Great location, clean and quiet hotel and courteous service.

Great location, clean and quiet hotel and courteous service.
Excellent service. Lovely staff attitude, are kindly answered for every request .... Our second time at a family-friendly stay at a fair price. We will surely return ...
A nice and good hotel with spacious and clean rooms. Very friendly staff who want to do everything for you and regularly messages from the manager if everything is to your liking. The breakfast is very extensive. A big advantage is that you can be in the old city in a few minutes. The disadvantage is parking. Almost impossible at the hotel. There are possibilities in the area for a fee of around 10 euros per day.
Nice little hotel in an excellent location. Very pleasant staff.
EXELENTE, this hotel is very well located a few meters from Mamila, a few blocks from the wall of laments, the service is very good and cordial, the rich and rich breakfast, with a lot of variety, the comfortable and clean rooms, I would definitely go back !!!
Nice hotel, excellent location close to Mamilla. Not suitable for families. The food is reasonable no more than that.
I would not recommend this hotel because for the bathroom was not modern or overly clean and the room and level had funky smell. The customer service is good and the breakfast was nice.
Nice stay in the best city in the all world. Great Location, near everything ( I was impressed by that), clean room, free parking and wonderful breakfast. Really recommend this hotel.
The location is definitely a plus. Only about 10-15min walk to the old City. Staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet has plenty of choice. However the rooms, especially bathroom, and the breakfast area were not cleaned properly.I would have expected more for this price.
Beautiful location, close to the center, but could pay more attention to the cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms. The staff at the reception very friendly.
Rooms are a bit claustrophobic, but very cute decorated in the lobby, excellent breakfast
The hotel is just fine. The attitude is very good. All the courteous staff are polite. The service providers are very good.
We got a great dual aspect room with lovely view. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Brekkie selection was great and included fresh honey from honeycomb. Really accommodating with parking. Good walking distance to old city.
The breakfast was amazing!
One of the best hotel breakfast experiences I have ever had.
I love the large selection: cheeses, fresh veg, breads, juices, eggs, havla, oatmeal, cereal and espresso machine...and more!
We are having a wonderful stay at the Eldan. No complaints at all.
In particular, we like the convenient location. Just a short walk from Jaffa Gate. And, we love the delicious buffet breakfast.
The hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable.
I'm missing money left in the safe in my room. The hotel did the research and determined that an employee entered a few minutes into my room during breakfast hours. That employee resigned that same day. The hotel did not take care of anything! APPALLING. I never spend anything like it!
Unclean we found molds and a plaster glued to the sheet shower was stained.
Location is excellent. Good breakfast. Unattentive staff, run-down rooms. Parking is very tight. Be careful when exeting underground garage.
Started out well. Good lication and got a parking spot which is included but is on a first come first serve basis and it looks like there's 6 or 7 spots. Parking would other wise be approx. $15 Cdn/day.
Room was ok, we faced the main street which is also probably the best view of the city.
Stayed 2 days on second day we didn't get towels replaced just removed. They key card didn't work (both of them) so we went back downstairs to program. Still didn't work. Back down. Back up and still didn't work. Back again and same problem. Went down again and insisted the manager come with us. It worked.
No apology throughout. And then dirty looks on the way in and out of hotel.
Given the $$$ I wouldn't recommend.
Haven't seen the bill and I'm hoping it doesn't have any additional charges on it.
Small rooms but clean. Breakfast small. Not enough mehadrin food for observant Jews. Staff speaks sufficient English.
Great budget hotel. Amazing location. Clean. Somewhat updated. For example I noticed new shower heads and parquet floors. Friendly service. Easy check in. Parking may be a problem during the week. Breakfast was good, but not fully stocked at all times so you should take your time to see what is brought in. Baby cot was a nice and clean pack n play.
Situated in the city centre. Good service. Good value for money. so
Hotel is in an excellent location. A charming staff that provides exceptional service. Room is cozy and spacious.
Really nice experience. We spend a night here a few days after our wedding, and the hotel left us a bottle of wine and extra snacks. Also a really nice view from our window.
Everything arranged, normal breakfast, close to the old town.
Hotel well located but not very modern for the price
Excellent. Nice staff, food, location, parking lot was too small. Landry and tours help. 9 out of 10. (My rating.)
The hotel is well located, restaurants and other shops can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The staff is very friendly and helpful!
The rooms were fine, but could definitely be a little cleaner. The breakfast was sufficient and varied (buffet)
A simple and cheap hotel. It has advantages and disadvantages. Suitable for those who are just looking for a bed and shower at a relatively low price without special treats.
The rooms were clean but the level of maintenance needed improvement, although fine relative to the price (we were in more expensive hotels with poorer maintenance).
One side of the hotel overlooks mainly a gas station and also a bit of a section of the old city walls. The other side of the hotel mainly overlooks a neglected roof of the neighboring building.
There is a serious parking problem. The hotel has a small car park that fills up fast. She cannot be trusted. We found parking in blue and white but it's a matter of luck. Parking on the street is limited to two hours so parking must be renewed each time.
The biggest advantage of the hotel is the location. It is a short walk from the Mamilla Mall, the Jaffa Gate and the Western Wall, the train complex (first stop), the Montefiore windmill and more.
The hotel adheres very carefully to the corona regulations at breakfast. But because of regulations, half of the guests have to eat out. The problem is that outside there was a terrible sewage smell and it was unpleasant to eat with such a smell. The receptionist claimed she was unaware of this problem. I think this is a complete lie; I have seen similar complaints in other reviews and it seems to be an old problem that is not being addressed.
Great location, excellent service but could improve manicure. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is great. Housekeeping is to love each and every one of them. Cons: general maintenance of the hotel. Dirty hallway carpets, weeds on the front lawn, dirty doors...simple things than can be easily tackled yet it gives a wrong impression.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it's very centrally located, rooms and beds are very good, staff very friendly and efficient and the breakfast delicious. I highly recommend Eldan hotel!
Compact and modern hotel, very well located at 200m. del mamilla mall and 500m. from jaffa gate and the old city in one of the best neighborhoods in Jerusalem. The rooms are well equipped, clean and well maintained. Breakfast included in the daily, is kosher, plentiful and of good quality. In the afternoons they offer a courtesy snack service that is very appreciated by the guests.
Finally, all the staff is very friendly and professional. I would also like to highlight the excellent attention, hospitality and sympathy of Mr. Ahmed during breakfast.
We had a very pleasant stay.
Nice and close to the Old City, if there are no high expectations there are no disappointments. Just for sleeping
Poor rental ... you have to bend about 500 m to the car - but they win the price
Very good, clean, well placed
I recommend
Staying here for two weeks first impressions very friendly clean and hospitality first class
kind service
Good location
Great place, close to the old town and attractions, but some rooms are very tiny.
35 rooms. The rooms have been updated! Cleaning is done every day. We stayed there for 4 days. You can experience the ritual of candles on the Sabbath. On Saturday the breakfast is slightly less extensive than on other days, but you have plenty of choice! Friendly welcome and people are very helpful
I stayed in this hotel for one night. I forgot two jackets in the closet (hangout) of the room. I keep on calling the hotel and they can't find my stuff. They said that they will call me back but I am still waiting. Few hours after and many calls, since I left nobody could give me a clear answer about my jackets ...
I stayed here a few years ago, the food, service and quality of rooms was above what we expected from a small hotel, will definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a cost effective yet quality hotel experience in Jerusalem
Good price, excellent staff attitude, medium-class rooms. The amount thanks to the ratio is equal to return.
Great hotel, great breakfast! Service 10, good rooms, excellent cleanliness, we came back again and will definitely keep coming back.
A nice place in the centre of Jerusalem, rooms and food are ok
Comfortable hotel very well located: 5 min from Mamila by foot. Great breakfast and decor. Complimentary afternoon tea is offered.
Hotel in a great location.
The service is kind even when the hotel is full.
High quality breakfast.
Easy maintenance problem with the bathroom doors, but Lutz's all good.
About 300 meters to the old town, nice rooms, clean, I recommend
The rooms are tiny and barely fit one person. Bathroom is small too and uncomfortable. There are other hotels within a 3 block radius that are a so much nicer you would be shocked. Doesn't make sense how the pric of this is the same of the others nearby.
+ Room for three persons big enough
+ Rooms are clean
+ Reception very friendly and helpful
+ free parking in the underground car park, subject to availability
- Bathroom could be cleaner
- Breakfast bad, cleanliness left to be desired, warm dishes are inedible, it is not refilled
The hotel is centrally located, very close to the old town of Mamilla and other central sites. A clean, cozy hotel in a cool design gives great value for money. Breakfast is very good!
This is an intimate, esthetically organized hotel in a prime location
The service/staff were nice but the hotel is dirty. The rooms are tiny and the bathrooms are really squished. There is also a bad smell coming from the hallways. With a good renovation this place can definitely be a top hotel in Jerusalem
Nice hotel, intimate good breakfast and excellent location
The staff are polite & very helpful. The facility is a bit dated & some fixtures are broken/not in working order. Could do with some basic upkeep.
Friendly,
Nice breakfast,
ideal location for visiting the old town
Easily accessible by car
Staff not particularly helpful. Reasonable tourist class hotel. Good location.
Very clean and tidy hotel located minutes from all the attractions. Super friendly staff is eager to help you and get you anything that you need. Very close to big shopping mall. On a lively road. They offer free breakfast with great selection of cheese and coffee. They also have happy hour with great selection of snacks. Rooms are clean and comfy. There is outdoor seating available and location is so that you can hail a taxi anytime you want. Located on David st 15 min walk to dome of the rock. Clean restrooms and inviting atmosphere.
Nice service. Great location. Pool nearby. Superb breakfast. If you like a strong hair dryer, Take your own hair dryer or ask the desk. Highly recommend the rooms in the back, very quiet.
Amazing hotel experience! The quality of service is very high! warmly recommended
Breakfast varied and abundant, balance in the offer of sweet and salty. Quiet room, with electric kettle, tea, sugar, coffee, frigobar. Bathroom: Everyday clean towels, hair dryer, cream soap, bar soap, shampoo, body lotion, hot water at all times, toilet paper. Operational security box. Plugs comfortably distributed in the room. For a couple of hours in the afternoon in the lobby of the hotel, fruit, coffee, tea, milk, cookies, ice water are offered as a courtesy. Lobby staff very attentive and helpful. During the Shabbat the attention that was given to us, not being Jewish, was kind and cordial, and we took advantage of observing something of their routines, since that day many Jewish families come. Totally recommendable, we would return without hesitation
This is our second visit to this well located hotel, especially with free parking. The staff is charming, welcoming and professional.
Cozy hotel. Near the old town. By the way, the hotel offers tea, coffee with sweets, fruit and dried fruit during the day. Here are especially tasty Israeli dates. The hotel is clean, nice interior. I've already stayed at this hotel twice and would not have refused again.
Perfect location Lovely staff
Spacious rooms. We were very nice. 100% recommendable
We stayed at the Eldan for six nights. This reasonably priced hotel Is located in a beautiful part of town, and is a very easy walk to the Old City Jerusalem Jaffa Gate. The rooms were pleasant, comfortable, clean, and quiet. Shower doors, however, were not good at keeping water off the floor. The staff was very courteous, and helpful, especially when it came to cabs for tours and restaurant recommendations within walking distance of the hotel. We enjoyed every one. Breakfasts were amazing - breads, toast, cheeses, two kinds of fish, lots of spreads, salads, boiled and scrambled eggs, fruits and juices, yogurts, and some interesting things I am not sure how to describe. We looked forward to happy hour every day - there was a variety of snack/light food items. There were only two drink items beer (one light and one delicious dark) and wine (one white, one red) all very good. If we have the good fortune of returning to Jerusalem, we would choose the Eldan for our stay.
Hotel that needs renovation as soon as possible, very poor maintenance
A pampering hotel. Amazing location. Pleasant staff and services.
It is highly recommended
boutique hotel
Delicious breakfast
excellent service
Great rooms
Highly recommend
Great location, modest small hotel. Rooms must be renewed.
A charming boutique hotel with an authentic Jerusalem atmosphere
We had a very pleasant visit. Very friendly and helpful.
Nice hotel, good location with decent prices. Service not bad.
great location but rooms are tiny and there is smell of mold in bath room .parking is free but not many spots
