I have attended three weekend diving trips with this company. I returned for the food, friends, and the destination. Giving one star is being generous. The boats are old and unsafe. The beds are uncomfortable. The bathroom is dirty. The crew is self absorbed and unprofessional. Lastly, I lost a dear friend on year ago when one of their boats caught fire.
Aside from murdering 37 people due to gross negligence, this is a good place to go for mediocre diving.
Great place to dive with. The captains always know where the best dive sites are and they are extremely experienced with the channel islands and the coast. The food is always delicious and they have plenty of snacks and fruit around the boat.
I just completed my Open Water Certification this past weekend with Bamboo Reef and it was honestly a wonderful experience. I cannot recommend their entire operation enough to anyone considering getting certified or if you're a long time diver.
For decades, Truth Aquatics has been widely acknowledged as the best of California dive boats. I have been on the Conception and the Vision, and they were all excellent trips. Despite the bad press and reactions by nattering nabods of know-nothingness, I loved this company's services and will continue to support them, for they are the best in the business.
Amazing that this company is still in business after the fire disaster last year. Incredible that anyone would take the risk of sailing with them.
I loved it! Came here to celebrate our anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The Truth Aquatics was super friendly. He dropped the message in a bottle for my boyfriend, played along and even sang us a song under a bridge. Dont remember his name but he was British. Definitely recommend!
We did a 3 day trip through the Sierra Club (hiking, kayaking, etc.) and Captain Craig and his crew were AWESOME! Their attention to safety, friendliness and helpfulness couldn't have been any better. The food was great and my husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend Truth Aquatics!
