What a dump. Me and my friend donated $40 today.... I know they just opened in jan but it was easily the worst conditioned course I have ever played! We left after 10 holes to go hit balls in his cow pasture, they need to cut the price in half until they get the course in half way playable condition.
I was excited that the course was open as I loved playing it years ago. Don't waste your time or $40 to play it. Cow pastuers have more grass than these fairways. Greens don't exist. I had an 11 hole raincheck and they stationed a ranger to stop me playing 30 more minutes before sunset. If you are trying to get back customers, that's not how you do it. Maybe in the summer it will be better but as for now at least they have a grass range not mats.

Pretty good course. Very friendly staff. I would play here again. The only issues I had were the greens pretty slow and bumpy and they need to add more direction signage. I wasnt sure where the pro shop was located to check in.
I ve played a few rounds at Turkey Creek now and I love the layout of the course. Yes, the greens are new, but they rolled great today and I expect they ll be in really awesome shape once the weather is nicer. Happily bought a membership and looking forward to playing every week!
They have put a lot of time, effort and revenue into re-opening the course. Great job by ALL!!

The guy who gave it 1 star should reconsider the facts. The course opened on 1/25 after being closed for 11 years. It s a public golf course. The greens aren t going to turn into Augusta overnight. Compared to the other public golf options in Gainesville, it s not bad.
People are nice but everything else is terrible. Range is beat up, fairways are just crab grass and mud, and every green but 2 look like the fairways. I get they re a new course but don t hype up the opening then deliver this course for $30-$45. You can make the 30-40 minute drive to Ocala to play a much better course for the same price.
Fantastic! The staff are awesome! The price is great! I'm not any better at golf but that's my own dilemma.
Pretty great place for being closed for the last 10 years. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Will be back again to help support the improvement of this fun track!
