A great historic landmark not to miss while on a walking tour of the financial district in New York. We visited here on a cool morning and it wasn't crowded. The architecture of this beautiful building catches our eyes from far away. Grand from outside and grand from inside. It's really decorated and maintained very well. Such a peaceful place to be at amongst the hustle and bustle of the busy city of New York. We were here for about half an hour but someone can spend more time based on how much leisure they have. Would like to visit again and spend some more time there.

I was a night school student at Pace College nearby in 1967. I had been going to college for over 7 years and found myself despairing of the progress I was making. I was to the point where I was depressed and thinking of giving up my dream. One day I decided to visit Trinity to find a place to contemplate my situation and it was a life altering decision. I had attended Catholic Churches but turned away from their teachings because they did not reach my soul.

Anyway, when I went to Trinity Church I found a sense of calm and acceptance that I had never felt. I stayed there for an hour and when I left I felt a renewed spirit that guided me to continue to fight for my dream. I graduated from Pace and was able to live a life that has been fulfilling. Nothing has been perfect, as it is for most of us but that spark that I got from meditating at Trinity Church changed my. I never returned but the experience has been with me to this day.

I love this place. Beautiful Episcopal Church with incredible history and some seriously notable permanent residents. Hamilton and Schuyler are probably the current most popular draw, but a number of other notables including loads of revolutionary war, continental Congress and declaration signing. It's been rebuilt a couple times and, in addition to early US history had been central in events of the recent past like 9/11 and Occupy. Definitely worth a visit!

The music program at Trinity is among the best in New York City. It s often free check their website for details. The church s history and architecture combine to make it a cultural Must See for visitors and residents alike. The services are beautiful, the sermons tend to be enlightening liberal, progressive Christianity at its best.

An amazing church, an antique wonder in downtown NYC! Famous people are buried here, and inside the church you can see amazing works of art, stained glass and antique murals! It's very humbling to be in the church. They have done a really nice job keeping the building in perfect shape while allowing visitors to come through. We loved it!

Wow.

Beautiful Gothic type architecture inside and out. First time visiting the cemetery portion as the rest of the building was closed for construction. There are some interesting and old stones in the yard. Definitely one of the historic landmarks you want to visit when in NYC.

A great stop in a walking tour of the financial district. Take a moment and visit Alexander Hamilton's grave. High marks for history and affordability. (It is free to walk through the graveyard)

Sadly disappointed that this location of the finale of National Treasure had zero treasure there. ZERO!

Beautiful church and grounds. One of the last

To see all the historic grave sites. Feeling nostalgic after your visit? Go to Fraunces Tavern on pearl st after for a bite and some drinks.
