Worst company I have ever seen. I am strongly recommended to everyone please go through my entire review then go for interview.
I got a call from this company that they are interested in my profile and they asked me what is your current CTC, Expected CTC, Offer letter in hand and Last day in my current company.
So my last date in my current company is 19th Nov and I told it during the conversation.
So Lets come to interview process.
First two round I went to office and it went well and they told me they will let me know after some day as my notice period is long.
After some day they told me to come to their office for third round in weekday.
I told them I can't come as I am in notice period. So as a solution they conduct telephonic round and that also went very good.
Again they schedule 4th round which is again telephonic and that also went well and I got positive response from the interviewer.
After giving 4 technical round I didn't get any answer from them so that I called directly to HR and asked what is my status.
So they told me my notice period is too long and my expected CTC is also high so that it will take some time to decide by their VP(Vice President).

After 1 month they called me and told that their management has agreed on that and they are ready to give me the offer with my expected CTC.
They told that within a week they will be sending me the offer letter.
After 3 days they called me that as you agreed with the same amount what you are currently holding, we are ready to give you the same amount.
I just get shocked. I told them that every round interviewer asked me what is my notice period and expected CTC and is it negotiable?
And I told each and every one that I already have an offer of X that is why I am looking for Y offer. They were ok with that and I know that is not their matter of concern, still they asked me.

So I told HR that "I told you and other interviewers earlier that I am expecting Y as an offer so how could I agree on X offer which I already have".

They told me you agreed with X offer as per our previous discussion that is why we can't go with Y offer.

So now here is my questions
1. If I have an offer of X why I will again go for the same offer.
2. Earlier I told them it is not negotiable then why they took 1 month to make the decision?
3. If they are so transparent about their commitments then why they didn't start the conversation in writing?

I strongly believe that they might got a candidate with less package that is why they applied this trick to me.

My suggestion to everyone who wants to go for an interview to this company please don't believe in verbal communication. Tell them to send in mail. And from my point of view if any company is playing this kind of dirty games to you then you should stay away from that and look for a better opportunity.
