Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel Review

First time at Mecum auto auction! It was awesome!!

I really liked the food here. we had a very diverse group and everyone seemed to find something that met their needs. great drink selection from all over Asia.

Been here year after year for sneakercon and the place is always clean, organized and safe!

It's always a great time whenever I come to an event here. They always have friendly staff and it's easy to find where you need to go.

The convention center in general is very nicely laid out. There are plenty of conference rooms and plenty of seating areas to talk with other convention visiters. However, I was very dissatisfied with the in-house food that was sold at an insanely ridiculous price and the cold service of the staff. The food was basically frozen freezer food being sold at an insanely markup and was barely warmed up. Same issue with the alcohol that was served. Even though, parking was insanely difficult to find, we still found ourselves wanting to leave to find food. Overall, not happy with the business and the way it was run.

One dude working security couldn't be more unhelpful. Ask a question and he barely nodded his head. Thanks for nothing sir

There is not enough packing for most venues, but other than that the place is fantastic!

Enjoyed Stitches Midwest which was FREE on Sunday this year 2019

Great events here. Parking gets full fast, parking in the back of the building you will have to walk around the building. Wish they had an anti scald valve on the sinks, when it's busy and everyone is flushing toilets/urinals the water from the sink is very hot because all the cold water is flushing toilets.

View from the room is amazing. Very nice hotel and convention center!

Great venue, We were here for 5 days for a Karate Tournament. They have allot of parking, the AC was good ,clean bathrooms, water fountains. One of the better convention centers ive been to.

Great place to visit depending on what Expo will be shown.

good music, great cars, food is meh but you are coming here for the cars anyways

Went there for the minefair. The actual convention was kinda cheesy but the facility was really nice

Easy to get to by schumburg trolly. Many different events happen here.

Like not to have to pay for parking but the Show is much larger at the Stevenson center

Bad parking. Situation could've been handled better if lot attenfants had been present doing their jobs.

Center is nice. But the bike show I went to needs improvements.

Outdated convention center but ok reception area.Landscape was neglected and parking lot too.

Good size conversation center, depending on the event you may want to come a little early. The parking lot is big but for big events it can fill up

Have to love this convention center! Beautiful place and the staff is great! Perfect for business events!

The pheasant fest was great all the vendors were awsom hope to see another next year this is the first year it's been here and will definitely go again very clean established and very well put together

Very spacious and nice. Not enough direction signage to help guide u to your conference room though. Easy to get lost.

Wonderful Scrapbook Expo! The Center is beautiful and huge. Good for conventions, wedding receptions, large gatherings of all sorts.

Was there for an expo. Big place and lots of restaurants and bars there or close by

The facility is great. Tons of room. Staff was helpful. Overflow parking was easy to find and the shuttles ran every 3 minutes or so. Concessions were the only let down, but I didn't leave hungry. I would come to other events in the future, but I'd eat first.

This place was very nice. The staff was very friendly. Clean place but the concession stand was very high 5.00 for a Gatorade 4.00 for a soda. But they all are high priced. Very place that has the competition is high. It was $32.00 for the event for 2 days not bad. Some are less some are higher but it was a nice place very big.

Free parking, easy in and out and not over sized like McCormick. Nice clean facility

I went to the Chicagoland, fishing, travel & outdoor expo. It's a great show. The facility Handel's the crowd well. Pleanty of parking and easy to get to.

Venue is good and no extra charge for parking. Will return in the future.

Attended the fishing and outdoors show here and will soon be attending the Drag racing expo here as well. Been here many times and it's always good. The only thing I don't like is that the parking lot set up forces long walks to the building. Since most of the times I've been here it's been cold, windy, snowy, winter - that's a disappointment. But once inside its great.

Nice place.Easy access from Expressways. We went for a hot tub blow out & left with delivery date..

Chicago fishing show was crowded but venue was nice. Parking was impossible

Nice. Wide open area for conventions. Lots of parking. Conveniently attached to a quite large hotel.

Nice clean convention center with akpme parking right off the highway. Helpful staff. No complaints.

Mecum auction went well bus service was great lots of beautiful car's and trucks that were sold
