When it comes to my 4 o'clock tea I settle for nothing less than the best. That is exactly the reason that I visit Twinings on a regular basis. I am really conservative and usually have the same tea every time but for all those who like to experiment with theirs this shop offers the option to mix your own tea. The place itself is really small and rather charming. Would recommend it to anyone who likes tea the way it's ment to be.

Could sniff many varieties were also supplied with samples and are extracted with teas again withdrawn.

Brilliant experiences, happy memories and plenty of knowledge from the staff. There are tea masterclasses run so hopefully when I get a chance I d like to experience that. The items for sale are brilliant and the lovely flavours of the teas are spot on they change seasonally and with the added accessories like Chinese cups etc and coffee this is a experience you won t want to miss.

Went to this store with some friends from the Netherlands. I had my 3 year old son with me and to keep him entertained while my friends shopped he and I were smelling the different teas and coffees. Unfortunately an obviously stressed member of staff who had been rushing around stopped to tell me to stop doing that "Because those are for customers". Sad that in this day and age a store can be so non-family friendly.

This store is a curiosity. It is very narrow, all in length. The Twinings brand is one of the oldest names in tea merchants. Probably even the oldest. You have to drop by this store if you are nearby.

I love tea. I mean, I love, love, love tea. I'm a tea-aholic, and always have been. Whenever I find myself in London, I have to visit The Strand shop. Staff is always helpful and if you fancy a cuppa, pick a tea and they will brew it for you, the proper way. Get in early because the shop is quite tiny (corridor-style) and gets easily crowded.

An essential destination for tea lovers, there are all the variations of you, including those that are not usually sold in their own countries. There is also the possibility of creating your own personalized blend, in addition to the possibility of visiting the museum.

I visited the Twinings Shop in August 2017. Its a lovely little shop with a great range of different kinds of tea ( black tea, green tea, and so on). The tea isn't that expensive and tastes wonderful! If I am able to visit London again I will definitely go back to this shop!
I would recommend this shop to everyone who is tea addicted.

Shop selling lovely teas from around the world. They sell single bags of exotic teas, so good if you need to pick some british tea up before going on holiday (I can't drink the tea they give you over seas).

The oldest shop in London, retains the charm of a long-established shop. A must for those who love tee and above all for those who want English tees and not the export tee that is in Italy. I also recommend genuine and authentic souvenirs from London.

This has been on my tea-lovers bucket list for ages, so it was a "must visit" place on our trip to London. The staff were lovely, we got to try their festive tea blend, and I came away with even more tea for my hoard!

Huge selection of Twinings tea, both loose leaf and teabags. Limited edition/seasonal tea and coffee gifts are also widely available. The history aspect of this little shop is certainly just as great as the products it carries. I'd say this is an essential place to visit for those visiting London, even for those who don't enjoy tea (this could change your mind!).

Lovely shop with the friendliest staff. They offer a tea tasting service to help you decide what you want and are very patient. I work nearby and get a 10% discount which is a lovely incentive. Great selection of teas in a wide range of prices and great customer service. Heaven for tea lovers!!
