Guys, please do not go for this. I bought Safe Travels plan for my mom when she visited USA. This company has not even settled a single claim.
Its been more than 4-5 months but no progress.

I am still thinking why did I opt this insurance.

Needed to buy a travel medical policy to comply with VISA entry requirements for an upcoming trip to Turks and Caicos. Can't speak to the claim process because we haven't traveled and hopefully don't have the need for one! But I can tell you these guys are on top of it when it comes to foreign travel during COVID. Some countries are requiring SPECIFIC language in policies that indicate they cover COVID related illnesses in order to generate a tourist VISA. Trawick automatically generates a VISA letter stating this coverage to government entities.

Nice peace of mind knowing the policy was written by a reputable company like Nationwide and the rate for a week of coverage was really competitive.

I used to be able to talk with my agent directly now all I get is a recording that all agents are busy and to contact my agent directly which I can t because I got the same recording. There is nothing worse than putting your faith in a company to be there for you when you were traveling only to have them disappear and be totally unresponsive. My travel has been interrupted due to COVID-19 and when you need to speak to your travel insurance company the most they are not there for you. It s best not to put any faith in this company I am highly disappointed.They have taken my money but won t take my calls now I am uninsured while traveling due to travel interruption.Thanks for nothing

I recently brought travel insurance for my in-law. he got ear pain during the visit we went to doctor for the same and submitted the required documents with records. They didnt pay any of the doctors visit and when I enquired they said it was denied because of preexisting condition. In the Medical records it clearly indicates that there is no issues in the past.
I am not sure whether they really read those records and process it. when I called them they said I have to Appeal again and it will take 6-10 weeks to process. Also mentioned that it wont overturn to Insurance for most of the case.

We will not know their real face until we submit the claims. Please dont buy from here.

And they wont respond to negative reviews as well...

This "insurance" does NOT cover you in costa rica. This "insurance" will not answer your phone calls or questions. You will not get into central America with this horrible insurance. FAKE INSURANCE!!!!! NO BUENO!!!!!! RUN AWAY. SCAM SCAM SCAM !!!!!!!!
