Buen hotel en general, lo peor la comida y sobre todo el desayuno, es de cuarta categoria. Pero se te olvida todo cuando te sientas a tomar una cerveza en la terraza del hotel mirando al campo de golf.

A Scottish Hotel that doesn't serve Irn Bru because it might stain the carpets isn't worth considering for a wee break, even more a Hotel that is owned by the Satsuma in Chief should be avoided at all cost.

Been for afternoon tea here before and service and food was great. went again with my family at the weekend and the service was awful, the food was not much better, for afternoon tea ee got 2 finger sandwiches each, the cakes were terrible and tasted like bought in, and a couple of scones. We asked for some water, never got it. Everytime somebody wanted anything there was no-one to ask and the waitress never came near us to check if everything was ok or if we wanted more coffee or tea. The service was very slow and some family members had to cut short their tea to go and get their treatments even though we had left 1 1/2 hrs for tea. Very disapointed and not worth the money!!

A must play destination for any avid golfer. The experience was phenomenal from beginning to end, except for my jet lag hitting me hard on day 3 of our trip. The professionalism of the staff to the true experience of links golf with amazing vistas, all added to a great golf outing. Not to mention playing the course where Tom Watson almost pulled off an amazing win, but fell short against Stewart Cink. So test your skill and make this a bucket list destination, you won't be disappointed.

The place was just incredible. We only played golf the clubhouse was immaculate and the course was perfect condition. The staff from the front gate to the pro shop were very helpful and will definitely be back.

Visited turnberry for our anniversary last week. We are regular visitors through a few owners of the resort.
Rooms under trump are really nice, all the public areas are great, concierge was excellent, check in girl not so much, not really engaging or knowledgeable.
The spa is due for a refurb but no one seems to know when and what s happening.

We had a bottle of wine in the lounge, the waiter didn t ask us to try the wine, just poured,, no offer to replenish our glasses or replenish the snacks, all in all a poor experience.

Dinner- shame the dining room has been reduced in size, the wine water was fantastic, really great, food was disappointing, really small portions, it was our anniversary so the staff did give us a glass of proscettto as an apology which was a nice touch.
We also got a small plate of hand made chocolates with a happy anniversary message which was really nice.

Breakfast- we did enjoy this, nice selection of fruit/ meats/ cereal etc, hot courses also, but to be honest the table next to us returned their cooked breakfasts as being not up to Standard, never seen this before so think they need to address their chefs as being not up to scratch! Not something I have ever said before about turnberry!!!!

All in all we will return because we like the location but turnberry needs to address these issues- NOT UP TO STANDARD!!!!

Amazing venue in an awesome location. Food was delicious with beautiful views over Ailsa Craig at sunset. Breakfast was unbeatable. Staff very friendly and rooms spacious and sumptuous. Alcohol expensive at the bar but a small price to pay for some decadence on the west coast of Scotland

Amazing hotel and golf courses, especially Ailsa course. Incredible views and challenging round. The hotel is exceptional and service first class. Take time to walk the halls and enjoy the hotel history. Also the spa is worth a visit, maybe after a round. It was a great long weekend playing with friends. Highly recommended.

Fantastic trip, the redesigns of both courses are spot on! Our best courses played. The hotel and food was great and in such a laid back, relaxing atmosphere. I read some of the reviews of snobby etc. We had 4 guys and dressed like "sloppy Americans" and they were nothing but nice to us in every way. Great work.

Great hotel, but bar food in the evening was awful. Staff amazing, beds really comfy, enjoyed the spa, but a bit basic at the moment, been advised this will be upgraded. We don't play golf so can't comment personally, but advised by an American couple we met there that it is the best course they have ever played.

Turnberry is worth 10 stars!. Cannot be beaten for location, staff, cleanliness and value for money. The renovations are superb and the bedrooms spacious. The shower was vast and so well appointed. The breakfast was so good with local quality produce. Staff are by far the best in any hotel that I have stayed. Thank you Trump Turnberry for a wonderful and magical stay. We will be back as soon as possible.

Excellent.!!! Took my dog for the first time. He was made a fuss off and so welcome. Staff were excellent especially at dinner and breakfast. Could not do enough for you. So friendly and paid alot of attention to detail . Food could not fault it. Stayed and had lunch there many times before. They have raised the bar to a very high standard. Well done Turnberry.!!! Can't wait for another weekend. Happy Customer.

Staff are amazing however, they should hire more as they were worked off their feet. Meal was great but not as I expected. Expected a more exotic meal but, to be fair, the meal was to fit a large group of people. Lovely place, great staff. However, the desert seemed similar to the Christmas puddings you get in a plastic tub. Picture of the braised beef we had.

Lovely place to stay and have time off. Hotel is absolutely 5 star with great service. Place has lot to offer. Food in the restaurant is stunning. Love this place and I will be coming back whenever around.

Just because this hotel is better than most around (Ayrshire is sparsely populated) doesn't mean it's a five star hotel. Four stars at best but it doesn't compare to real five star hotels like Intercontinental Hotels and dozens of others. There is a lot wrong about this place.
