Let me start by saying I only gave one star because I had to in order to write my review. Here are my issues 1. Since March they decided to combine the tv and phone services into one for $10. Which forces you to pay the "bundle" price even though everyone has a cell. (Prior to that it was $6 for the tv and $4 for the phone.)
2. You have to call when your being discharged to cancel services. If not they will continuously bill you.
3. The cut off time for disconnecting is 3pm. If not you will get billed for the whole day. (Though if you don't get a room until 6pm and turn services on your billed for that whole day.)
This place is a scam. Idk why Richmond University does business with them. Their reps are so unprofessional. I had my son via cesection in February and called to have the TV put on for only two days knowing the third day I would be discharged in the am. I received a bill for the day I was discharged, and didn't set up and pay for, nor requested. And no one mentioned you would have to call to cut it off if you needed to or they will "use your discharge time".. I share my concerns and the reps response was, which excuse is it ? And our cut off time is 12 so you gotta pay...I'm not paying for something I didn't use. . it doesn't matter what you think is an excuse. He then says we have recordings we state we keep it on so I said then play it ..he puts me on hold and goes oh that was long ago its not here... So where's your proof ! You didn't tell me so I'm not paying ..he then defensively asks, well this is your third notice, why you just now calling? Excuse me, that's none of your business I have children to be sitting around over something that was your mistake! If you wanna sue me for 9.75, by all means, see you in court, jerks!
Unfortunately if you are hospitalized the day seems 100 hours long and some people are forced to use the tv service provided by TVR Communications. DON'T USE THEM! THEY WILL PLACE CHARGES UPON YPUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD WHICH YOU HAVE TO DISPUTE AND YOU'LL HAVE TO FILE COMPLAINTS TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK! IT'S A RIPOFF COMPANY! YOU HAVE NOW BEEN WARNED! READ THE REVIEWS WRITTEN BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN LITERALLY SCREWED OVER BY THIS COMPANY! BECAUSE IF YOU USE THEM THEN YOU ARE NEXT!
Hey People, This company will charge your credit card for telephone,cable,or both.They will get there money from the credit card company the next day.But if you should cancel service and are owed money back to your credit it takes them 2 weeks to give it back.Why is that ? I think that is called FLOATING MONEY.How many thousands of $dollars$ of peoples money are they using to make $money$ for THEMSELVES ? The banks use to do that,but the Government put a stop to it.I wonder if the Government know's about these Clown's.I going to see if I could find the correct Agency to REPORT THIS COMPANY to.Maybe they can put a STOP to THIS COMPANY and OTHER COMPANIES who are DOING THE SAME THING with OUR MONEY. The worst experience equipment is in adequate antiquated unrepairable something from the 1950s. You call for repair and miserable technician shows up and does a half with a job and shows a lack of training I had actually use medical tape in the Hackensack Hosptial to make the sound for the TV to operate. And they charge you $10 a day And they charge you $10 a day. Also I ve been in the hospital with my wife for 110 days in the movies that are on the list have not changed in the three months we have been here! There s no wonder it s a $3.6 million office with 99 employees because they don t spend any money on the infrastructure.
the fact the are charging 10 dollars a day which is 300 a month more then cable company. it disgust me that they would take advantage of sick ppl that way. bring the patient a laptop and stream for free
Because I was a former employee as well as my mother we were treated bably by the Distract Manager Linda Johnson. The service was not working properly, the tech offered a day credit that was taken away from Linda because of previous history. It was unprofessional and poor customer service, regardless of what, we are paying customers.
