wow - right next to our hotel - in the middle between the skyscrapers - a super small church - we were immediately invited to the service by the pastor. Absolutely impressive.

Ancient and solemn church
After visiting Wall Street and the Statue of Liberty, you can take a look.
Sitting here resting and meditating
Beautiful church, with a historic cemetery next door. The church has restrooms if you can't find any in the area.
gorgeous ~~!! and It's surprising to be between the tall buildings
Beautiful church inside. The cemetery is a great place to walk around and see the amazing people who are buried there (including Alexander Hamilton, Eliza and Angelica Schuyler, Philip Hamilton, and more). There was a children's choir singing the national anthem in the courtyard - made for a wonderful experience all around.
Very old church on Broadway, facing (the west side of) Wall Street, this church has appeared in numerous movies due to its location as so many films are shot on WS. This is probably one ot the oldest churches in New York, and they still have many tombstones in the adjacent yard, some from centuries ago, and some from famous men. A very peaceful location if you want a break from the sea of business people and tourists constantly drifting.
One of the few New Yorkers who haven't realize the significance of such a sacred place...I was amazed at the feeling that came over me standing there right in front of it #godisgoodeveryday
Couldn't go in, and construction going on outside it
Incredibly great embedded in the middle of the skyscrapers.
Absolutely magnificent how it seems submerged by the surrounding modern buildings We were visiting and almost missed it, and possibly would have, if not for a kind passerby that overheard we were looking for it! The graves outside and around the church are a MUST see! Inside is breathtaking. This was the highlight of my 14 yr. old daughters trip to NYC.
Beautiful facility that also has markers on important graves. I recommend! Free admission, easily accessible, and clean bathrooms.
Historic place in NYC, I went to visit the place where the first US treasury secretary is buried ... Alexander Hamilton !!!
We only visited the cemetery, coming from Wall Street it seems a surreal place. Pleasant to turn and quiet, for some buried characters there is a brief biography in English.
Juxtaposition of old and modern in contemporary environment.. Enjoy!
This is another favorite in NYC. How it survived 911 without a scratch is a miracle.
Very gorgeous architectural design and historical place.
There's a very unique part to the story of Trinity church
Make sure to visit while in the area. Home to final resting place of Alexander Hamilton.
Lived in NYC all my life and was there for the first time
I will be making a return visit.
Such a historical church building. Will always come back here..
Historic place in Manhattan. A cemetery with graves of more than 300 years at his side, Alexander Hamilton is buried here among other historical figures. It is the contrast between modernity and classic that makes this place something special.
Beautiful architecture in the narrow streets near Wall Street.
IVE LOVED THIS CHURCH SINCE I WAS A CHILD ...WITH PETER STUYVESTANT GOVERNOR OF NIEUW AMSTERDAM PREV 1664 DUTCH COLONIAL GOV.BURIED IN THE WALL...AND NOT TO MENTION THE HAMILTON FATHER AND SON PHILIP SCHUYLER HAMILTON DYING IN A DUEL AT PAULS NECK,NJ.IN 1801 justbTWO YEARS BEFORE HIS FATHER FIRST SECRETARY OF THE USVTREASURY AND NYC PROMINENT LAWYER ALEXANDER HAMILTON WAS FELLED BY A DUEL IN WEEHAWKEN ON THE NEW JERSEY PALISADES IN 1803 BY VICE PRESIDENT AARON BURR WHO TIED THOMAS JEFFERSON FOR THE PRESIDENCY SO CONGRESS DECIDED BY ONE VOTE IT WENT TO JEFFERSON....ALEXANDER HAMILTON WAS THE MAN BEHIND BURR NOT WINNING THE PRESIDENCY AND TAKING THE SECOND PLACE FINISH WHICH THEN MADE YOU THE VICE PRESIDENT....AND WHAT A MIRACLE IT SURVIVED SEPTEMBER 11TH 2001 CARNAGE WITH THE TWIN TOWERS TERRORIST ATTACK
Beautiful old church that is currently undergoing a renovation. The cemetery has gravestones from the 1700's but access will be limited starting Nov 4th due to the reno work.
Very old historical church at Manhattan attracts you while passing. Old traditions are alive.
Public transport available.
Foods for needy available. Wheelchair accessible
Everything about it was interesting. Cemetery filled with history
It was under destruction so very limit place for visitors
Beautiful church, too bad it was under renovation. While we were there, there was a much more interesting fire service than visiting the church.
A very quiet and relaxing place. I love the atmosphere.
A must visit when you wander around the World Trade Center and Wall Street. It is a beautiful church where you can relax and relax.
A beautiful church in the middle of a metropolis. If you're into your American history and a fan of the musical Hamilton, you'll love it here!
Very beautiful building. It was being repaired when we were there. Hard to get a good photo.
Historic church, it is undergoing extensive renovations now, but still worth a stop
Ancestors Helped Build Somewhere Around 1790 Grand AnD Beautiful . Right At Wall St . Under Renovation To 2020 But OPEN IN The Chapel & Lawns . St. Paul's Right Up The Block And May Be Visited Your Will Not Miss out . Busy Area Be Prepared A New York Adventure . And When Walking Through New York Crowded Areas Always Watch Your Pockets !
Beautiful building in the midst of new modern skyscrapers. Supposedly the church was at the attack 9/11 the only building in the quarter whose windows were not destroyed. I thought the sight was very impressive, because the church in the middle of the bustling Wall Street and the ultramodern buildings radiates a tranquility which if one takes a short time is absolutely transferred to the individual. If you pass the Trinity church, stop and enjoy the spectacular contrasting perspective.
Place that houses an incredible history, you must investigate and know it, it has a spectacular American cemetery.
It's a gorgeous church. A must see. I was disappointed with the lack of communication. We planned on going inside. The security told us to come back at 2. So we came back 2 and half hours later at 2:03p and they were closed for a private event. I wish we'd known that so we didn't waste time. Coming to New York is a once in a lifetime experience for us.
A Place to be closer to god,
Thanks Fr. Mark for your mercy
Impressive beautiful, a quiet oasis in the heart of NYC
Rare opportunity to visit a building other than a skyscraper.
View only from the outside. It is still very beautiful.
One of the favorite churches in Manhattan. Beautiful molding. And you can taste sacred atmosphere.
Church is currently under a massive renovation. Alexander Hamilton is buried here and the graveyard is an oasis of peace in the hectic NYC.
Not much to it. A church in the backstreets of New York City. Several early Americans were buried here, but besides that there is little of note.
The history and architecture is amazing. I loved everything about this Church.
New York's most famous church! It is very moving to hold charity events often!
Did not visit the interior but our tour guide was very knowledgeable.
beautiful site. There is a monument to Hamilton. It's worth knowing
A remarkable church, located just steps from the NY Stock Exchange. Stop them if you can it's worth a look. If you have the chance to spend during the Christmas holiday you have the pleasure to admire a nice crib!
Unique blessed old area ... interesting!! I love it!
