Woman at the front desk was great. Room was old and dated. The room is "changed out" not cleaned (dirty vents, smudges on walls, dirty shower curtain) TV didn't work well. The room worked for a business trip with flight issues.
This Travelodge has one of the best continental breakfasts I've ever eaten. They have all you can ask for.
Rooms are horrible, filthy carpets , furniture is old and stained. There is trash and broken TV sets in the corridors. Afraid to sleep in the bed. Do not recommend this place to anyone, will never stay here again!

As soon as we walked in it smelt like weed,there was a joint on top of the door, blood stains by the trash can and on the shower curtain. Roaches, stains on the pillows, and it looks like no one came in to clean it before we came in. Never coming here again! It was not a pleasant stay and not clean at all.
Easy to drive for diner. Called ahead and told staff we would arrive very, very late. Room was ready and nice and cold, very clean and comfortable, just the way we liked. Such a great staff and excellent service. Free continental breakfast was even better! Enjoyed our stay, and will come to this hotel when in Houston.
Loved how roomy the room was & staff was great! TV was large & it had a great channel lineup including HBO & Spanish and other premium channel. Good value for overnight stay for airport. Pool, perfect, very clean and comfortable! Close to the airport, shuttle service was cool. Will come back again do like to recommend others.

Cheap and nasty. Room not clean, bedding stained. Furnishings old and not a straight lamp shade in the place. Bathroom door difficult to close. Kids in room above running wild at eleven pm at night and thumping on floor. Air conditioning incredibly loud. Room smelt damp. Carpet not vacuumed. Dust everywhere and stains on walls and ceilings. Will pay more in future as did not feel particularly safe. Also badly sign posted as drove past first go. Didn't have breakfast, wouldn't eat here.

Was a great stay. one night for friend's birthday party. came in very late and stayed here since it was close to the airport. frontdesk checked me in quickly without issue. room that I was given was nice since it had new carpet and paint work from the last time I was here over 2 years ago. The area was great and the rooms were very clean. The outside looks kind of run down but the rooms are pretty nice. The rooms look newly renovated and were well kept.
The location is good for non-drivers like me. There's a bus stop (route 88) right in front. Very near Hobby Airport. The welcome was warm. The value is great! There are lots of good things here. Good air conditioning, very comfortable bed...but the hotel is showing its age. Not the cleanest but OK. And no breakfast due to COVID-19.
Great place to stay with little money. I hesitated when I saw other peoples reviews, but I am glad I did stay here. Great staff, great service and great location and very clean and comfortable. I am surprised they have shuttle service and awesome 140+ channels on TV and that's with premium channels like HBO's, ESPN's and Cinemax !!! Will come back again and again.
This was not what we were hoping for. Directions were confusing, led us to a housing complex. Finally after an hour we found the place. It wasn't in the best part of Houston. Bed upstairs was in need of new box springs very loud, when the person turned over. Conversations held right outside our door, horrendous and inconsiderate people dragging their suitcases up and down steps, late at night, early in the morning. Traffic sounded like it was at our front door, people didn't pick up after their dogs. I would not recommend this place, it's old, unkempt, carpets stunk of urine.
The rooms were really nice. Customer service was great. I was staying there for a funeral and it was the perfect location. I even had to have a last-minute Fedex shipped to the hotel and they were more than helpful. I'd stay here again for sure! Great TV program and very comfortable bed. I am glad I tried it.

Overall stay was nice. Room was big and clean. Quiet at night. Guest in next room had few small kids running around. Breakfast was nice. Shuttle ride to Hobby Airport was okay.

This hotel had excellent accommodations. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast had great offerings such as milk&cereal, toast, muffins, orange juice, fruit, etc. Super clean and safe. When in Houston, I will be back. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
Great visit. Even with the Covid pandemic, we felt very welcome and felt like we were home. Room is always clean and ready when we got there (which was before the check-in time). Staff is always helpful. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Houston.
This hotel is infested with roaches here the room smelled like smoke when came in the restroom had roaches crawling over the toilet . When I ask to get my money he said no I have to wait for his manager n he can t bother him bcuz he s off so much for management
Sheets had pubic hair, regular hair, semen and it was definitely disgusting. Just a matter of them doing their job right. Changing and washing sheets. The room is big enough and ok. It was more of sanitation!
We only stayed for one night as we were on our way to another city but wished we could stay more as the staff and amenities were great. Made us feel welcomed the moment we walked in. Very close to the airport and very quiet. Will come back to this place for sure.
No baseboards in the room or bathroom. The ceramic tiles in the bathroom aren t glued down. The carpet is dirty. Inched all night overall I wasn t happy or satisfied
I have stayed at this location numerous times. over the past 12 months I'd say 50 st least. This past stay just ended that. The front desk staff are rude. The rooms OFTEN have issues... broken outlets, sinks not draining, mini fridge doesn't work well, the tv's very very rarely work cause the dish needs adjusting and has now for like 8 months!!! this past stay of 5 days I got to watch ZERO tv after a hard day's work. After approaching front desk staff about it what I got out of my troubles was "so sorry sir"... no comp night... no discount... no nada... I'm so done and taking my hard earned money somewhere else.
Everything was great. Staff, service, shuttle, room, breakfast, etc. was beyond my expectation for the price I paid. I had no worries at all will stay again if in town. I am glad I tried this place. I had an early morning flight and I didn t want to commute from a friend s house to the airport. So I chose to stay here. The man the front desk was friendly and my check-in with smoothly. I was in a room on the front side of the building so I had access to the elevator which was great since I am one to over pack and had a lot of things to take to the room. The room was decent and had the functional amenities I appreciate with a microwave and refrigerator. At checkout they asked if I needed the shuttle to the airport, but I didn t because I was leaving my car at the Parking Spot that was just up the road.

DO NOT STAY HERE! When I went the vending machine was broke, the ice machine was broke, the pool was closed, the check in system was broke and it took them 2 1/2 hours to check me in. When they finally checked me in the room wasn't cleaned yet and had trash all over the floor and roaches! Worst hotel I have ever seen. I got a refund and booked it. I'm not exaggerating...I'll e-mail you photos if you ask me of everything I've described. The price may be tempting, but staying here would be the worst mistake you could make. DO NOT STAY HERE!
I visited this motel again and I realized the amenities and services are very improved and exceeding my expectations. The staff was very professional and very kind. They were very helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom and the room was very clean and well maintained. There was a wide variety of breakfast items which my kids loved. The wifi is more powerful, now TV got more than 140+ channels with HBO, ESPN and cinemax. Now it is lot safer place since they got security camera system. They also provided shuttle service from the airport which is just down the road. Overall, we would recommend to anyone going to Hobby airport. My wife and kids loved this place.

Don't go! Booked room for ground floor. They had us on 3rd floor. Went back to office they said sorry about your luck. I have bad knees. Then they give us a room on the 2nd floor. We went to eat. Open the room up....it's not been cleaned. Dirty bed still messed up. Bathroom dirty. Called back down to the office. Didn't even come look at this. Put us in room next door. Black mold and badly patched roof in the shower. Low water pressure very little if any hot water. The stairs rails rusted thru one bungee cord holding together. The floor in the bath area was soft....Felt like it was going to give in. And too top it off.....they have a big banner saying 150 channel of TV.....Joke no TV. Called the office again. They don't know when this will be fixed.....the maintenance man was not available. The only good thing......the bed and towles.......
Upon arriving I slip outside heading my head on the brick wall and cutting both arms. Walked in and the guy behind the counter did get me a couple of bandaids but never offered to fill out an accident report. I did take pictures of my face and arms. Checking in was quick but once getting to our non smoking room it smelled like smoke. Bathroom floor was dirty! Most of the outlets in the room would not work or hold the plug. If you plugged anything in it would fall out or spark which isn't a good thing. I know the price was cheap but it wasn't worth the money. I took pictures of the room so I have proof.
Went to Houston for the weekend to visit friends that lived close. I saw reviews and hesitated, but decided to take a chance and I am glad I did stayed here. Great place to stay, clean, quite, and friendly staff, who helped even 2:30 AM in the morning. Excellent TV programs I have ever seen. Great shuttle service. This would really be convenient for someone traveling through Hobby Airport.
The hotel was really close to the airport and to downtown. We were in town for a wedding and this hotel was is a fairly close range to the venue near downtown Houston. The rooms were pretty nice and very clean. The staff was very great and helped us find places to eat the first couple days we were in town. For the low price and amazing service, my wife and I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

If I could rate this place negative stars I would! Every review is completely accurate and yes I saw a roach!! There was black hairs in the sink and in the sheets!!! The front desk was unbelievably rude when I asked for a clean set of sheets, she asked ME to walk across to the other hotel and ask for them! WHAT!!??? Lazy and rude staff!! Many questionable people hanging around and definitely heard screaming in the night. I knew I d loose my money so my son and I decided to stay. Needless to say I put a chair against the door. We booked through Expedia and everything online was completely different. Should have checked yelp first
This was a very great stay. The motel provided airport shuttle service, even though I came late at night. The staff treated me very well and was very friendly. They were very helpful and made me feel at home. The room was very comfortable and well maintained. They even provided free breakfast in the morning. This motel was a great stay and would recommend to anyone else coming to Houston.
The place is clean and the rooms are well kept. The front desk guy seemed super nice and was helpful when we asked about good places to eat nearby. Property seems pretty secure (front desk staff is always watching the security camera feed). The breakfast was also pretty good.
Worst place I ever seen! The whole bed was covered with body fluid stains and something brownish, the pillows under the pillowcase had mold and clouds of yellowish stains, the smell of the room was awful, the carpet extremely dirty and ripped at the entrance, the microwave most come from a neighbors trash because it was missing the glass door and was very rusty and dirty, we complained to the admin and he refused to go and check the room, instead he gave us an other room that resulted in worst condition, this place posed a health risk and we end up sleeping in our car. We are trying to get our money back but so far they are refusing to return our hard earned money. I will never recommend this dump to any human being.
One of the worst experiences of my life. A/C did not work right. The bad smell was overwhelming. Musty old mildew smell. Just a very miserable experience. Warning. Do not go here. I asked to be moved and was told there were no more rooms available only to discover they cleaned the room next to me and rented it to someone only 30 mins later. Manager will not answer questions. He either hangs up on you when you call or doesn't answer at all. Hes very rude and if he can't understand you he will just blow you off on whatever it is you need. Tried staying there 3 x and last time it was so hot I had to lay in bed with no clothes on. Ridiculous! Probably lost my business for good now. Should never have to put up with how they act there.
When my fiance and I landed, I gave the property a call and the shuttle was by the pick up area in no time. When we got to the motel, the front desk guy, BJ, was very nice. The room was surprisingly clean and well laid out. When we booked this place we were scared but it turned out to be a great stay! I would recommend this place to everyone!

The front desk agent was sitting polishing her nails and it was raining and a late check in for me. She tells me there was no vacancies on the first floor there were 3 vacant rooms with the windows open and all beds made and completely empty. If you don't want to work you shouldn't have a job, keep in mind I was from out of town which gave your hotel a bad image just from your lack of professionalism

Awful, stayed out of desperation because of cancelled flight. I understand that Houston isn't used to ice but this place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. No elevator you have to take the outside metal steps that are pure ice. To top it all off, my door doesn't seal shut so it's freezing in the room because the heat can't keep up. Light bulbs out, holes in the walls, what looks like painted over mold on one of the walls. At least my room was clean, couldn't say the same for others. The front desk person was very nice, but it doesn't make up for the disaster...
I wasn't expecting much from this hotel since it was so close to the airport but I was pleasantly amazed. I had to pick up a friend from the airport and did not want to drive and park so I used the shuttle service. I was running late so when I got to the hotel to check in I asked the clerk if we could use the shuttle service and told him I was in a hurry. By the time I had my bags put up in the room he had the shuttle waiting for me. I really appreciated the attentive service I receive here. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back if I need to be close to the airport again. and suggest every one to give a try.

When I saw this place online, i was skeptical but decided to take the risk anyways. Well I'm glad I did because this place was a phenomenal stay. The man that came to pick me up from the airport was funny and very inviting. He made me feel like I was back at home. The check-in process was surprisingly fast and I was headed to my room in no time. My room was also very clean and the sheets looked like they were recently washed. The internet sometime kept on going out but the front desk guy helped me set it up and after that I didn't have a problem. I had requested the front office to wake me up in the morning and they were perfectly on time. I've stayed at a good array of motels but Ive never had an experience like this. I usually never write a review but this place was so good that I felt like I had to.
Most of the 5 star reviews on this hotel are fake. You can tell because most of the accounts that leave a 5 star review have only ever made 1 review, at this hotel only. The Indian guy at the desk will tell you there are no refunds here, that pretty much says it all.
There were roaches everywhere. They gave me another room...although there werent roaches crawling around like the room before there were dead ones we payed 142 for 2 nights and it was a total lost ...no breakfast the room smelled like smoke. I would have reccomend this hotel if their prices were $40 a night bc that's all they are worth. My opinion my experience.
When i was searching for places to stay, i saw this place and was very suspicious because of all of the negative reviews but I'm actually happy that i stayed here. The staff was very kind and receptive. They even helped me find a good place to eat at night. The room was really clean and nice. The front desk person would occassionally make rounds outside around the motel to make sure everything was fine. The morning breakfast had a wide variaty of option which was great since im a diabetic. Since i was here on a business trip, i had to be up early and the front desk offered to give a wake up call. I was actually surprised when i heard that. Next time I land at Hobby, i would stay here for sure. A really nice place for a great deal
Despite having to be moved three times before finding a unit with AC, this hotel met my meager needs. TV was not functioning, the toilet door didn't close, and the tub didn't drain very well. No bedbugs.
Breakfast didn t have simple bread and asked about that to front desk guy , he didn t have any courtesy and rudely said no . Strangely they have kept butter cubes and Jelly which all normal people eat with Bread .
Have to spend one more night though there .
Staff was nice. Recently renovated per the staff. My room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good, i had muffins and sliced bread with coffee.

Check in was easy and went well. The first night was comfortable and peaceful. The a/c works great! The 2nd night, one of the guests played loud music in his car in the parking lot with the window down. The hotel employee asked him to turn it down and he did. The room was nice. It was clean, cool and comfortable. The employees were friendly and professional. I will stay here in the future.

Our room was okay for a Travelodge by the airport. Our traveling partners' room smelled of cat urine. When they changed rooms they were put in a room with a broken showerhead and a hole in the ceiling where the smoke alarm should have been. Killed a roach in their room on my way out. Doing my part I guess. It's a Travelodge by their airport. Set expectations as such.

Stay away My husband spent two nights here and it was horrible the first night the light was out in the restroom he reported it second night still out! On the second night there was yelling and banging on the doors he didn t get any rest! When I did called complain I got no were I couldn t speak to management the young guy at the front desk told me he ll write it down and pass message to Management! My husband not one to complain he s very quiet and mellow not me I m spending money for him to be there for out of town work that s not the way you treat customers.....
Everything was fabulous. Great views, service, etc. Can't say enough about the staff. All very helpful and friendly. Room was fairly larger and quiet comfy. Went to galveston which was a pretty reasonable drive. The close proximity to the airport (right down the street) meant that my daughter could sleep in a little bit on the day we had our early flight and the transportation service to the airport on behalf of the hotel saved us a great deal of money on car rental as well. Would definitely stay here again.
We got put on the third floor and the elevator was out. Room was nice. The air conditioner was off and we checked in at 2 a.m. so was not that hot but still took about 4 hours to cool down to sleep comfortably. Building 3 has a very small breakfast compared to building 1.
