We chose this winery of the last leg of our Baross...

We chose this winery of the last leg of our Barossa tour. It was my wife and myself. We had heard great things about this winery and cellar door and heard that their wines were amazing. Yes their wines were tasty but as a couple we were sat in a corner on two arm chairs for our tasting as there were other groups at the cellar bench. When you come in for a wine tasting you don't expect to be shoved in the corner, you want the full experience by being served your tasting at the counter. During our wine tasting it felt as though it was scripted. What to say and when to say it. Felt very commercial and salesman like, a not homely and family like. We had one wine left to taste and what made things really awkward and uncomfortable was when our server pulled a chair over to us and put pressure on us on what to buy and to join their wine club. We were very intimidated. As massive wine lovers this is an experience that we will remember for all the wrong reasons. And a $10 tasting fee.....come on..... another reason to force me to buy a bottle to get a free glass....

The only good things were the two ridgeback dogs and the labels on the flagship range...

Leaving with the pressure to buy a bottle was less than desirable....felt like we were buying a car rather than tasting wine...

Won't be back in a hurry.
