Two Men and a Truck Reviews

On October 5, 2018, we arrived at the Keystone location of Two Men and a Truck with a box of my mom's Fostoria crystal, and with my mom's vintage hats. We knew that 2Men+Truck know how to pack things safely because several years ago they had packed some things for us. Zach and Jesse came over to help us this time, and they did a terrific job. They were funny, and thorough, and careful. They handled the crystal with great care, and were very interested in the J.W. Knapp box that my mom's hats were in. That box, too, was carefully packed. Ordinarily, people do not show up at this location with possessions in tow, asking for someone to pack their stuff. We are very grateful that Jesse and Zach were there to help us, and we appreciate their skill very much. Though the boxes arrived from FedEx in less than stellar condition, nothing was broken inside, and the hats were not crushed. So, Team 2MenTruck, thank you for a job very well done!

From booking to moving, everything was great. Had what they call an "internal" move.
Needed some very heavy items moved out of my basement which required removing the door, and carrying up a narrow stairwell. Professional, personable, efficient. Not a scratch! Will use them again.

The guys they sent were efficient, organized and quick, they were also careful with my brothers property. Thanks again for the good job!

Two Men and a Truck staff are wonderful. We had to move heavy furniture into our garage for a week to install new flooring. The first team of movers were professional and friendly. Then, we were supposed to have the furniture moved back in the next Saturday. No one showed up, so we called. The person said we weren't on the schedule and wondered if we could wait until Monday. He said he'd give us a discount. We were fine with that. The team that came on Monday were also professional and friendly. They did exactly as we asked and were efficient getting all the pieces back into the house.

Two Men and a Truck provided amazing customer service. When I had an emergency come up last minute that affected my move date, they made adjustments to accommodate the changes. They were friendly and cooperative throughout the entire process!

Using Two Men and a Truck was the best decision we made. Efficient , friendly and stress free!

Great moving company. Had a piano I needed moved from a friend's house to mine and they gave me the best price and came out when they said they would and did a great job. Fast, friendly and affordable.

I left my deceased mom's wedding ring loose in a drawer... Stupid I know... And they carefully packed it as well as my other jewelry and moved it. I would have been heartbroken if that ring had been lost. I am so grateful to them. In addition, they were kind and did a fantastic job with everything. Will for sure recommend them to everyone. My move couldn't have been easier.

These 3 young men- Neil, Carter and John were the best! Fast, efficient, helpful and personable. Everything arrived safely and no damage to walls during their many trips to the basement with a tricky turn. Their smiles and helpful attitude made them the perfect reps for the company. Can't say enough good things about this company.

I am beyond disappointed in my experience with this company. I had used them on my previous move, 3 years ago, and that was a totally night and day experience. Those movers were polite, organized and worked as a team and worked SMART. These guys this time worked dumb. They were doing stuff the hardest possible way and made things WAY harder on themselves than they needed to be. We did find out that the company recently underwent new management in the last 3 years, so perhaps that is a huge reason for the discrepancies with our experience.
However, I would NEVER use this company again, nor will I ever recommend them again. If anything, I will save my pictures and show them to whoever says they are considering using them. I am just appalled at the unprofessionalism and blatant disregard for customer service and customer satisfaction that this company has. I am so beyond words and absolutely livid by this whole experience. I will NEVER recommend this business to anyone ever again. And I will do everything in my power to deter people from utilizing your company.

The team of movers was super professional, polite and friendly. I was kept appraised of everything they were doing . They made moving very stress free.

Two men and a Truck is fantastic moving company. I had three guys on my move. They were all respectful, friendly and listened to my moving needs. Most of my items are antiques and they were very gentle with them. I would and do recommend Two Guys and a Truck for ANY moving needs!! Thanks Guys!!

I want to personally thank my team of movers. Adriana and Korey!!! They were prompt, extremely friendly and helpful. This move was one of my best moving experiences!

The movers are ok. But pay attention to your credit card for duplicated charges. When I first ordered the service, the customer service told me they only need my card number and won't charge it. The movers charged me in person at the job. After a few days, my credit card was charge one more time. I am lucky I checked my cc statement this time(which I usually don't). Otherwise this will be buried.

Wow what a rip off .... two men cane only one worked ... took 2.5 hours to load the truck and 8.5 to unload it with only one guy working ... they straight up robbed me ... there is a hold in my wall now also !!! Do not use this company they are gouging people during the quarantine and they should be sued !!! I am making complaints to the bbb and will repost this everywhere untill this has been corrected !!! Shame on you !!!

Their team showed up on time and moved an entire law office in less than 2 hours. Very careful of precious items and easy to work with. THANK YOU.

Showed up on time, worked non stop all day. We did not have one item damaged! The four guys worked hard and efficient, very thought full and a well trained group. Our family has used Two Men & a Truck on 5-6 major to minor moves. My business used them to move our office as well. ONLY moving company to use..........the best in the business!

Should be called Two Gentleman and a Truck. Each item was handled with care, they were efficient through out the process, and were complete gentleman during a very stressful time. Highly recommend them.

Two Men and a Truck are quick, efficient, and extremely careful with belongings. I have used their services 4 times and highly recommend them for moving or to just rearrange your furniture.

They were fantastic! Did a move in between states, and they set everything up, were on time, and did incredibly efficient and careful work.

I was very impressed by the whole experience. I have moved several times before and always had family and friends to help out. This time everybody either had to work or had injuries or gotten too old to manhandle my China hutch and couch. I have seen advertisements for your company and seen the trucks all over town and decided to check you out. I called to check price and availability and they both worked for me. On moving day these two very nice guys showed up and introduced themselves and asked to see what we were dealing with. We walked thru the house and I showed them the pieces to be moved and I asked them if there was any preparation I should do before we begin or anything I could do while they moved other things and they said "no...they would blanket things and wrap them". So they got to work and in no time they were ready to go to the "New House". We drove over and opened up the house and the moving in went as smoothly as the moving out. I just directed them as to what room things went into and they put everything in it's place. I am very please the way everything went and I would definitely call if I were moving again. And if someone asked about moving help I would definitely refer them to.....2 Men and a Truck. Thank you Austin and Marshon for making this the best move yet.

2 Men and a Truck.. They are the "A" Team for moving. Fast, courteous and caring, they got our move job in a timely fashion !

We utilized two men (really three) and a truck to move furniture, seal up a few boxes and move all of it to Volunteers of America in Lansing. We were extremely impressed with the level of detail to the items that were to be moved and the preparation of the items. They were wrapped and secured within the truck. The three men we had on 7-1-19 were James Clemons along with Anthony and Eric. They were fantastic from arriving on time, to quickly and effortlessly handling what we asked. They were up and down a flight of stairs and in and out of multiple rooms with very small entryways and hallways. We appreciate all that they have done for us from pickup to delivery. They were EXCEPTIONAL. I would recommend this team to anyone in the Lansing area. Thank you men for all your time and muscle.

I have always used Two Men & A Truck. They are responsible, reliable and extremely hard-working. I also appreciate that they are a local company. Thank you for your help during my recent move!

I had Two Men & Truck move my items to their storage warehouse for a month and then to my new home. I had a few items broken. They did fix or replace most of them. But at this point I can't trust them with my items. I've used other movers in the past and all of my items managed to make it to my new place unharmed. I also had a difficult time getting information pre-move from the office as people would say they would call me and never would. Communication is a problem. I will say the two guys who brought my stuff to my new home were awesome. They were very polite and running to get loads. I was very impressed with them, but not enough to trust Two Men again.

We have used Two Men and a Truck for our last three moves. They have been professional, fast, and through every time. There is so much to do when moving, but I know I can count on Two Men and a Truck to get the job done so I can worry about the other million details.

They rejected my request because they would not load into an rented truck (Penske) due to liability issue. Ridiculous! I am moving my edlerly father to another state. It would also be nice if you told me this before spending 15 min taking my email, address, and source etc etc. Call Kingsley moving Systems for full service.

This company was very helpful on the phone when I first called, the moving team called when they left the office and then showed up on time and ready to work. They were professional and attentive to our belongings.

I keep finding things you broke. Never again. And the movers complained about the pizza I bought them.

The worst experience I have ever had moving. I was misquoted the price of the move even though I had specifically asked for a quote for a certain rate. Furthermore I was guaranteed a one day move, and they did not complete my move in one day. We were told that our belongings would be stored inside the truck which would be parked in a warehouse only to find out that the trucks are parked outside. Had I been told that there was a possibility that my move would have taken more than a day I would not have used this company for my move. I would have rented a uhaul instead. The staff at this location is unhelpful and uncooperative. The price changed 4 times in one day and wound up being almost twice what I was originally quoted. Then they damaged so many items, but will not replace them. This company does not know how to treat a customer or take care of items. They are impossible to work with.

I hate you. As a result of what this company put me through i have told all my friends and family to never use two men and a truck. The people at the office had a complete and total disregard for the problem that the movers created. I sincerely hope misfortune and hardships for the company and all its employees. Every time i see a truck i get filled with rage and have flashbacks about how disrespectful i was treated. If you work for this company and, you are reading this find a new job you can do better.

What a great group to work with in Lansing, Michigan! As an out-of-state parent with a child at MSU, these guys made moving my son out of his apartment SO easy! I highly recommend you give them a call!

Two Men and a Truck did a great job moving us on June 21st. They were fast and efficient, but not careless with our things. The three crew members that completed our move were polite and friendly, and took very good care of us.

The office was always understanding while trying to pinpoint an accurate move-date. The men arrived on time, was kind, moved quickly, and did everything asked of them. They were careful of belongings and very professional. My husband and I couldn't have done it without them! Forever grateful for their service.

We used Two Men and a Truck to move our business office to a new location. From the time I contacted TMT about the move they were amazing to work with. Leah was very helpful and answered all of my questions.
The moving team that we had were extremely helpful. Each person that were on the moving team were very polite, made sure we knew each of their names.

I wish I could give 10 stars! The rates are reasonable and worth every single penny! The guys we had worked so fast and hard yet we re very gentle with our items. It was so hot yet they had some of the best attitudes and customer service I have seen! Mileke, Cameron, and Michael are top notch and I cannot thank them enough. Start to finish perfection.

This company has provided a tremendous amount of support by helping my college student get packed up for the summer on short notice due to the pandemic. Could never had accomplished the move to storage without their impressive speed, organization, patience, strength, and intelligence. They're everything you could wish for in a company within their industry. We're now relying on them for the next 3 years and thankful for their help.

Our movers were very proficient, and polite. They used care to wrap our furniture and move it out of our old house. They also were careful when moving our furniture into our new home, making sure woodwork, doors etc. were not nicked. Beds were assembled, and furniture was placed where we asked for it to be placed, even when we changed our minds a few times. A professional group who presented well!

Don t ever use Two Men and a Truck in Lansing, Michigan. I had Two Men and a Truck in Lansing Michigan move the contents out of my home and into a indoor, climate controlled storage facility. When I went to have my items moved out of the storage facility a year later, there were many things broken, scratched and just overall damaged. They stacked metal on wood, laid a baby grand piano on the cement floor and scratched it, stacked metal pieces on my refrigerator and washing machines. There were over 75 glasses, dishes broken, along with picture frames and other items. The moving company that moved my items out of the storage unit said it was the worst packing job they have seen in over 20 years of moving. I contacted Two Men and a Truck in the Lansing location that I used and they basically had me jump through some hoops and have not returned my latest emails or calls, even after I initially brought in photos of the horrible pack job and damaged items. The girl I showed them to agreed with me that it was a horrible job and couldn t believe it herself? This was, by far, the worst experience I have had with a company that I can remember. I will never use Two Men and a Truck again and I advise anyone to not use them. Their customer service and moving services are horrible! Made arrangements on short notice....very accommodating. My crew was courteous and conscientious. Nice job with the move.

Great job! Flexible on scheduling, I had to move the original date. Crew was careful and energetic and worked quickly and hard. Team leader advised me that I wouldn't be charged for downtime do to the lack of stair runners when they arrived. What could be sterssful was made comfortable and I would call on them again.

They were great; best thing I could add was it was fun.

Two Men and a Truck help me coordinate a very quick move. The movers were great.

When the movers came, they were extremely professional, clean & courteous. HOWEVER, the problem I had was when I called and scheduled the move, I was NOT PUT on the schedule. When I called to ask where the movers were on the day of move, an hour and a half after their window, that is when I found out.
As it turns out, I was able to take ANOTHER day off work to get the move done before I had to close on the house that same day.
Again, I would like to compliment the gentleman that came for the move.

We have moved several times and have used various moving companies. This move was one of the most anxiety-free moves that we've made. The customer service was extraordinary, and the two movers were exceptionally professional and hard working. If in our new location (we're no longer in Michigan) we need to move again, we will call Two Men and a Truck first. Readers in the Lansing, MI, area who need to move would do well to call this company first, as well.

Nothing good to say at all. Probably the worst experience Ive ever had with a company. They have no regard for the customer. I say this after always being very happy but with other locations. Never used lansing before and it was God awful.

The move went off without a hitch. It couldn't have gone smoother. The crew arrived 10 minutes early & had everything loaded in just an hour. The move was abour 190 miles & their truck pulled in within 7 minutes of our cars. I can't speak enough about the greaat service from the guys. They were careful & all of our furniture arrived without a scratch. Great service & great Company to do business. We will certainly use them in the future.

The only fault with my entire experience with Two Men and a Truck is the survey you ask me to complete. There are not enough stars to amply describe my experience, The two gentlemen that came out were in my opinion beyond OUTSTANDING!!!!!! In other words I was extremely pleased with Two Men and a Truck.

The movers did all that they could to make our move as easy as possible. They also took precautions to make sure our items were shipped safely. We could not ask for more and will use Two Men and a Truck if needed again.

Every person at Two Men and a Truck with whom I interacted during my move was great. From the owner to the people in billing to the movers to other people I just happened to see at the offices, everyone was polite, friendly, and professional. I'm sure that their lives are as complicated as anyone's, but they sure don't bring their problems to work. Moving is stressful and it was difficult for me to leave my possessions in storage, but I'm confident that my stuff is safe with Two Men. This company has given me every reason to trust them. My only beef is with their storage system. Nobody explained to me the size of the storage crates nor the fact that I'll have to give at least 24 hours notice to get access to my belongings. I thought the storage site was the same as the office site. This could be because I misunderstood what I was told about storage or that by the time the packers/movers had loaded the truck, I was totally consumed with the conclusion that I am a hoarder in desperate need of professional help. Either way, I was bummed to learn that my stuff would be boxed and hauled away. This is a relatively minor concern.

Appreciate Two Men & A Truck's 2-hour arrival windows (vs. others' typical 4-hr. or 1/2 day estimates), their courteous, knowledgeable staff -&- professional communications both when making the reservation and during the move.
