Tre-Ysgawen Hall Review

Had a fantastic time, really lovely hotel and food, great to have the choice of two restaurants to suit all budgets.
We had an amazing room with a huge four poster bed and views of the gardens.
The spa was one of the best we've been to, had a lovely spa treatment, which was great value due to a 20% offer on the day of our stay.
The staff were lovely and helpfull throughout the hotel. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well worth a look around, we were even lucky enough to spot a red squirrel!

Attended for a funeral tea. The refreshments were of good quality and the staff were pleasant.

The staff were amazing. Spa is great, but a shame it closes early on Sunday.

The room was very old and tattered. And also not clean. The price was preposterous for a poor room like that. On the website everything looks great, but the pictures must be 15 years old.

Wonderful staff, great spa facility (trouble finding suitable time for a treatment but I guess that means it's popular!), Lovely room and glorious surroundings! I would definitely book again without hesitation! My only niggle was that the staff in the restaurant could be a touch more attentive... But nothing major :-) The hotel is quiet, well managed, well kept and the spa area including pool was quiet on my visit.

Myself and my wife recently stayed here for the bank holiday weekend. Can honestly say I have never been so relaxed. The Spa was amazing but best of all was the service especially from Nia & Aziz nothing was too much trouble.

Unusual hotel spoiled by issues in the dining room. Hopefully since sorted!

Gorgeous period property with lovely gardens and wood walks. Great for Sunday lunch.

Beautiful setting and grounds. Could be updated inside but other than that very nice.

The head chef when i complained about the standard of food was arrogant self opinionated and claiming to be a michelin chef sorry far from it tasted better in McDonalds portions disgusting presentation disgusting

Nice meal, expected better from what I've heard about here from others. The meal was nice I'm not saying it wasn't but it wasn't anything special either.

Had a spa day with my sister in law- staff were helpful & kind; and treatments were amazing. I had an hour long facial which was so relaxing. There were a few negatives though; like the ciabatta we had with lunch were so hard we couldn't bite into them; the pool was too cold! And the room you wait in for your treatment was absolutley freezing. I was shivering! There was one electric heater in there but it just wasn't producing any heat. I would definitely go again because the treatments were so good- but I would hope the heating would have been sorted by then!

A super break for my birthday. The weather was good hich helped but to return from coastal walks to relax in the spa area was magnificent. We have had wseveral breaks in spa hotels but your spa area and pool are the best by far. We will be back.

My husband bought me a full-day treatment for my birthday this past Friday, Aug 11. Sadly I was involved in a car accident this past week and could not attend. He called the spa when he could, which fell inside the 24hr notice policy and received a thank-you for passing the information along and that's it. No offer to re-book, nothing at all.

I understand how cancellation policies work and how you would want to hold people responsible for making an appointment so no time gets wasted. However, I'd like to think that in scenarios that are beyond your control that there's the potential to change a booking, even for a notional fee, depending on a case-by-case circumstance.

The day spa treatment sounded very nice and I was really looking forward to it but not for another full cost to attend.

Tripped across this place when couldn't find anywhere to stay in Holyhead. Very friendly helpful staff, nice, huge, comfortable room. Chef cooked breakfast for us even though kitchen wasn't yet open and amazing house.

This is the fourth time we have visited the Hall. It is a beautiful country house over 100 years old so yes, it is a bit shabby in places but we will all be a bit shabby if and when we reach a hundred!
Comfy, clean and just wonderful. Thank you so much for a lovely hidden gem. We dined in Noelles restaurant and had a fabulous meal. Everything was just perfect including service which was a bit rocky last visit. Improvement noted.

We went for a spa session and afternoon tea. Spa is now rather dated and needs some money invested in it. The afternoon tea was excellent with great service.

Beautiful grounds with fantastic views service was amazing, food could be improved but was still of excellent quality. With a little improvement this place would be perfect.

Staff were lovely. Couple of minor details let it down. The spa is good. Would recommend and will most likely go back.

Lovely hotel with a nice male Welsh choir performing whilst we were staying. Lovely spa and grounds. Excellent food in the restaurants too!

I had a wonderful time performing here for the hotel. The venue provided me with a room deuring my performance as a changing room and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were incredibly kind and the grounds are spectacular. The food is always superb.

A little in the middle of nowhere, but that's part of the charm! Efficient staff, lovely library and amazing grounds. Couldn't see a red squirrel though!

Beautiful place. Had an event in one of the halls and it was such a lovely place. Catering was wonderful.

Very nice hotel with amazing restaurant! Bed was a bit hard bit all in all a nice place.

Lovely building, lunch at the conference was a bit sparse, although what was there was really tasty
