Best college experience anyone could have asked for.
Everyone was really good except for Dr Jiang. She was very unprofessional, she need to be more compassionate, understanding, and courteous to the patients' family. I chose not to allow them to put a feeding tube in my father because he is still capable and able to eat, she was very unhappy with my decision and retaliated with an unpleasant attitude and refused transportation. I had to go talk to security and and then speak with the nurse to get transportation to come and take my dad down to the car. One bad apple can spoil everything. Some doctors should not be doctors and need a new profession.
Great college, great people, and worth every penny.
The predecessor of Tulane University was the Medical College of Louisiana (Medical College of Louisiana) established in 1834. It was the second medical school in the southern United States. In 1837, the medical school was merged into the then established University of Louisiana. The school was closed in 1861 because of the American Civil War, and recruited again in 1865.
In 1882, New Orleans businessman PAUL.TULANE donated real estate with a market value of more than one million dollars as an education fund, and established the Board of Administrators of the Tulane Educational Fund. use. In 1884, the state legislature passed a resolution to transfer the supervision of the university to the Tulane Education Fund Committee. Since then, the University of Louisiana has been converted to private and renamed Tulane University.
In 1885, Tulane University established a graduate school. In 1894, Tulane University established the College of Engineering, now the College of Science. In the same year, Tulane University moved to its current campus in Uptown. Tulane University established a business school in 1914, which was the earliest business school in the southern United States at that time. Subsequently, Tulane University established other colleges one after another.
In 2005, due to Hurricane Katrina, Tulane University canceled its fall courses. In 2006, classes resumed after the disaster, and 93% of the students returned to campus.
Very expensive but a great education and social life.
Amazing institution with top-tier faculty and research opportunities.
Because My dautgther in love studing in this university and she is a good athlete and student too.
The students were nice there and its so close to my grandmothers house
If you get a class with REDA AMER , IMMEDIATELY GO TO ADMIN AND GET SWITCHED OUT. I would never subject any individual to their religious indoctrination...PATHETIC.
This is really the place you want to be at for college if you want to be independent and yet still be close to home. This place has so many fun activities and anyone can join the gym.
I like their Dean, Engineering Department and Naval ROTC.
Tulane has a vibrant Chemistry department with cut-edge research labs, graduate program is awesome and everyone is supportive and do the best to help you grow! Also, Chemistry grad students are getting payed via TA or RA, which is absolutely vital.
I made a phone call here to ask a general question at the workforce management department, was put on hold, and never put through to anyone. I called back and was hung up on abruptly. I thought that was very unprofessional behavior. I hope the university invests in customer service training for their employees, or adopts some better business practices.
Even if you are not interested in attending Tulane University, I strongly recommend visiting it. The tour of the school gives you some knowledge about how the young adults of New Orleans take part in the community and how much of the things you are touring are actually run by students. My family and I were not expecting to actually be considering Tulane for college, but we all fell in love with the campus instantly. The guides were very knowledgable about the school and also about the community of New Orleans. It was nice to hear the perspective of a younger person instead of an adult who grew up in New Orleans about what the best parts of the city are. Touring Tulane is a MUST for anyone visiting New Orleans
My experience became so much better after Dean Suri joined Tulane. Her leadership has helped me exceed my expectations for a Tulane education and surpass what I thought was possible to achieve my dreams. I graduate in 2019.
I graduated with a masters degree from Tulane. This is one of my most prestigious accomplishments. Professors were off the charts with not only their education but work experience. I developed friendships that with last a lifetime with fellow classmates. My degree from Tulane has helped me tremendously in furthering my career.
Why would anyone give the institution 1 star based on Maya Rudolph's rendition of the national anthem?!? Nuts. Tulane is a fantastic institution where I have made many lifelong friends and learned some incredible things. I highly recommend anyone that values a quality education to come here. Enough said.
The best private University in Louisiana, one of the strongest nationally too.
Four years of intellectual stimulation and excellent company in a supportive and lively environment. It was less pricey in my day (the 1966-1970 tuition was $750.00 per semester), but a Tulane degree is still good value. For me, Tulane was a formative experience. I majored in French, and learned valuable skills for later life, including literary criticism, poetry translation, and the French language. I still use my French, now I am retired. I participate in several francophone and francophile organizations in New Orleans. As well, my courses in Theatre and English literature have stood me in good stead. I am now a performance poet, and perform frequently at the Neutral Ground Coffee House and at the Maple Leaf lBar, and other venues in town and in Louisiana.
Tulane is an amazing university. I highly recommend the business school (A.B. Freeman School).
Tulane and LSU law are the best Louisiana has to offer. Had a wonderful 6 years here and have paid a good amount of tuition for satisfactory education of one of my children. Great to be a Tulane alumni. Top notch education whether you are instate our out of state. Campus is in a gorgeous part of the city and convenient to the airport. Geaux Green Wave!
Tulane provides an astounding education with phenomenal educators that are passionate about teaching and supporting students. I am currently studying in the Freeman College of Business for my Masters of Business Administration.
This is the second time they've sent me an invitation and this one was different, but the thing is the invite that they sent was not for me. It had my name at top (Rachael) but in the message it was for some Nicolle person. It just goes to show this school ISN'T the one. I make really good grades and for them to just copy and paste is just making the student feel like literal dust.
UPDATE (WITH MORE PICTURES) 9/25/17
Here they go again. They keep trying to get me to look at their school, but NO! It is TRASH. Just stop and it's too expensive anyway. They put my name on there this time and the package is bigger. If I went to this school I would be nothing but a school ID NUMBER ONLY even with all my hard work.
I had no idea I would be a student at Tulane, so everyday I chuckle. I m truly fortunate to have been mindful of the opportunity and take up personally with the rest of the student body.
Beautiful campus, great staff. Good academia. Loved it.
Beautiful Architecture and Park, really special energy here! Great personal and staff, feels so much support to me! God bless this place!
Awful University. 2006 freshman dormitory basement was flooded with brown stagnant water. Meningitis anyone? Huge cuts to the school of science and engineering. I could go on but not gonna waste my time with this university.
This is for their operator, Which is rude. I ask her to transfer me to one of their staff and she just told me to look up their website because the name and phone number were listed there, I told her that I don't have my pc with me then she hung up the phone immediately, Leaving me with no answer.
Very beautiful campus. It is really great to walk through and enjoy.
Unfortunately most of my students patients come here with struggling with major addiction accidents and trauma due to environment
Beautiful campus. Noticed signs for theater dept productions wish would have come up on Google search of things to do, bc we missed show we would have seen while in town.
Great facility and doctors. Dr. Savoie is patient and takes time to make sure that his patients fully understand their disease process and the proposed treatment and outcomes. He has a national reputation as one of the best in his field. The office is efficient and runs on time with flexible office hours. Wonderful, efficient and friendly staff.
Great music department. Loved the sax. NOLA is the best.
Such a beautiful school. Went there for a college tour and it was great. Excellent opportunities for any student wanting to come to this school.
I have to give it up to the best school in the world!
Beautiful campus where everyone can find their place.
