I went in knowing what I was after, having had multiple email conversations with Mohammad (the Sales Consultant). Mohammad was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the vehicles we test drove and had also done his homework on what I wanted. Follow up post test drive was excellent. The sort of Sales Consultant you want... interested and engaged, but not pushy. If you're interested in this class of vehicle, it's definitely worth checking this dealership out.

Bought a 2015 c300 from Tri Star and it was amazing. Not only do they have the great preowned vehicles, the customer service is also absolutely phenomenal. Had concerns on the brakes a couple weeks after purchase but I live in Halifax. They actually sent a driver to the city all the way from Saint John, left me a loaner, and drove back to the dealership for inspection. Really great buying experience. The parts department is a nightmare the manager treats customers like a huge inconvenience. I was told multiple times that he was too busy to order parts.

We weren't even in the market for a vehicle, but when we saw the ad for a shiny used red Mercedes Coupe at a very reasonable price, we had to test drive it. Being new to the Mercedes brand, we had a lot of questions and they addressed them all thoroughly and patiently. They genuinely wanted us to be happy. Mercedes' certification of used vehicles is extremely thorough and as a result, we are not at all worried about any nasty surprises. All in all a very positive experience.
Spoke with Mohammad Syed about some pricing information on a car that I was interested in, he was very helpful and went above and beyond trying to meet my budget. I have had nothing but problems with this dealership since purchasing my car. I purchased a certified pre owned car
Problem 1- 4 months after I purchased the car the rear tires were destroyed by a bad wheel alignment. Dealer wouldn t fix alignment or help with tire problem. Tire quote was $500 more than my local tire shop for the same tires.
Problem 2 2-3 months after purchasing the car I noticed water was getting into the trunk when it rained or when driving in wet conditions. Dealer claimed main trunk hinge was bent and that I would have to take the car to an autobody shop to have fixed. Again they refused to fix the problem
Problem 3 In the fall for the first year there was a grinding/vibration with the right front suspension. Everyone including my wife and friends would ask me about the noise and vibration. I took the car to Tri Star again. Charged two labour for a road test and was told it was the winter tires. The noise was also there with the summer tires!! (dealer was aware problem existed with summer tires) Two months later took back for the same issue, two more hours of labour charged, no fix. Problem still exists
Problem 4 Second set of rear tires wore off vehicle. Dealer looked at problem said the car has a negative chamber setting to improve handling and this is normal for the make and model. Tires less than 40,000 kms.
Problem 5 Battery sensor failed. Destroyed battery. Car sat for a week until I called to see how things were coming with car. They had no ideal what was wrong with the car and they would have to look into the situation and get back to me. Called me back and blamed delay on the length of time it takes to get Mercedes parts( Mercedes dealer??) I received a bill for $941 to fix the problem. I asked why this was not covered by warranty and was told sensors were not covered. When I got home few days later I reviewed my ELW warranty only to find out that sensors were covered. I called dealer again I was told they would look into and get back to me. The response was yes indeed the sensor was covered under warranty however they could only reimburse $300 of the bill because it was to late for them to put the claim through warranty( why their mistake is my responsibility is beyond me) This is still not rectified
I was warned by a friend that the service at this dealership was very poor shortly after my purchase. He and his family have had several problems with the service department over the years. I decided that maybe this was a few isolated events and discounted the comments. Oh how I was wrong.

The sales staff are very knowledgeable friendly and efficient. This is a pet friendly building. The service dept. is staffed with 3 great mechanic technicians and 1 master mechanic who know everything about Mercedes vehicles.
I recently purchased a used BMW from Tri Star and the vehicle was very reasonably priced. After purchasing the car they realized the mvi had run out. They put the vehicle through an inspection and discovered there was some parts that needed to be replaced. They were very good about it and replaced the parts for me and I only needed to pay the inspection. This kind of service is almost unheard of in this day and age. The salesman Rick was amazing you deal with and his co worked Mark as well. I would highly recommend stopping in if you are in the market for a new car. I am beyond impressed and will certainly be making further purchases here

Our experience taking our Mercedes for service was disappointing to say the least. We took it in for an oil change and to change a bulb. The cost was $280.00, extremely overpriced. They scuffed and scratched the right front fender, left the defective bulb light on on the dash, washed the car without chamoising off the water resulting in water spots all over the car. The service compared to O'Regan's in Halifax is a one star compared to a 5 star. Thank you Granger MacPhail

Another amazing experience at TriStar ! Last year it was the sales team when we purchased our Mercedes. This time it is their service department. I was able to get an appointment quickly. TriStar staff are knowledgeable, friendly and take the time to drop by the waiting area and say hi ! Today I was visited by three different staff members. They even left cookies in the console for the trip home to PEI. Now that's 5 star treatment !

My confidence in Tristar and Mercedes Benz was reassured today. Some background info first; our 2015 GLK250 has been in service for weeks now with an engine problem that was a diagnostic challenge,the problem is now solved thanks to Jeremy,Justin and Greg but some parts are on backorder from Germany.Yesterday afternoon while driving our 2014 E350 a message was displayed that Distronic Plus,Presafe Braking and Active Lane Keeping were Inoperative! I called Tristar Service and spoke with Stephen who said he would have the problem looked into in the morning. Late this morning Stephen called with word that the problem was in the Radar software and that it was corrected and test driving confirmed that it now functioned normally. I picked up our E Class this afternoon and it had been expertly detailed to look like new! I must add that we have been supplied with a 2018 B250 loaner while our GLK has been in the Service Department. Three Cheers for Tristar Service Department !!! Richard Paxton

What a joke. Had a deal all agreed upon, put deposit down, got insurance. Just before picking up the car they then decide they want almost $5k down for the lease!! Total bait and switch.

Over the years I have delt with a majority of dealerships. I bought my very first Mercedes from Tristar in Saint-John and I cannot emphasize enough how excellent the entire staff is at not only Tristar SJ, but at the Moncton location inclusively. The service I received was like none other, they transform buying a vehicle into a seemless and furthermore, a stress free experience. What more can you ask for? They will go above and beyond and it shows very quickly.
