I attended an intensive outpatient group for about six weeks. The groups were run very well and I got a lot of positive feedback and help with my life situation. The counselors and staff were excellent.

I was resistant to the process at first but once I began going to the group therapy sessions I opened up & realized things about myself I had been repressing. My therapist Jamie was a huge part of that. I began to look forward to going to her sessions because she was so easy to openly express ourselves. She was everyone s favorite Therapy session. She was extremely helpful all the time even out of sessions she was available to speak with. Kudos to the process. Kudos to Jamie
I found my overall experience at this facility to be positive and very helpful. I am thankful to everyone there for their attention and concern for my wellbeing. One shortcoming was the intake process which requires a vast improvement.
Made an appointment for a family member and had barely stepped into the building before the receptionist yelled that they had no beds and couldn't help us and to come back tomorrow. Came back early in the morning and waited five hours only to be told that we shouldn't have been turned away at our previous appointment and they had given away the available beds to people who came after us, and on top of that they let us wait when they were filled up instead of informing us there was no more room. Extremely venerable people are here looking for help and the staff clearly cant be bothered to communicate. People who struggle with mental health and addiction deserve the same basic respect as anyone else and I think Triangle Springs would do well to remember that.
The people who gave positive reviews must be staff because this is no treatment facility. They only get a one because only a few staff were pleasant. They violate your state and federal rights and no individual therapy is given. This is more like a IVC racket to take your money when they have no reason to hold you. They should be closed down.
The front desk staff were unfriendly, uninviting, and kept staring at me and my relative, whom I was bringing there for outpatient services. It made him feel uncomfortable, and not want to receive services here. On top of that, he answered the questionnaire about symptoms he was having which were consistent with both covid and withdrawal, except that the he mentioned the symptoms had been intermittent for several months. Not just within the 3 week time span that would've possibly indicated this is something viral. On top of that he had a blood pressure of 170/112 (another withdrawal symptom). And the nurse still told him they can't see him until he comes back with a negative test. She was also insensitive and unclear in her instructions. I'm a nurse too, and I'm a advocate, this wasn't right. We will not be coming back to this place. I hope staff isnt always like this, and I hope others have a better experience than we did.
I gave it one star because I had to in order to post. My daughter had an appointment for 2 pm assessment. We waited until 3 and after asking was told running behind. Read the reviews sitting there realizing people had been waiting for 3 1/2 hours. The reviews are spot on. It was not nice experience and we left without help. This is not a way to treat people with a mental health crisis going on. They had all our paperwork and contact information and I had asked for a supervisor because Ashley at the front desk was one of the coldest people I've ever talked to. Zero compassion. If you hate it that bad, then quit. No one even called to check on her. Wow!! You guys can do better than this.
Do not go there if you actually need help. You would be better off checking into Holly Hill. And no do not comment on my review about being sorry this happened or to contact you to see how we can make this better. It shouldn't have happened to begin with. Psychiatric hospital, heavy name for a money pit. If you have a patient who clearly needs help, do not base assistance on financial capacity. Clearly people that need this place are in a crisis. Job loss, mental issues, substance abuse. And because I can't give you any money the first day I cannot attend your services? To pay for your stonework and cheap boxed lunch. Please just go to a meeting and leave this place be. I wouldn't pay even if I had the means to. The medical field is failing a large group of individuals that need them and this place is a blazing glory of an example. Disgusted.
If you love your family member do not send them to Triangle Springs. Triangle Springs is one of the worst mental health care facilities that I have ever been to. I witness abuse and I witness diabetic patients being denied food. I have a story to tell.
