This is a very beautiful and busy tourist attraction that still has daily masses today.
Kinda spooky in my opinion...the graves are really old...and looked as if some tombs were being moved?? Construction going on all around...the trees looked black...very interesting place to see...wouldnt want to be a member tho!
A great historic landmark not to miss while on a walking tour of the financial district in New York. We visited here on a cool morning and it wasn't crowded. The architecture of this beautiful building catches our eyes from far away. Grand from outside and grand from inside. It's really decorated and maintained very well. Such a peaceful place to be at amongst the hustle and bustle of the busy city of New York. We were here for about half an hour but someone can spend more time based on how much leisure they have. Would like to visit again and spend some more time there.
Beautiful old architectural building located opposite wall street, in lower Manhattan. Must see if you are there.
This church is amazing. Great history & architecture.
Historic landmark. Take a walk through the cemetery...interesting.
This is the church of Benjamin Gates! To see for movie fans!
I was a night school student at Pace College nearby in 1967. I had been going to college for over 7 years and found myself despairing of the progress I was making. I was to the point where I was depressed and thinking of giving up my dream. One day I decided to visit Trinity to find a place to contemplate my situation and it was a life altering decision. I had attended Catholic Churches but turned away from their teachings because they did not reach my soul.
Anyway, when I went to Trinity Church I found a sense of calm and acceptance that I had never felt. I stayed there for an hour and when I left I felt a renewed spirit that guided me to continue to fight for my dream. I graduated from Pace and was able to live a life that has been fulfilling. Nothing has been perfect, as it is for most of us but that spark that I got from meditating at Trinity Church changed my. I never returned but the experience has been with me to this day.
I love this place. Beautiful Episcopal Church with incredible history and some seriously notable permanent residents. Hamilton and Schuyler are probably the current most popular draw, but a number of other notables including loads of revolutionary war, continental Congress and declaration signing. It's been rebuilt a couple times and, in addition to early US history had been central in events of the recent past like 9/11 and Occupy. Definitely worth a visit!
The music program at Trinity is among the best in New York City. It s often free check their website for details. The church s history and architecture combine to make it a cultural Must See for visitors and residents alike. The services are beautiful, the sermons tend to be enlightening liberal, progressive Christianity at its best.
From the Architectural view its a very nice piece of architecture
Great view. Very tasty food. Staff were very helpful with choice of meals.

Was only able to see a tiny chapel. The church was being renovated. Nice peaceful graveyard. The architecture of the outside was amazing.
It's better because it's quiet, and it's a good place to rest and listen.
The stained glass was really pretty.
They allowed us to visit only chapel not the Church
Beautiful historic church - John Hamilton buried in the adjacent cemetery.
An amazing church, an antique wonder in downtown NYC! Famous people are buried here, and inside the church you can see amazing works of art, stained glass and antique murals! It's very humbling to be in the church. They have done a really nice job keeping the building in perfect shape while allowing visitors to come through. We loved it!
Beautiful Gothic type architecture inside and out. First time visiting the cemetery portion as the rest of the building was closed for construction. There are some interesting and old stones in the yard. Definitely one of the historic landmarks you want to visit when in NYC.
The history alone is incredible. Beautiful architecture.
Beautiful church, the perfect place to grab a few minutes of peace and quiet from the busyness of New York City. The architecture is amazing.
We went the good night mass. Before, choirs and live music. It is not Roman Catholic, but it is quite similar ...
I think I only saw about 5% of the church building today
Nice church with simple decoration. It is heated so go there in winter to ger warm.
A beautiful example in the central region but is under construction and the visitation restricted to a tiny chapel.
Very beautiful stained glass. Unable to see Hamiltons grave up close due to construction.
Beautifully preserved, feels out of place in the canyons of lower Manhattan
Historic and beautiful church with attached graveyard with famous burials. Closed for renovations in August 2019, the side chapel was open to visitors.
It was in New York City, between places I have visited the #leg #eklektikusabb experience!
Nice sanctuary in the middle of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Fair amount of tourists, so the earlier you go the better.
I went in November and the central part was being repaired, you only have access to the small side chapel.
A great stop in a walking tour of the financial district. Take a moment and visit Alexander Hamilton's grave. High marks for history and affordability. (It is free to walk through the graveyard)
Sadly disappointed that this location of the finale of National Treasure had zero treasure there. ZERO!
Incredible is in the middle of the great buildings and avenues there are very old tombs of the 18th century it is incredible
Beautiful. Have to see. The architectures mixed in with modern it's just absolutely beautiful
Beautiful church and grounds. One of the last
sites left of old New York City. Make sure
To see all the historic grave sites. Feeling nostalgic after your visit? Go to Fraunces Tavern on pearl st after for a bite and some drinks.
One among the many beautiful churches Manhattan has.
Came to pay my respect to Alexander Hamilton love all the history here
