I thoroughly enjoyed my wine tasting session. The staff were polite and knowledgeable and even though I was limited to how much I could take back to the UK they provided me with details as to how to purchase Two Hands wine back home.
Incredible cellar door experience, amazing staff and some of SA's best wines.
What a great winery so lovely and peaceful.. so beautiful... And thank you Mason!! You are amazing and know what your talking about would pay for wine from you any day...
Lovely cellar door, loved the wine and the staff were friendly and fun and have good insights into the wine and different levels, relaxing on the balcony outside under umbrellas for tasting was a highlight of our trip
I really liked the wine. Mindy and her twin sister Samantha were very informative and fun!
My best wine tasting experience in Barossa, friendly staff, very good range of wines to try, and very nice atmosphere. Daisey and Saffy, two beautiful dogs at the cellar door, added to the joy of visiting Two Hands :)
Incompetent service. The fixed tasting menu is not helpful - tasted 7 wines and did not like any of them. When I opened the glass that came with the tasting fee, it was chipped.
Best winery of the day on our recent tour of the Barossa, the cellar door staff were great with sharing information and making our experience great.
Amazing wine tasting experience for beginners. Jess was a fabalous host!
Such a lovely winery and an amazing selection of varying varietals! The hostess was very accommodating with fantastic relevant stories of even the foundation of the Barossa Valley! Had a fantastic tasting experience from start to finish! Everything that I tried was delicious and the atmosphere/surroundings was pleasantly quaint! Definitely lives up to the renown of Barossa! You will have a fantastic experience with your friends and family!
The Gentleman that hosted our wine tasting is very professional, passionate and knowledgeable about the the wines he's selling. Which made it a great experience. Do not think he was too pushy nor trying to sell you a wine you would not want. Helpful and explains what his vineyard has to offer. Great wine tasting
Call out to Mason and Harriet for an unforgettable single vineyard experience - the two of them hosted a group of seven mates - brilliant day exploring Two Hands s wonderful vineyard and wines. Thanks so much for the memories.
We absolutely loved the tasting and such a good variety for only $10pp. Gnarley Dudes has always been a favorite of ours and we managed to score some of the last 2013 vintage as well as a rose and a muscat. Hostess was amazing and was able to hold a casual conversation as well as was very knowledgeable in answering any questions we had! We will be back!
Fantastic big reds in a lovely setting with Rhodesian Ridgebacks as wine dogs? Yes please.
Love is winery Shiraz this bottle of a certain age Wine whether the share? I really like the Shiraz of the winery. Should this bottle of wine of a certain age be shared?
What a stunning, contemporary cellar door hosted within a colonial, turn of the century cottage - beautiful! We had a great time as a group of high school mates, catching up over some wine samplings. The host was kind, knowledgeable and politely put up with our nonsense - thanks for the great afternoon.
Thanks Harriet for a great experience, we really appreciated your hospitality and highly reccomend checking out this very special winery. Thanks Tash and Randy
Very enthusiastic and professional wine tasting environment. I will kindly introduce the characteristics and differences of each wine. I just met a Chinese commentator and was also very kind! !! !! !!
Great place, great wines. Was lovely.. The 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks were very sweet as well.
Not as fantastic as we remembered it. Maybe we missed the acorn fed Jamon! Wine is usual, big, high quality Barossa fare.
Small and very personal service, focusing on the wine and experience. Not a lunch destination but a beautiful location to relax and indulge in products made with a real passion.
We were in the cellar door today and Mason really knew his wines, a great experience with a really knowledgeable and clearly passionate guide to help us buy a few reds. Thanks Mason!
Excellent wines. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Will be back...
Beautiful grounds, gorgeous wine and extremely hospitable hostess, even with two hot and tired pre-schoolers.
Went to Two Hands winery for a tasting 2 days ago. The staff were so friendly and answered all our questions despite it being very busy. I highly recommend visiting. Shiraz was top notch!
We had a really great time at 2 hands! Sonya was really friendly and very knowledgeable about their wines and the areas in South Australia. We sat outside and had our tasting on the deck. They have fantastic wines that are of great quality. I would recommend stopping in for a taste.
Absolutely lovely wine, and Priscilla was so cute! Thank you
What a lovely surprise our experience was at Two Hands winery. We were looked after by Harriet who was both interesting and interested, not an easy combination often to get right. What we thought would be a 20 min visit turned into an hour. We had one of the loveliest wine experiences & we have visited many. Thanks Harriet.
The tasting offering here is well presented and atmosphere here is great, with the friendly staff here you are always made to feel welcome. The setting and back deck is amazing on top of all that the wines are great. David has been the standout staffer for us!
A clear standout in the Barossa. Great cellar door, setting and staff. Thanks to Mason for taking us through the current tasting menu
Great experience and best flight. Loved their wines
One of the best tasting I have been to. The wines are top notch. If you are into great reds then this place is for you. Thanks to Mason.
Very disappointed turned away with six people leaving. ..
We chose this winery of the last leg of our Barossa tour. It was my wife and myself. We had heard great things about this winery and cellar door and heard that their wines were amazing. Yes their wines were tasty but as a couple we were sat in a corner on two arm chairs for our tasting as there were other groups at the cellar bench. When you come in for a wine tasting you don't expect to be shoved in the corner, you want the full experience by being served your tasting at the counter. During our wine tasting it felt as though it was scripted. What to say and when to say it. Felt very commercial and salesman like, a not homely and family like. We had one wine left to taste and what made things really awkward and uncomfortable was when our server pulled a chair over to us and put pressure on us on what to buy and to join their wine club. We were very intimidated. As massive wine lovers this is an experience that we will remember for all the wrong reasons. And a $10 tasting fee.....come on..... another reason to force me to buy a bottle to get a free glass.... The only good things were the two ridgeback dogs and the labels on the flagship range... Leaving with the pressure to buy a bottle was less than desirable....felt like we were buying a car rather than tasting wine... Won't be back in a hurry.
Really good experience. The wines we tasted where really good and Daniel was very knowledgable and had some interesting stories behind about how the vineyard came to be. I would recommend Two Hands to anyone.
Setting was great but service left something to be desired. Took longer than anticipated to get through a tasting. Based upon other wineries and tastings in the region, feel that the wines here are overpriced relative to comparable quality elsewhere. But, great patio and dog friendly.
Visited earlierv this year, waltzed in right near closing time but the staff were more than happy to dirty a few more glasses. Left with a good drop at a good price. Lovely setting on the side of the hill, was a warm day so accidentally drank a nice chilled moscsto which is out of character for me so it must have been good. Worth taking the time to visit.
Excellent experience. Thanks to barossa light cab for recommend.
Our experience at Two Hands Winery was amazing. From the moment we walked in the door until we left we were made to feel welcome . Mason was our guy explaining the wines we tasted and he definately knew his stuff. He was awesome. The wines were just beautiful. I would definitely recommend a visit and tasting.
Mason gave us a legendary tasting!! So much good information and passion! Two Hands is "hands" down one of the best in Barossa!
Great little spot, much more peaceful than the larger wineries around this area! We did a tasting which was fantastic, & the guide did a brief history of the winery and the names of each of the different wines. Highly recommend to anyone trying to decide which wineries to go to!
Two Hands Wine is highly recommended. Met Harriett. And she was a delightful and insightful wine guide. We had the loveliest time sitting outside with vineyard views whilst sipping the most beautiful wines. There were puppies, adorable bikes with baskets and Matthew, who was kind enough to point us to the cute bathrooms.
Such a great experience - Harriet at the cellar door made us feel very comfortable, she was extremely knowledgeable, down to earth and helped to make it one of the highlights of our trip!!
What a wonderful tasting experience! Mason was extremely knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to have a chat with on our lazy afternoon. What a beautiful cellar door. Highly recommend checking out Two Hands.
Mason looked after us today and did not disappoint. Their wines need no introduction but the personal touch provided makes everything taste better. I'd have loved to pet the dogs again but alas not possible. The wines are pretty much as good as it gets in the Barossa. It's our must do each year we come.
Top Notch - The Gnarly Dudes Shiraz is the best I have tasted in a long time.
Love the wine. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Be aware there's a tasting charge here though. Worth it, in my opinion.
Great service at the cellar door! Great wines, definitely worth the stop to see everyone
Two hands has a very friendly sit down vibe. Wines are not bad but nothing special amongst all the Barossa has to offer. Tasting fee is not deductible when buying bottles but comes with a branded wine glass.
I really like Two Hands wines and you should swing by to enjoy the hospitality and warm welcome :)
Excellent wine and excellent winery. recommend sitting out on the back deck for some tasting.
Loved the experience. The young Asian lady very knowledgeable and welcoming. Excellent wines
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. They have excellent wines, very friendly and welcoming staff, and a beautiful venue. They explained a lot about different wines and were very helpful.
With the quality of wines and service we received, I would recommend this place to any red drinker.
One of the best tasting experiences I ve ever had. Amy was passionate and knowledgeable about each of the wine that she presented to us, it was a comprehensive and enjoyable experience. She s a real asset to the cellar door. Wines were fantastic, we loved the Chardonnay When Hell Freezes Over and how the wines are named with the stories behind them.
I was a non drinker visiting with friends who were more interested in chatting with each other during the tasting, than listening to the guy in the cellar door drone on about how his wine was made. Instead of letting we customers talk among ourselves, he got stroppy, said my friends were drunk and told us to leave. Basically he was a self centered liar who spoiled our day. We went to Seppeltsfield instead and informed the people there why we had been kicked out of Two Hands. They made an assessment of us and said we were obviously fine. Tasted some wine and cordial, bought a few bottles to take home for our next dinner party, and enjoyed the wonderful surroundings (while chatting to each other without judgment). My advice, go to a winery where the people aren't up themselves, or make sure you pay attention during the lecture.
