A nice church that does not quite fit in Wall Street picture. A quieter place, where you can sit down at the old cemetery. You can enter the church for free. The obligatory security check is also included.

Beautiful church so rich with history. Did you know you can find Alexander Hamilton's grave here? Did you know Columbia University started here? Well these are just two of the amazing facts you'll learn as you navigate this small but rich NYC landmark!

Trinity Church , located either on corners of Greenwich and Trinity, Trinity and Rector, and Rector and Wall, is literally and in my opinion definetly one of the most beautiful and majestic not only churches, but just locations, and especially architectural structures in not only Manhattan Island, not only New York City Metropolitan area, not only New York State and the TriState Metropolitan area, not only the northeastern United states, not only the north or eastern United states, and not only the United states, but one of the most majestic and beautiful architectural structures in North American and the Western Hemisphere. 5 stars

Alot of reviews, many mention HIStory behind it, yet forget to mention or comment about the slave labor of enslaved and/or Free Africans that played a HUGE role in erecting this Church let alone Wall Street, which orignally was built by Africans as well to help protect the Dutch from Indian raids (1653) whom were protecting their land. Food for Thought, Enjoy!

This is an awesome church tucked in the middle of Town I just happened to stumble across this place and learn a little bit about its history and it was very interesting to know this place has also been in a couple of movies it also has a cemetery on both sides and even a few more plots tucked in around and under the church this is an amazing place you should see if you're in town and have a couple hours to kill there are some very well-known buried here this place goes way back it is very interesting to look at the Tombstones as many of them are from the 1700 and 1800 hundreds it is very easy to spend a good couple of hours or so here they do close at 6 and it is also free when I was here they were doing interior renovation so you could not go inside the church if I'm ever back in town I would definitely stop here just to look at the inside and walk around in a few more times very interesting place enjoy yourself

Oldest church in the city. It is located in the center of the financial district. Unfortunately during our stay the church was closed due to renovation and therefore we could not admire the interior.

Beautiful church inside and out, a historical landmark in the financial district opposite to the Wall Street...on-going mass on weekday during lunch hours but still allowing tourists to go in. It is a warm, spiritual and welcoming church to me!

Beautiful old historic church and cemetery. Wandering around the cemetery is like stepping out of a busy street scene and visiting the past. Time stands still as your look at grave stones from 200+ years ago, imagining the families who stood mourning in the very spot you are standing.

Great to go with a tour group otherwise you may not know who might be the great man whose grave caught your eye due to the Freemason logo. It may change your mind about Freemasons for the better and you'll let others know how they have been mistold facts for years

This is church is beautiful and home to Alexander Hamilton's resting place. But also here is the oldest tombstone in New York City belonging to 5 year old Richard Churcher, and a grave to a fictional character Charlotte! Also keep an eye out for a ton with a secret Cuniform message!
