Grounds workers were terribly rude. 100% would recommend going anywhere else. Not only were they rude, but the grounds worker was threatening a customer.

Great par 3 course , reasonably priced with friendly staff .
Attempted to take lessons but my instructor had an emergency and had to reschedule, then had to reschedule again. I paid for a lesson package in advance and the instructor never called me back to reschedule. I called and they couldn t find my information, they called me back and I scheduled a lesson, after 4 months, the instructor had no clue that I had already paid, seemed very distracted, left me hitting balls while she went to give instruction to a gentleman that had just arrived. I didn t feel like there was any type of desire to actually teach me anything and I attempted to schedule another lesson but didn t receive a call back after 3 attempts to connect. I just wrote off the $200+ that I spent as the REAL lesson. Wouldn t recommend them.
Always a very good golf course for beginners like me. I don't think a single hole in the 9 hole is more than 150 and par 4. The sand traps and water hazards make some of the holes very very challenging.
Putting green is free to use which is nice. Great for practicing chipping and putting.
Employees are always professional and polite.
The only improvement would be to have a golf pro on staff to teach people how to improve their swing/game.
The fairways are a dog track but greens are in great condition. Fun little course of you're looking to kill 1.5 hours.
Wasn't aware that Augusta had moved to Gulfport!
Went to use the driving range with my wife and 5 year old son while our 4 month old is in his stroller. Get greeted by "are you guys moving in". Three sets of golf clubs for three people and a stroller for the baby. Hardly a lot of stuff.
Then get told that my 5 year old has the wrong type of shoes, so can't use the driving range. Seriously. Trying to get my son into golf but instead he leaves in tears. I realize that being the course professional at a city pitch and putt course wasn't your childhood dream, but have a little compassion and a little class.
Will not be going back.
Great course with a couple of challenging holes
.Excellent place to work on the short game
Just used practice facility, But, Mom in Law loves playing your couse. Staff very friendly!
Great place for a nice view and lovely scenery when the sun is setting
Not bad. Only went to the driving range. Price was good, but they could invest in some rubber tees. The majority of the mats were either missing tees or had ones that were really beat up.
great place to go for a walk around the lake and if you have children they have a wonderful playground..
This was certainly a favorite place for myself and family and we have referred so many friends to the course but after today and the treatment we received, highly unlikely we will be back...we were in a rush to make the tee time and just grabbed clubs and in error, I did not pack my own putter...didn t realize it until we hit first green and frankly didn t feel like going back to clubhouse to rent just one club. Especially after the Marshall made a pointed effort to intently watch us tee off and pointedly correct my son for being in the wrong place in the tee box...I was going to ask him to join us in the round for as closely as he seemed to need to watch and follow us...it was a beautiful day to play but final straw was having one of the pro shop staff tell my son that I was a liar about having two putters with us when we were leaving...there are 100s of courses within driving distance and although golf etiquette to have your own clubs is understood, horrible customer service and poor treatment of returning customers isn t acceptable...really a shame that these two gentlemen felt like they could operate this way and it s going to cause you to lose more than just our business...
I love this place good for me it make me relax to play.
We really enjoyed our time golfing here. We chose this course because its a par 3 and great for those who are not good at golfing or starters. We also liked that we could rent clubs since we are from out of state and didn't want to bring our own clubs.
We were disappointed when the marshall came and told us to get going on hole 2 because he had people waiting. We seen no one waiting behind us. We waited at hole 7 for 15 minutes because it was backed up and he never yelled at them. we also never had anyone waiting for us until hole 7 where everyone was waiting. We feel we were picked to get yelled at because we rented clubs. Not sure if we will be back even though we did enjoy the course.
A fun challenging nine-hole course with water and bunkers.
Nice little par 3 course. The driving range has a great awning over it to keep light rain or sun from spoiling the fun!
Totally renovated- club house for the First Tee kids is really nice.
Xlarge bucket of balls only $10 Great afternoon of fun with the one I love.
It's inexpensive, friendly, and a perfect place to walk, get a little exercise, some sunshine, and improve your short game.
Very nice 3 par course with driving range less than 14.00 to play
Practice cut short by the storm but staff gladly gave us rain check.
Nice range, course in great shape can't wait to play.
Great little local city 9 course.very well maintained.
Very nice driving range, putting green and prices are very good for this area. Course is always crowded and looks to have very nice greens for a par 3 course.
Very short course, greens were mostly brown and the staff was not friendly to out of towners.
Twin Brooke is a great little gold course. Superb driving range to start with. All 9 holes are par 3, ranging from 80 to 150 yards. Greens are very forgiving. Of you want to practice with your irons & wedges, this is a great course. You can do the course in an hour to an hour & 20 minutes. People in the club house & the greens keepers are all very friendly & helpful.
This was a great par 3 9hole golf course. We actually did it twice. So glad we did!!
Denied access to driving range of all places by staff for wearing a tank top during 95 degree summer heat. Will never spend any money again here thanks to an arbitrary rule.
Fun, inexpensive place, not intimidating to a newbie golfer
The course is fun and cheap but the staff was rude.
Short game is everything in golf; hence this very nice par 3 course... Highly recommend...
Nice driving range and practice green and very nice people in the pro shop. Par 3- 9 hole, pretty flat and not difficult.
Went to the course today for the first time with my husband, dad and father in law. Unfortunately due to the incompetent and rude customer service we received we won't be back. There are good employees there don't get me wrong. But the kinda heavyset guy with longish white hair.. he's gotta go. He's losing customers for your business. First he would not accept my dads proof of being a veteran..do I need to write more? You don't give a veteran the third degree to prove that they served your country.. that's not right. Next the guy wouldn't accept my husbands voter ID to sign up for a club membership (to prove he's a resident of st Pete...) it says clearly on the website that voter id is fine for this, and another employee agreed.
Next the guy comes out and although I had already paid for my first game I was not going to play a second game. Just wanted to relax while the guys finished a second game. He came out and then proceeded to tell us I had to pay a spectator fee and a fee to sit on my dads cart (which I was only sitting on while I waited for them to pay for their second round)...
This guy was just not good at customer service. We didn't want anything for free, just to be treated with respect. Sadly he did the opposite and lost 4 customers who would have spent a lot more money at this business.
Another employee did come out after we all asked to be refunded and got ready to leave (there are so many other golf courses there's no need to put up with disrespect). He apologized for the first guys behavior and said yeah he's just like that..
Well we agree. We would come back and play if that guy isn't there, but we all agreed there are so many other golf courses to try.. I doubt that we will be back.
Maybe some customer service training would be helpful. And always support and be grateful for your veterans and local residents.
Nice little par 3 course, for a young guy its more of a pitch and putt but for the elder person it is a lovely little course.
Glorified cow pasture , wouldn't even let us warm up with sandels on . I would recommend driving any distance to another course for a better experience.
Remodel looks great! Perfect place to take a kid starting golf.
The greens were in excellent condition today. As good as any private course. Nice 9 hole course.
Not the worst course I ve ever been to, but it s definitely below average even by par 3 standards. Half the holes aren t even 100 yards off the tee, and the quality of the fairways and greens leaves a lot to be desired. The only reason I come here is to practice my game since it s really close by. However, on my most recent visit I had an extremely unpleasant encounter with the ranger, who after seeing that I d hit 2 balls off the tee proceeded to pick them both up and drive away with them without saying a word. When I confronted him he gave me a spiel about how the course is for playing and not practicing. I ve been playing golf my whole life and would never hit multiple balls if there was someone behind me or if I was impacting the pace of play in any way. In this instance there wasn t anyone within 5 holes of me. And the fact that the ranger had the balls to pick mine up without saying a word to me I found to be extremely unprofessional and childish. For the price there are plenty of other options where you can get a nice practice round in and not have to deal with this garbage.
Great practice facility. We need more places like that around town
Golf Course and Staff have been amazing with my children. Excellent
Went in to hit a few buckets of balls with my 5 yr old son and father for some quality time, when I entered the club house the guy at the desk sent us away because we had flip flops on, ok I understand that one then when we came back he stated that my son was not old enough to hit balls with us but he would let us slide this one time! So I went back in to buy more balls and a water for my son and he then refused to sell us more balls and stated that we should just hit the ball we have and leave before he gets in trouble for letting my son hit balls yet there was a boy younger than my kid playing on the course. None the less I wouldn t recommend any one trying to show there young children how to swing a club to this place it is not kid friendly
My son attends the First Tee program here and we love it. There's a driving range as well.
I brought my six-year-old son there to play some golf because he is learning to play golf right now and the man at the desk told me that my son was too small right in front of him told him that he was not old enough when he just turned 6 years old last week he said you have to be 6 or older to play this golf course I said he is 6 My son went into the car crying because of this man how are young people supposed to learn how to play golf when you have people like this guy denying him at a shifty par 3 course such as that. This company should be ashamed of themselves
Outstanding... My Home Away From Home.. Great Place To Play.. Green are the Best Around..
Really good range and a nice little par three course.
I have not been there in a long time. So when I got a chance to go practice there last week I took it. It seems like they did some remodeling and are adding a First Tee base. The range was in good shape, buckets are priced fair. I do not like the balls, but they need the flight restriction. Putting and chipping greens are in excellent condition. I played 9 holes. Greens are great. The course is still being worked on. But I liked it and think it is a good practice facility with fair pricing. I will go back when in the area.
My Buddy lost his wallet there + the next morning it was at the front desk. Thank You All for your Honesty. We will be back!
I showed up without clubs. They gave me a few decent clubs and a large bucket for $10. Great spot if you aren't serious!
They don't sell or allow alcohol on grounds. Other than that massive hiccup it was a fun cheap time with friendly staff
Fun little par 3 course . Well maintained friendly staff plus a driving range
The course is short, but in great condition. Greens are well kept. I would rate higher if it was a longer course.
Driving range OK for some practice. Cute 9 hole par 3.
I showed up expecting a full driving range but only the range was only 200 yards. The grass in the hitting zones was all but non-existent. No drivers, fairway woods our hybrid were allowed. Matinace of the facility was horrible and the pro shop employees were rude and sarcastic.
Great place to practice...Great driving range!! Charlane is excellent for lessons and Saturday clinic
Horrible experience. Twin Brooks more like Twin Jerks. Never again. No stars.
At first glance the course was inviting and pretty competitive on the price. Me and a group of 5 others started our round and were having a good time when the course marshal sped over to us on hole 3 and assured us he was in charge and preceded to say we can t have a group of 6 playing unless we spilt up into 2 groups. When we split off and continued another guy met us at hole 8 and shouted pick them up you re DONE . We got kicked off an empty course and said we re not welcomed back even though we payed and didn t hold up anyone else playing. The staff is rude and the course is shrunk to the size of miniature golf but they treat it like the PGA tour. We all would not recommend golfing here and will never come back.
A good place to get you short game in order, A nine hole GC, a par 3 course. Walking is easily done, and the price during peak season, is very
Reasonable.
I have taken up golf, as many have, with the advent of Covid. Played as a youngster for years, but only sparingly throughout my life afterwards. Kids, first wife, and hockey were my priorities.
I gave up hockey here, to be safer, (I played 3 times a week) and because golf went individual carts, no raking, and trick devices for ball retrieval, I decided to go for it.
I was blessed to take lessons from Charlaine Tatz, and she has been a true blessing. She helped me redevelop my swing, one step at a time. I now am at a point where my confidence is up, and I can practice with confidence that I have a repeatable correct swing.
Charlaine, thank you, looking forward to my next lesson!!

Retired and golfing
Perfect for practicing; Perfect for playing. Gopf Instruction, and golf clinics available.
I had a fantastic time on the driving range for the first time ever "playing" with my fiance
The new course is awesome. They still need to fix some drainage issues around the greens but it's a huge improvement over the old version.
Today my dad, little brother and I wanted to play golf together as it's a rare occasion we get to do so...we called in and out as told around 3pm we DID NOT need a tee time... upon arrival not only did the gentlemen at the counter around 3:45 tell us we needed a tee time but my dad and I share clubs right now and they would not let us play without having our own sets of clubs.. which is obviously just a scam they use to get you to rent your own. I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone as the staff is unprofessional and lacks the ability to communicate effectively with customers. For growing up in the area and just now coming to twin brooks for the first time I guarantee we will take our family golf days elsewhere. Very disappointed.
Pros: Course/practice putting greens are in decent shape.
Cons: They wont let someone walk with you while playing the course. They would need to pay their own player fee even if they re not playing. They said it was for liability issues but what s the difference between someone walking and someone playing? I m not going to pay $26 to play an average par 3 course with my girlfriend walking for 9 holes. They lost my business that way.
They have a sign on the putting green that says don t chip higher than this sign . An employee saw me chip one ball roughly 6-8 inches higher than the sign and stopped me from playing and reminded me of the sign. I politely said okay and moved on. But sir, I am not a professional and can not control the height on each of my chips. I m here to get better.
Even though their hours say open til 6 , they close down around 5:30. This is very inconvenient for the folks who get off work at 5 each day like myself. I show up for 10 minutes (around 5:25), then they say they re wrapping up and going home.
Recommendations: I d recommend them investing in new range balls, half of them are worn down and knuckle in the air. It s hard to tell the true flight of the ball when it travels 30 yards less with each club than usual.
Fantastic people running a fun and challenging Par 3 course. Don't miss it!
Fun new layout, better maintenance, and better greens.
Putter and 7 iron better go to driving range $5 vs $18 to play on mud course
I only come here for the driving range. The prices are pretty good. My only problem is that the mats are filled with dirt and somewhat grab your clubs on heavier swings. Other than that, the staff are very courteous and personable and I will definitely be back.
