A very poor place. The owner has some serious issues. Sad!

Didn't give us are complete order also asked for lettuce on our wrap that we didn't get and they argud that we did. Hello I have the wrap in front of me. Terrible service!!! they lack the ability to make an order correctly. And definitely are unable to make it right.

Great place to grab a quick bite during the day or party all night. Great food, great people, and fantastic atmosphere! One of my favorite places to go in East Lansing!

Prices misleading, manager not Accommodating and doesn t care if their prices or signs are misleading. BE CAREFUL!!!

An hour & a half ago, I ordered a gyro, a burger with Swiss & no veggies, & some mozzarella sticks. We were delivered a gyro & a burger with cheddar & lettuce, tomatoes, & onion. I called 4 times, once reaching a voicemail that was full. The fourth time, a flustered guy answered the phone, trying to say he d look into it & hang up. I asked didn t he want my name, address, order, anything to know what was incorrect. He took down the order again, promising he d have a burger & mozzarella sticks right away. That was another 45 minute ago. I got off work 2 hours ago & don t have time to get something else to eat. And I tried calling them again, but of course, no answer.

Edit: they showed up right after I posted this with an amazing burger & a double order of mozzarella sticks for the trouble. The guy on the phone was very apologetic & the delivery driver was nice. Their customer service brings them back up for sure.

Edit again: we ordered again & they got both items we ordered wrong. I m not going to even bother trying to call them again. I feel like they must not even read the orders that come through.

Fun place to be at during the night life but very crowded. So be prepared.

Lou has terrible customer service. Terrible drinks. Terrible people. Have nothing good to say about this dump. The music is garbage 90% of the nights. The place is just disgusting and smells like garbage all the time.

The bar is great but I am giving 2 stars for the service when it comes to food. I ordered for delivery at 6:30pm and got a phone call around 7pm telling me they did not have a delivery driver until 8 and so he would deliver then. I didn't really care, whatever at that point. However I did not receive my food until 9pm and it was cold and soggy. I called about the situation and whoever was on the phone didn't really care either.

Some of the most filling pub food in the area, the employees are incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is super welcoming.

Drink specials incredible misleading. Supposed to be $3 mig but ended up paying $7. Very watered down and very weak drinks.

The service was wonderful, quick and friendly. All of the employees were kind and playful but very professional. My food came out great and the wait felt like nothing, would recommend to any curious about the place.

Ordered delivery. The restaurant took a little long to prepare but the uber driver was able to get it to me still warm. Both my friends order and mine was made perfectly. No issues. I saw a lot of negative reviews and I'd like to thing my orders quality is a reflection of change. For what it is that the price its definitely not bad.

Good deals and nice atmosphere, but I had bad service a couple times, even once where a waitress didn't give me my full order because she didn't have the time, but i had already paid for it all and had waited a really long time.

Overall the food was okay, the gouda Mac and cheese bites were phenomenal but the grilled cheese was not melted fully. What knocked two stars off was the customer service. The first staff member( a bigger muscular dude) did not even say a word to me brought my order, took the money and had a different staff member give me my change. First time I didn't leave a tip based on poor quality of service.

This was a terrible choice. Thought i could give them a chance. I thought wrong. My so called rodeo burger was a tiny wad of meat with some mushy red onions a half a slice of tomato a sprinkle of lettuce and tough fries. If i could give less then a star i would. Waste of money and time. Beyond disappointed with this place. Ugh.....

Haven't been to Lou and Harry's for years but it used to be really popular the location is worse than before and the music is the same as 10 years ago which is unbelievable.

Nice. Service and food is good. Usually grab a bite and a drink after work or for a quick lunch over the weekend.

They have ufc fight pass sometimes which is nice, but I did not like the service or staff

Fun night life, great dj with diverse music, cheap drink prices and plenty of students on Friday and Saturday nights. There is no parking that s the only downside!

Lemon and vodka wasn't as good as I wanted it, Harry fixed us a new drink! Love the place!

Went there for a drink and it was super packed. An off duty manager was harassing women and saw him punch one in the face. Pretty unprofessional and unbecoming. Many of the people in the bar looked underage... Bring back Woody's!

Ordered a burger with extra Swiss cheese through takeout. Received a burger smothered in the most disgusting American cheese product imaginable. Literally tasted like cheese from a food bank. If you're going to get orders wrong, at least use good products.

Great burgers and good beer. Best atmosphere of the bars I've been to around here so far. Good service as well, would recommend!

Love this place. Great staff and pretty good food.
Gyros are the best thing for sure, and they are constantly trying new things as far as menu variations.
Owners are especially awesome, even more so to people they recognize. Always friendly, and warm to most who walk through the door.

Food wasn't very good, especially for the price. Bartender was rude when not negligent despite there being only one other person in the whole place.

I lived in East Lansing during the college years of the late 90's early 00's and loved Lou and Harry's. I hadn't been back in years and today a group of us went for food and drinks (they didn't serve alcoholic beverages when I was college age) prior to the ND vs MSU game. Our server was very sweet but overwhelmed with how busy it was. Unfortunately, the poor girl had a seizure during a very busy gameday crowded bar/restaurant. Fortunately our group consisted of a nurse and a respiratory therapist that rushed immediately to her aid. The young female server appeared to be ok following her three minute tonic clonic seizure. What was somewhat shocking and disturbing to me was the lack of concern the management/ownership showed towards this young woman. The nurse in our group explained that a seizure similar to the one this young lady had, would typically drain someone's energy so badly that they would sleep for most of a day following a seizure of that magnitude. Instead of insisting this young woman go home, rest, and care for herself, she went back to work serving tables (and limping because she hurt her hip in the fall when she lost consciousness) within 5 minutes of the EMT's leaving. It really upset our group.

The secondary frustration was prior to our waitress's seizure. The kitchen lost our food order. We waited for nearly two hours for our food. The management apologized but did absolutely nothing to compensate us for their lack of handling our order effectively. Not that anybody wouldn't help out, but with the initial problem with the food order and then the way our group aided this young woman during her seizure, I would think they would have completely comp'd the tab. There were four of us, one of us is a manager in hospitality services, the nurse, a respiratory therapist, and a medical equipment salesperson and none of us could believe that not even a free drink was offered.

In spite of the nurse and respiratory therapist helping to make sure their server was safe, simply making customers wait for nearly two hours for their food is ridiculous. Fortunately the company of our group was great and we were having a good time together.

In spite of the frustrations, we are all hoping and praying our server is safe and that she at least made out with some great money completing her shift.

Sadly, I don't think any of us will ever go back.

I have never had Lou and Harry's and was hopeful but it was an awful experience. As I was chewing my Chicken Gyro I felt something hard and it turned out to be an entire metal and plastic twist-tie, like the things they use to close bread bags at the super market.

So happy L&H has stayed open during this state wide shutdown. I just picked up my second order from the East Lansing location. It was hot and ready for me when I walked in. Definitely Recommend! Thanks!

Great food & beer choices along with Shane s excellent service! The wings are great!

Good atmosphere if you're there to drink, bad if you're there to eat. If you want good food go to their other location just down the road.

ordered two burgers, fries, and pita with tzatziki... found this hair in the tzatziki container. Burgers were good and this ruined the meal

Olive burger was fabulous! Wait staff suggested it, I tried it, I loved it! Good job!

Wasn't bad, but this definitely isn't a top 5 choice for anything in EL. Fine place but there's a lot of competition..

Love this place!!! Not only is the staff comprised with great people but the food is amazing! The tommy pita and johnnys grilled cheese are the best items in the menu.

Excellent house made hummus and chili but the fry with feta and greek dressing were the bomb. Service and atmosphere were also great. My one complaint is all the seating is pub height.

Horrible. would give 0 stars if that were an option but sadly I will have to credit them at least 1 star because of google. Don't go to this poo poo establishment. It's mediocre on its best day, trust me. Go anywhere else.

Great time at Lou & Harry's. Great to see them and some of the other East Lansing bars and eateries back open. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was awesome. The staff was friendly and quick and did a great job. Looking forward to my next visit back to Lou Ha's!

I ordered a steak sandwitch. It was so fatty. Smelled like fat. Fat dripping. Bun was smooshed. They really dont care about your health neither quality of their food. They did not even cared enough to answer their phone. I asked grubhub to do something they said restaurant do not want to do anything about it. Once they take your money they dont take responsibility anymore.

Say what you will about the quality of the drinks, the seating, the wait staff - but playing pool here with some buddies over a $6 pitcher of margarita is some of the most fun I've ever had. A new EL staple.

I ordered Greek fries. They gave me regular fries without any notice

So they have a tendency of trying to confuse you by their rules. It clearly states that they have a $3 mug so I ordered 6 mugs and got over charged. When I brought it to the managers attention he didn t care and said there was nothing he could do about it. So basically they try to get down on you by phrasing their deal in a way you can t understand and then charging you lastly they have a zero tolerance policy so if you re too drunk or dancing and having a good time they will kick you out. Other than that their music is good.

So, I don t know how to respond to the manager but this is my response-the second paragraph. (I m editing this to respond to what the manager wrote). I spoke with the manager and he did not offer NOTHING to accommodate us! There stated NO WHERE in clear writing that the refill itself was a different purchase from the mug and that the mug does not come filled, you re Soley buying a mug. (And I m saying this bc the manager stated below that it is clarified on both chalk boards when it wasn t.) AGAIN....it was misleading and appeared to be perceived as the drink itself being three dollars and the refills was a different price. And even when I brought it to the managers attention and we did not Drink barely any of our drinks, he did nothing to about it, clarified what should ve been on the board and walked away. So, I paid the price and I decided that I will not be going back there because of the miss leading information, and rude management . The manager began by saying that the only way he can accommodate us is if everyone did not drink the drinks (which we hadn t, took a sip or two) so I told him that everyone did not drink Their drink, that they were still completly filled so he rephrased it and said that everyone still has the dribk basically in their hands already so he cannot do anything about. In all they lied in their comment, our drinks were still filled to the top or else I wouldn t have brought it to their attention, they did nothing about it when I did bring it to their attention , and but mostly specials on the chalkboard were misleading and obviously I wouldn t have ordered 6 mugs had I know my bill was going to come up to $42 !!

Food was okay, arrived cold at no fault of the restaurant (it was delivered through Doordash). However, half of the meal was missing. I called, and was told I need to deal with Doordash for reimbursement. I really just wanted the rest of the meal, so I drove down to pick it up. I appreciated the correction being made quickly, but chose delivery for a reason.

I don't know why we keep trying them. This time they were out of ketchup. Really?! A worker went to the store and came back with 2 bottles while we were there.

Here's a quick story about how I learned they take pride in their food: I ordered a half pound of their golden bbq wings. Within minutes they called me to tell me they were or out their homemade golden bbq. Furthermore, they warned me that they have store bought sauce, but it's "not even freakin' close."

The wings were fantastic even with the store bought sauce. The parmesan garlic is also fantastic. It was so good that I'm going back two days later. It's one of my new go to restaurants.

Never order from them. The burger is not even half the size of the bun complete rip-off. Soggy mess. Burgers are not even 1/4 lb. On top of that how can you have over cooked fries. Can get a better burger at McDonalds for a 1$

Burger was dry and not even close to "cooked to order.was ordered med rare and got well .watching the cook mash on the patties with the spatula and his body weight pretty much told me it was gonna be dry and over cooked
