3 weeks ago requested in writing to cancel a savings account as of today and to transfer the balance to a payment account with another bank. Last week this also by telephone, checked, checked. All paper trade and signatures were correct so it wasn't a problem. The money would be transferred today. Despite this commitment, this did not happen. I feel lousy!

What an awfully customer-unfriendly bank. Exorbitant rate increases and everything has to be done by post. Long waiting times on the phone and when you finally get them, they do nothing for you. Bah! Current and savings accounts have now been canceled and it will be my business account next year. Will be happy when I get rid of it.

Very satisfied with their customer service as a non-dutch expat. I have been comparing them to ASN Bank and found Triodos customer support to be far friendlier. While neither bank offers English documentation, Triodos customer service worked with me through phone and facebook to satisfy me thoroughly, answering many questions, even transferring me to people with strong English language. There support group is so intimate with one another that that their facebook team messaged me glad to hear I was helped by the phone operators. ASN Bank never offered me such help and instead quickly concluded that it is not in my best interest to bank with them because of the language barrier. I beleive Triodos wants to be involved with internationals as referenced by their greater overall European presence, while ASN cares for Dutch integrity; and there is nothing wrong with that.

Initially opened a business account with another bank, but after dissatisfaction opted for Triodos Bank. Didn't regret it for a day; what a bank should essentially do, they do very well. Customer service is also a relief; not people who have to answer the phone and then just have to get by, but people who work higher in the organization, so to speak, and who add customer service to help people adequately. No other bank for me!

What a misery. I am in the automotive industry. Had to fill in a list o a who my clients are and with whom I do business in Europe also weird other questions because there is a big difference between countries that are members of the EU schengen or that are in Europe such as Switzerland Ukraine and others. Answer door op is private companies and suppliers of car materials and tools. The bank found me a risk of money laundering terrorism.
I am unfortunately well offended and indirectly accused. For me, these people are a danger to our country. And does not want to have anything to do with them !!!

Actually ridiculous for words that other banks are so unsustainable and do not do the same as Triodos Bank. I also totally do not understand the negative reviews: I always have someone like that on the phone, who can really arrange something and not some call center. Maybe they are a bit less flashy with all kinds of gimmicks in their app, etc., but nice and interesting.

We are a start-up company with sustainable ideals....

We are a start-up company with sustainable ideals. So we applied for a business account with Triodos. Immediately after the establishment of BV made the application with all papers (Chamber of Commerce #, articles of association, etc) and application form.
2 weeks waiting time.
After waiting for 2 weeks, it turned out to be 3 weeks. We receive new questions on the last day of 3 weeks. Questions that could also have been included on the application form. Those questions answered within 3 hours. What do you think? At the bottom of the pile and another 2 weeks waiting time !!!
In the meantime, our customers want to transfer money to us, we have to pay suppliers and the tax authorities want the first VAT return. And we do not have an account after 1 month.
Now to the super fast, cheaper (but less durable) knab?

I wanted to open a new bank account with Tridios but that is not possible because I do not yet have a Dutch bank account. Well, this is exactly the reason why I want to open a bank account. The customer service told me that I had to register at a bank other than transferring. This is just bullshit.

Want to cancel an account that you have had for 10 years and where there has been no change in the signature since then and then indicate that it does not match, so that the account cannot be canceled. Bizarrely customer unfriendly!

Transferring money takes 2 minutes at most banks, and a whole weekend at Triodos Bank !!
And then some: they don't bother to respond to reviews. Then you don't have much to do with your customers!

Why aren't you open at the weekend, don't you understand that people sometimes have questions at the weekend and that they also need to be answered quickly? And you call yourself professional, a bunch of clowns that's what you are, I'm going to change banks today, every other bank is probably better, because being worse than Triodos is going to be really difficult. It also sometimes takes weeks before I receive a letter from you with something in it, that really should not take longer than 5 working days. It's Saturday, so I can't get any help with a problem I have soon, I'm very disappointed, and see you again;)

Was satisfied when I had the bill, but suddenly the rates doubled. When I wanted to cancel the bill, it should be possible via the app, that option was not there for me and the customer service said 'yes that happens with multiple accounts, no we have no idea why' (?). The only alternative is to print forms yourself, fill in manually, get stamps, put them on the post, wait at least a week ... that is no longer really of this time, great opportunity for progress lies here ..

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK!
I didn't mind that the opening of the accounts took over a month, I thought it was an exception.
Domestic transfers take 2-3 days, tikkie once took 3 days to arrive! The service is really very poor and now I am busy with closing of the accounts. For almost one month again! I have to write letters, I am making phone calls every day... It's becoming part of my daily routine... Drama.
During the fourth call, having the name of the person I spoke to, I was assured, I would receive an update via phone call or email that same day (because that same promise was not kept the day before, did I mention that I call them every day?). Guess if I received the update?

Bad experience with this sofa. When the rates were suddenly increased by 100%, it was decided to leave this bank, also because the technology lags far behind compared to the other banks. When closing Triodos did not close the account properly, so after a few months a payment was accepted to my old account. Had contact but is still waiting for my money.

I am extremely satisfied with this bank. You really have to make an effort to prove that you are running a sustainable business to be admitted, and that gives you confidence. That should not be easy either. You also get people on the phone who are genuinely interested in you as an entrepreneur and consumer. Their internet banking website and app work perfectly. A bank that wants to help you run a successful (or sustainable) business and helps you find the way to financing. (you have to do it yourself). Highly recommended, and not even from the lower price.

Transferring money takes far too long. Triodos to ING in the weekend is not possible must wait until Monday morning until the money is in your account. Slow and awkward. Pay traffic from N26 is faster than Triodos. I am disappointed.

No chance!!!!!! I have to pay 12% interest for a checking account that I cannot and apparently can cancel, my mother receives no paper statements, but also no e-mails, she is on hold for 15+ minutes. We are leaving here and I also advise against all my Triodos connections despite excellent returns of 14%. All sustainability in a lot, but I think customer-friendliness is more important. Immediately back to THE bank. Thanks!

Weird, try to withdraw money. According to Triodos, this is possible at a Rabobank machine up to 1250 euros per day. Unfortunately Rabobank is moving to a new type and there is a maximum of 250 euros. Called the Triodos, who says casually, yes we are negotiating (?) And you have to look for an old Rabobank cash machine yourself. What a bad service, just for sustainability I am at Triodos, but does it have to be accompanied by such bad service? The identifier is also super poor and the app has been completely copied from ING. Well, sustainability is certainly not possible in a customer-friendly manner.

Great idea. Terrible customer service. You will need manual forms for everything, they will not recognize your passport and will close you for a few weeks without a glance. Don't count on getting things done quickly! Strong app and site clearly have no priority (you will receive an "identifier"). Other modern sofas are much stronger here.

A perfect sofa does not exist because there are no perfect people. This applies to any organization. If you want to save money ethically, for me Triodos, and ASN perhaps, is the only option for me. Saving my money is good ... I can live on it and I don't have to do more and more in which only numbers indicate my balance. I want my deposited money to be put to good use, that for me is sharing in my prosperity. I have enough.....
