I would give zero stars if I could. They've never been any help in any situation...

How about a working website? Is that too much to ask. I know you re unable to uphold the law to illegal aliens, can t do anything about the over run homeless camps, answer the phones or return messages. But atleast have a working website so we don t have to hassle your phone operators whom all should be fired anyway for the way they talk to the public. Remember who pays your salary s.

It's sad how people hate the police when they do their job and when they need them they get angry they don't show up fast enough

I work with the undocumented community and with women and families affected by domestic violence. If we want the people in our communities to report criminal activity, and cooperate with police in criminal investigations they must feel safe enough to do so. Imagine you are eye witness to criminal activity you would like to report but doing so means you may never see your grandchildren again. The police are not immigration enforcement, their job is to keep people safe. I applaud Sheriff Hernandez for trying to create a safe community where everyone who needs the police can reach out for them. This keeps communities safe for everyone including those who were born here but are descended from immigrants.

Sanctuary Sally is going to cost you buffoons a lot of money. Wake up!!!!

Travis County Sheriff Dept. Internal Affairs staff get to show up to work around 10am & still leave at 4:30 - 5:00pm! Huh? That's not full time hours yet they're considered full time employees. Don't bother getting anything accomplished with Travis County Sheriff Dept because they could not care less about the people they're suppose to be serving. They think taxpayers serve them. Yuk.

She needs to be fired she is no good for the u.s. she doesn't stand for the law's of this country.

Yesterday I lost control of my car while driving at Southwest Pkwy, right out of 71.
For a few seconds, I didn't think I was going to make it, and the guilt of leaving my family for such a silly mistake was almost as bad as the fear from the pain or worst that I saw coming my way.
Today is my birthday, and I'm hurt and bruised, but in one piece. I have a lot to celebrate! Not only I'm still here, but I didn't hurt anyone nearby my accident.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the angels that came to my help. Strangers that were driving by and stopped to help me, comfort me, call 911 and my husband. I don't know their names, which is why I'm posting this to the public and not to my private friend's lists.

I also wanted to thank Travis-County EMS, Travis County Sr. Deputy Tim Williams and team that got so fast there to help me out of my car and take me to South Austin Hospital. The team at South Austin was very caring and efficient.

Sorry if I forgot anyone. I was pretty shaken-up yesterday.

I hope I can give back all the support and kindness I got yesterday in my lifetime.
God bless all my guarding angels.

As a citizen of Travis County, I am angry and disappointed that Sheriff Hernandez feels it more important to protect aliens than the citizens she swore to support and serve. Very poor performance.

They stole my vehicle out of my driveway and covered up the evidence, something must be done about them!!!!

"Sheriff" Hernandez is nothing short of a disgrace and a hypocrite. Your oath of office and your JOB are to enforce the law you honorless vermin. Im a retired LEO and I had to enforce many laws I didnt agree with. I didnt like it, and I didnt agree with it. But I signed on the job and took the oath. I was bound by honor and integrity to keep that oath. Evidently "Sheriff" Hernandez doesnt. But then again shes not a cop atall. She couldnt be. She lacks the guts and the integrity to be one. Shes merely another filthy politician hiding behind a uniform and a badge. Wanna prove me wrong? You have two alternatives. Shut your damn mouth and enforce the law....ALL of em, not just the ones you agree with. Or, in the alternative, if your conscience wont allow for it, do the right thing and resign. Im bettin you wont do either. Youre a disgrace Hernandez.

I live in Wells Branch and have called on the Travis County Sheriffs a couple of times. Reported suspicious activity and person in danger. Both times had an excellent response from the department. Happy these guys and gals protect our neighborhood.

My landlord's apartmeny manager Kristina Thompson was telling my neighbors I was dealing heroin and meth at Skyline Terrace Ben White & Bannister. I wrote Thompson's supervisor Kristy Bowers that her manager Cristina Thompson was lying about me and said she was gonna evict me after she filled my file w lease violations.

Kristy Bowers said I was lying in a letter where she told like 6 lies she knew were lies. Including that they were not trying to evict me. This was April, 2013.

They were calling the cops every day according to TCSO deputy Christopher Douglas who came with his undercover SWAT Kevlar vest clad squad to raid my apartment in Sept. 5, 2013. They put pistols in my face and shove me to the ground yelling "where's the heroin where's the meth we know everything don't lie." These Travis County sheriffs office deputies did not bring a warrant they said they had one out in the car that I asked for three times and they never showed me one instead they had me sign a consent to search form which I gladly did. They search for about three minutes and found nothing. No merh no heroin no scales or baggies that a dealer would have. Not even personal use amounts of those or any other drugs.

A clause in my lease said that if I was arrested for dealing that I could be evicted. And I was. The criminal case was never indicted for two years. As soon as they jazz the Grand jury up about an indictment they wrote one up that was worse than the nonsense written on the warrant.

The prosecutor could not get in touch with the deputy or verify the confidential informant even existed let alone whether it was a man or a woman. They arrested me for selling 10 5 mg Valium pills to an undercover informant. Oh and it was 10 weeks after they said I did so and they used marked money to buy the pills. Ten weeks later I am suoposed to have marked bills?

So I acquired the sheriffs investigation notes that said that they had me under surveillance for months. So me the heroin meth dealer they arrested for a 10 week Old sale of 5 mg Valium to an undercover informant? What about the heroin And meth and the months of surveillance? BS

As soon as the prosecutor got the indictment from the grand jury and looked into it he or she decided he/ she did not want to try this case and my court-appointed attorney told
him/her I would accept no plea bargain only a dismissal. They dismissed forthwith.

Now when the statute runs on September 5 I will be able to expunge the arrest. And the judge in the eviction appeal said he would throw out the eviction fees and judgment if I brought him the expungement. This because Christina Thompson in front of a court reporter blurted out that I had date raped a very close friend of mine, given him heroin to make him sexually available. This outrageous lie which had never been aired in my eviction case got Christina Thompson and her lawyer William S Warren a great glare from the judge who said that he found that line of talk extremely
irrelevant and then told me he would throw out the case when I brought in the expungement. That I didn't even have to draft an order he said he would have his clek draft it.

Thompson is now the manager of Capitol Studios downtown. Her supervisor Kristy Bowers has moved on to Keller Williams. And their overlord Julian Huerta deputy director of foundation communities is still in that job as is Walter Moreau Who makes about just short of $200,000 a year to rough up the homeless and poor who are their residents.

I imagine Travis County sheriffs office make themselves available to roust the Foundation residents whenever they're called. When did public peace officers become private Pinkerton security for oligarchical corporations? Foundation communities is an evil evil empire. Travis County sheriffs office are there go to bully boys. Shame on you Travis County sheriffs office!

I was driving home with my boat from Decker Lake a couple of weeks ago, and I was stopped at a light. Out of no where, I was violently rear ended. The driver of the truck that hit me turned out to be an illegal alien with no insurance and no driver's license. He was also obviously intoxicated. Officer Taylor of the TCSD was at the scene as well as the fire department. During his investigation of the accident, the other driver's truck started rolling towards everyone on the side of the road. The driver had not put it in park in the 15 minutes before the authorities arrived. One of the firemen had to jump in the truck to stop it before it hit someone or something again.

The officer assured me that the man would be arrested, and I limped away from the scene with my outboard, trailer, and boat all destroyed. The next day after calling the sheriff's department, I discovered that the man had in fact not been arrested. He had simply been issued a citation and sent on his way to crash into people, cars, boats, or whatever happens to be in front of his vehicle next time.

I later spoke with the officer's supervisor who told me that everything was performed correctly by the department. "It is not their job to arrest uninsured, unlicensed, illegal alien drivers who cause bodily injury to tax paying citizens or destroy their property"

My boat is now destroyed. I have nothing to go on as far as the identity of the driver except a name which is most likely fake. The citations that he was written will probably never be paid because there is no way to verify who they were written to. The man is out there on the streets still driving around without an ounce of responsibility for his actions. Who can blame him if this is the kind of justice our officers, who are sworn to protect us, carry out in Travis County. Next time it could be someone's child who is plowed over.

Who does Sally Hernandez represent, it certainly does not seem to be the legal, tax paying citizens of this county. Thanks to her political views, citizens will suffer by under funded police services, are we trying to become like Chicago?

I called for something that had to deal with a Travis county sheriff and an attorney and this lady I spoke with kept telling me, "what do you want me to do" very disrespectful and when I had told her the attorney I was trying to reach wasn't in service anymore. Honestly it was like she wasn't listening! She kept repeating "then call her, this does not concern us" and I'm like "ma'am, it basically does and that's exactly what I am saying; she is no longer an attorney so I don't know who am I suppose to reach and this does regard y'all" and she replies, "ma'am I don't know what you want me to do this doesn't involve us" !!!??? Like what in the world?! I highly recommend if I could have I would have asked for her supervisor! Lack of communication skills!

It is NOT Sally's job to enforce EXCLUSIVELY the laws that she AGREE's with ...... do y'all see how dangerous this is? 39 illegal law breakers released back into our neighborhoods in one month Regardless of your position on illegal immigration we do not want to protect criminals in our once safe neighborhood's. It's outrageous & she should be recalled.

They were very gentle when they handcuffed me even though the handcuffs were a little tight they were very professional also, 4 out of 5 stars just because the squad car wasn't that comfortable but overall they provided great transportation services will get arrested by them again for sure

Sherriff does not comply with the law. Saw her on TV. 4-atar General costume and all. She must think she is the chairman of the JCS or something! What an idiot!

I just called TSO and got two insanely rude women. I called as I was concerned about the fire works going into the trees and catching on fire as there is a burn ban. The first one lied to me saying there was no burn ban. The second one said that while there is a burn ban fireworks are not included with a super snotty attitude after I told her I knew that the First Lady had lied to me. My husband is a firefighter... sure wished TSO career about my husbands safety and the prevention of fire spred.

Sheriff Sally Hernandez, do your damn job and protect the American citizens, Stop protecting illegal alien rapists and drug dealers !!!!
