have bought three bikes from them, first time was great nice salesperson.
second one was good okay kinda.
third time when I came in after working in yard with old work cloths , a little rough. was treated very poorly like trash until i bought a third bike, . won't do it again shameful , I thought I'd try again , looking for new mountain bike , and yep same thing , if you look the least bit country you'll get little help or be treated like trash , no I didn't buy , I'll just look elsewhere

I just bought my first bike is almost 25 years!!! My previous TREK 9300 had served me well, but it was time to upgrade. I did a lot of research and settled on either the Wahoo or Marlin 29er. Even though it's on the other side of town from me, I visited Trek Bicycles of Mt. Pleasant several times to test ride and make the final decision. Alaina was extremely patient and helpful, confirming the differences between the models, fitting me to the right size bike, and letting me ride both of them many times. I settled on the Marlin, but they didn't have it in my size. "No problem", she said. They ordered that model in the right size for me, and had it built and ready to pick up in less than a week. Sarah was extremely helpful checking me out, and helped me pick out a few accessories that they gave me at 10% off as a THANK YOU for purchasing the bike. Kevin took all my old components (clipless pedals, trip computer, etc.) from my old bike and installed them on the new one for free! There's a great empty parking lot behind the store for test riding. Kevin made sure I took the new bike for several spins out back to make sure it was set up exactly the way I wanted. Ben, the owner, even came out and thanked me for the business. That night I went for a 20-mile ride and FELT LIKE A KID AGAIN!!! The new bike is lightyears better than my old one...so smooth and efficient...with better ergonomics from the new frame geometry. I know I made the right decision with this bike, and with Trek Bicycles of Mt. Pleasant!!! I'll be taking their free class on learning how to maintain your bike. And I'm certainly a customer for life!!!

This store is staffed with professionals! Buying a bike, getting repairs, this team knows what they're doing and when I lived there, I never thought about bringing my bikes anywhere else.

Shaun was knowledgeable, helpful and informative. My maiden voyage here and I plan to make this my go-to for all things bicycle related. Highly recommend.

I love the Electra loft I purchased and the customer service was superb! The bike I wanted was not in the store but was shipped from the warehouse and ready for pickup two days later. Sean did such a great job of fitting me with the right bike and helping me equip add-ons that were most suitable for my needs. I would highly recommend to anyone who is in the market for a new bike, can not beat the customer service!

Bit disappointed. I had called prior to making a visit to this store, I ask what the labor rate for an hour was?, I was asked what I was looking for, I said I have a crank I want taken off. Gave info on bike, and what was actually (the exact part) to be removed. I removed everything but the sprocket side of the crank. I was told is was a case by case basis. I ask again, do you have an hourly rate for labor as I have some other things that need to be addressed, I was told; Not really. I ask if it was a case by case quote, I was told yes. So my next question was, i need to bring the bike to you, you tell me what it will cost to fix and that is it? He said yes.
Not sure about another consumer, but if you can't give me a ballpark (about something self explanatory) and go by a case by case basis with no hourly shop or business rate?......all I can say is I wish mechanic shops were this vague on what labor rate was so I wouldn't waste my, or others time. Thanking you in advance for your professionalism, which is disturbing to a new customer and consumer. Have a great day.
Went to Mikes bikes and wasn't even charged to remove a pedal and bought a tool for later installation.

This Trek store is not my nearest option but I am happy to make the drive simply because their level of customer service is above par. When purchasing my new bike associates helped me to make an informed decision on the one I purchased, instead of just selling me what was newest and most expensive. They are friendly and address you by your name instead of just sir/ma'am. We appreciate this team and will do business here every time we have bike needs.

Jacob was amazing! As a professional he was very good at communicating his knowledge to a total newbie but also helping me find just the right fit without making us feel rushed at all. I was so impressed with the cleanliness and health protocols at the store yet the experience felt personal and special - it was a highlight for me AND I absolutely love my bike... and the pedals, and gloves and lights! The staff at Trek Mt. Pleasant is very knowledgeable and took the time to properly fit my 13yo daughter for her new Road bike. As a triathlete, her bike fit is VERY important and they took multiple measurements to be sure that she was comfortable and aerodynamic!

We are novice bikers; older, who has not ridden in several years. It was exciting to learn about new technology and various comfort and style options that are now available. My husband and I entered the store and quickly became overwhelmed by the multitudes of choices. We were approached by a young gentleman named Henry. He was amazing in his approach to determine what we were looking for. He had us try out various types of bikes until we narrowed down our choice to the Trek Verve 2. Shawn, then entered the conversation to provide more in-depth information about the product itself, technology, warranty and his personal experience. He was an unbelievable and valuable asset to us as a customer and to the business he works for. We left the store feeling confident in our choice but felt it was prudent to do our own due diligence. After several days of visiting other local bike stores and Dicks we quickly realized that inventory, product options and service could not compare to what we experienced at Mt P's Trek Bicycle Store.We returned to the store, spoke with Tom the store manager. He spent time with us reviewing the information we had gathered. He helped to ensure and provide confidence in our decision to purchase the Verve 2. The entire store acts a team who continually support each other and more importantly the customer walking thru the door. We were impressed by the no pressure sales and remain humbled by the education and knowledge we acquired through the entire process. We now know there is more to buying a bike than the quality of product itself; it must include the reputation and commitment of the people who will stand behind that product in the years ahead. We are extremely grateful for Henry, SHAWN, Chris and Tom. The time they took with us demonstrated their investment in their customers. We would of course recommend this store to anyone interested in in making a self-assured bike purchase.

Had a great experience here, and ended up getting a Roscoe 7. I came in two different times and really enjoyed chatting with the staff about how much the technology has changed in mountain bikes. Everyone I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable.

Will never do business with them again. Bought a $1200 bike from them. Went back and looked at another $500 bike for a gift. Peddles were falling off bike my bicycle which had less than 1000 miles on it. When I pointed this out, they said theses were entry level peddles and really weren t worth anything and should just be taken off and replaced...on a $1200 bike. Being in retail for over 30 years, I thought you tried to work with the customer. Instead I got a bunch of pushback on how most people replace those petals. Having bought bikes for 45+years I have never had to replace the petals before.

I just received my bike helmet from here and I am over the moon. Let me back up... I purchased an Electra Bike from my local bike store since it was available in stock back in April. Love it! Over the last several months I have been searching off and on for a coordinating helmet (in my size... a small)p p and even checked out just ordering it directing from Trek Bike website which I couldn't find or order from (it kept directing me to my local store which I did go to and yet they couldn't order!) what I was looking for. As frustrated as I was I began searching high and low to find what I was hoping for at any bike store that would be willing to ship out of state to me. Lo and behold I found exactly what I wanted here! Far from me, yet in stock and they sent it out quickly. I am just so happy, thank you so much!!!

I got my new e-bike yesterday. Love it!! Sam was a great help in the store for figuring out what accessories I needed. He was also helpful with what bike rack I should get. I highly recommend this store.

I called about a week in advance of dropping off our flat tires and the person who answered was very friendly and helpful and could tell by the couple min chatting with him that he seemed to truly enjoy his job and helping people. When we finally brought our tires in we could tell it was no different in person. The customer service was top notch, super quick and they know what they're talking about! Highly recommend and we'll be back for those rear road tires. Thanks for the assistance!
