This is the most gorgeous hotel, resort, and golf course I have ever been too and probably will ever have the pleasure of visiting in my life. There isn't a negative feature in this place and can't wait to go back!

Location, location location. This very luxurious hotel is right across the street from the very historical Turnberry Ailsa Tournament Course. Staff was very professional and attentive. President Trump came in while we were there, so Security got very tight for our last night in the Hotel.

We dropped in considering the venue for a wedding and it was a mixed bag.

It's a shame that the venue was hosting a fight night as the crowd were imposing and a bit rough, the usual charm I have come to expect from turnberry was over shadowed by their behaviour.

We ordered the burgers which were massive and pretty tasty. But then we had coffee and it was really really poor. We had to ask for our table to be cleaned and even then it was still pretty grubby.

It's a shame that they are having to host fight nights in such beautiful surroundings as takes away from the stunning renovation work. Maybe if they distanced themselves from trump they could attract a more appropriate clientele.

Having visited on a few previous occasions and been very satisfied we were very disappointed on our visit this time. Service not up to standard and food a real disappointment had to send it back. Only plus was not being charged for the food. Hotel really busy not an excuse but would like to think this was a one off and hopefully if we visit again it will be back to it's usual high standard.

Great experience, this hotel has everything and has a great views of the golf course and the breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend and I will definitely return as this is definitely a 5 star location.

Wholly emasculate and luxurious, not a chip of paint from the baseboards to the walls nor tarnish on the bathroom fixtures did I witness. The view is mighty fine. A wee bit pricey for your average person. A five star hotel for sure!

The new decor is hideous, the old charm is lost. We've stayed here for years, but no interest in returning until ownership changes again. Current owners don't understand the place they bought, so sad.

What a shame....

What a shame....

My parents brought me here as a treat... however today was ladies day in the hotel and they also had other private functions on. With the result that the normal people suffered.

The menu for Sunday brunch they gave us as we came in was false, there was only half of the dishes available. The room was not a patch on the usual room and the food that was available was cold.

Turnberry would have better to have cancelled the usual brunch sitting. When the gentleman came and asked was everything ok... when my plate was still full after the main course, was told the veg and potatoes are inedible as they were stone cold. Desserts on offer were lovely.... but only half a dozen or so.

The staff were lovely... the food just let them down so much. Definitely a very poor show!!!

The final blow was after lifting full
Plates during the main course and discussing the disappointment with the manager, we were still charged full price... with no complimentary discount or anything.

Very poor

We stayed just for one night on a B&B basis. We should have been in a lodge but, as Gold Members, we were upgraded to deluxe ocean view hotel room. Oppulant is the best way to describe our room and all the dining rooms, bars and function rooms. What a memorable stay.

I had a spa day. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The massage was good and gave me some much needed muscle relaxation. But the food was not good at all. Chicken salad had processed chicken, not fresh. Honey cake was stale. Coffee bitter. Food not worth the asking price and I was compensated with a piece of carrot cake. Not good enough.

Enjoyed Spa area and especially treatments by Alice-very professional. Was totally relaxed by the end of it. We then had a two course lunch in dining/bar area which was pleasant although slightly spoiled by very slow service on part of the kitchen. The senior staff attending our table were quite exceptional and very good at their job. Would return.

Went for a wedding here, so had a quick walk around the hotel. Its an absolutely stunning place to spend a weekend though after checking the prices on their the rooms are seemed pricey but you get your moneys worth I assumed.

Had booked the top to toe spa package, ie full body salt scrub and back massage, use of spa facilities and afternoon tea. Spa and treatment were great, though the jacuzzi was broken. Unfortunately the restaurant experience was a real let down, not sure if the staff were new/inexperienced but several errors were made. We were asked upon arrival at the desk if we had booked the spa package, confirmed we had, then we were given a set lunch menu despite booking being for afternoon tea. When we queried it we were then given the afternoon tea menu along with the apology "sorry I thought you'd booked the spa package"... Which we had? Don't know if there was a Groupon deal on at the time or something as I couldn't see any other spa package in their brochure which had a set menu, they all included afternoon tea? Anyway this then led to the next query of, it's already prepaid, so why would we need a menu (turns out it was to allow us to pick which tea we wanted, but that wasn't explained to us, the waitress just plonked the menu down open at the food options page and walked away, the tea options were several pages further in). Food came and it was good, but no more special than what I've had in any other restaurant or hotel. We were halfway through and still no sign of our tea, had to call someone over yet again to chase it up. To top it all off, when we asked for the bill at the end to pay for the couple glasses of champagne we had ordered, they tried to charge us for the afternoon tea! How many times did we have to say we'd prepaid for a package, we had even shown the waitress a print out of our booking confirmation email which listed the package details! Very disappointing, for the price you're paying and that kind of establishment, you expect excellent service and unfortunately that just wasn't our experience. I wouldn't go back as not worth the money, will stick to my local hotels which are just as good!

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff and quality food at the restaurants. We used suite award nights and got upgraded to a very nice suite on the second floor overlooking the coast - amenities in the room were great and bed very comfortable. Would recommend

We booked an Anniversary weekend here after failing to make it out of Scotland due to the snow. Booked the dinner Bed & Breakfast package. We also brought our dog with us and she, the dog was very welcome here. The staff couldn't do enough for us.

The food in both restaurant was fabulous as was the choice of breakfasts. It made up for not getting away on holiday. We are planning on coming back as soon as we can.

The Staff are so polite and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble.
Bedroom was lovely although bed quite high.
Bathroom was large with free standing bath.
Evening meal was good but music was a bit lift like. Evenings are quiet..not a lot to do.
But very relaxing.

It was a great honour to have Breakfast with President Trump. Hotel and Venue was superb and I will definetly visit again. Our Caddy Zander was superb in his efforts to make our trip extra special. He was very knowledgable of the local history surrounding Turnberry.

Trumps hotel is great and we really liked this place. Its a stunning venue decorated and modernised to a very high standard with beautiful views of the golf course, sea and Island. The spa is fabulous (but I did not get to try any treatments on this occasion) the golf is some of the best in the world and the restaurant 1906 serves great food with hearty portions. One of the very best features of this hotel however is the staff, who were all extremely pleasant and made all the guests feel extremely welcome! I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant and will definitely be returning!
