The stadium security was very poor at the gate we entered. The sound system was awful, we could hardly make out the songs or what the stadium presenters were saying. However there were lots of food outlets to choose from and the signage was really clear, with maps outside the stadium and clear signs to point to your seat. Went to watch the sevens, great atmosphere in the crowd.

Bit of a concrete monstrosity really but I wouldn't dare say that to die hard England Rugby fans who I'm sure adore it. Food and drink outlets in the stadium itself are sort of functional and expensive: all the style of a Soviet housing cooperative. Outside on match and gig days they have 101 food and drink stalls which is a little more fun. I think it's more about the event here than the building or the facilities, which are pretty Spartan but unfortunately without the Spartan prices.

Whilst the views are great that's the only positive element of the game day experience at Twickenham. The seats are small and cramped, the upper level requires climbing 12 flights of stairs on the outside of the building, the foyer on that level is open to the elements and has the most limits food options I have ever seen and you have to go back down to get anything else. The transportation links are terrible it takes almost twice as long to get to compared to Wembley which given there close proximity is shocking. Being directed all the way around the ground to get in was also highly frustrating.

Difficult place to get out of. Twickenham train station is about 45 minutes away from full time whistle, and then a wait for an overcrowded train to Waterloo. A better option is to walk to Richmond (30mins) have something to eat, and then catch train/tube back into central London.
PS Always an enjoyable place to watch Ireland win the Grand Slam on Paddy's Day!
