Hugh) Pham. His photos were excellent and there was a relaxed, comfortable quality to them, even with the posed photos. It s easy to see why that was the case. Hieu was fantastic to work with fun, personable, and professional. He really understands the balance between being a part of everything, joking and laughing with you, and fading into the background of what s going on, all the time capturing the special moments as they happened. He really went above and beyond too, meeting with us ahead of time and staying later than planned just to capture a spontaneous extended full family photo. We were also lucky enough to get Simon as our second shooter for the day. Like Hieu, Simon was fun, easy to work with, and captured a lot of really great moments. We just received our photos, edited and cleaned, from the studio, and we are thrilled. All of our photo list requests are there, and there are so many more amazing photos, posed and candid, that truly capture our day. Tyler Boye Photography is worth every penny.

Our experience working with Tyler Boye and his team was nothing short of incredible!! As soon as I came across Tyler Boye Photography in my search for a wedding photographer I knew I had to have him! His staff did an amazing job throughout the entire planning process. The "hot sheet" they provide you with for the wedding day is extremely helpful. Tyler and Allie made my husband and I, along with our entire bridal party feel so at ease the entire day. They made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera! Tyler rearranged an entire living room to get the perfect pictures of me getting ready. The entire experience was amazing!

Alex was the best photographer! He really made us feel comfortable and the pictures came out amazing! We had to upgrade our album to have more pages because the pictures were so good! The whole team was just so nice and so accommodating and answer very quickly which is ideal when your the bride and planning everything! I would definitely recommend this team to anyone getting married!
