The only thing good here was the guy at the desk super nice other then that room was a mess

OMG dear God this place is so nasty I wouldn't let my dog stay here. My spouse and I learned our lesson reasonable will be our way to go picking a hotel cheap is disgusting. Tired to get a refund and manager not on site. So I have to call them back. I will be until I get my hard working money. Ridiculous no stars for this place

There was no breakfast due to covid-19. Exceptionally good, clean place near airport. Felt like home because of great staff. Will be back again and again.

My stay was okay, the staff was very nice especially the manager Jay.The hotel lobby was nice cool and so was the room. Clean and comfortable property. I would recommend this hotel as a comfortable and quiet place to stay as well as the breakfast was great!This hotel has an awesome staff and because everyone was so friendly and nice,this makes it so easy to say that I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

I wish I could give 0 but that's not possible.they photocopied my debit card back and front , It was so horrible experience they did not even have clean room.i could not even stand for an hour so I checked out. They say nonrefundable because they know no one is going to stay there as soon as they enter their room. We were like 4 customer in a row to ask for refund .there was mold, torn bedsheet, dirty carpet and nasty smell inside the room and front desk was so rude.please do not bring your family to this nasty place. All this good pic they have here is a scam!!!!!

The nicest people work at this hotel. The breakfast was great and it was quiet. Parking was convenient, and the metro ran right next to the hotel. There are great restaurants within walking distance. Loved it!

Great place. Was not sure at first but it was a pleasant surprise. Clean room and yummy breakfast. My kids had the cereal and muffins. Staff was nice. Will recommend.

I would give this property a zero if we could. Website pictures were misleading. Room was disgusting, visible mold growing, leaky faucets, dirty linens on the bed...just awful. We cancelled and went to another hotel. VJ was extremely rude about refunding us. We had to call Travelocity to cancel the reservation. VJ refused to waive the charge for one night. Reported to Wyndham corporate and they are making it right. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

The hotel is renovated, was very clean and nicer than expected depending on the price at Hobby Airport. Staff was very friendly, care taking and very helpful. They greeted us with smile and helped us move our luggage to the room. The room was very clean with fresh linen smell. The bathroom lighting was great. Beds were very comfortable and we checked for bedbugs and found none. In the morning the continental breakfast was great with regular and decaffeinated coffee, milk and cereals, orange juice, fruits, muffins, honey buns, bread toast, etc. They have quick shuttle service to Hobby Airport that I liked very much. After a long time, I had very pleasant staying experience at Travelodge that I felt like home. When I will be in Houston in this area next time for business or leisure, this motel is my choice for stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

There rooms are not that great and customer service is not that great

Cheap, microwave, fridge, breakfast included, great place, but linnens need to be replaced.

Place is very nice for the price and staff is above the norm .they go out of their way for you.

The hotel is a short distance to the airport. Excellent shuttle service. Stay was very short so didn't indulge in the free breakfast. Room and bathroom was clean. Not the best hotel but the best return for your buck. Was very reasonably priced, but have amenities like high class franchise hotel. Friendly and very helpful staff. I feel management is working very hard to improve further. I definitely recommend to all travellers.

One word. Roaches. A few more words. Holes in the walls, cigarette burns on the beds, musky smelling rooms, mold in the bathtubs, doors that barely close. When I first arrived to the Travelodge in Houston I knew that the place was cheap. That was why I booked here. However, I didn't know that the place was a health hazard and barely inhabitable. The manager was a nice man but had a terrible grasp of the English language. I asked for a bath towel and instead received a towel for wiping the ground. When I asked to exchange towels I was told these were the only towels they had. For breakfast they had stale cereal and 4 muffins. Nothing else. The lady next to me had to buy her own bread to toast at the Travelodge in Houston. The rooms all smell of smoke and drugs. I asked to switch rooms and was placed in an equally bad room. After only one night, I came back to find a massive cockroach sitting behind the front door. Eww. The AC units are all really old and barely working as well. On top of all that, the water (sink and shower) is dirty and the whole building is in DIRE need of repairs. I will NEVER come back to this shoddy excuse for a motel and wouldn't even wish a night here on my worst enemies. Please fix and properly maintain this motel. Or better yet, demolish it and start all new. Not good for the Wyndham name at all!

Air conditioners is hanging off the wall,almost touching the floor, extremely loud. Room smells like smoke. The sheets don't fit the mattress ,bathroom is disgusting

Roaches....German roaches.. I saw them bathroom and on a pillow next to someone as they slept. NOT CLEAN If German cockroaches are in this room, they are in other rooms too. ADDRESS THIS PLEASE.

Was a perfect place to stay for a couple nights. Room I got was clean and neat. Friendly staff & close to Hobby Airport for the early morning flight.

Our first room smelled of smoke and I mean you couldnt even breathe in it we had to get another room , the prices were 60 to be honest should of been 30 for tht type of quality and it was for 1 night ridiculous the coffee machine wasnt even clean nor the refrigerator the shower curtains only had 1 sheet and the lamps cover had a hole I myself will never go there again I went to Houston so and for those who are willing to give it an experience might be better than mine.

I booked online on Saturday through Priceline sometime before 11pm. Got there soon after, I told the man I had already booked online, he took my ID and debit card (I m thinking to confirm). Shift change happened in the middle of my check-in. The other guy apparently didn t get the message that I had already booked online. So apparently I m booked again as a walk-in unknowingly. So now I ve paid twice. I did not realize this until the next day. I called, I ve been having issues with this all week. Anyway, called my bank, filed a dispute. I left behind my $200 Oral-B professional toothbrush, called to check on it. The housekeepers didn t find it. This $50 stay cost me so much more! Next time I ll spend a little more money on a nicer hotel.

Sheets/blankets were stained. Roaches crawling behind night stand. Room smelled musty.

Everything was as per expectations. Some area like TV programs and breakfast they do exceed expectations. Very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will come back again and recommend to all sort of travelers. Thank you very much for your very homely hospitality.

I don't like to leaves bad reviews but this place is shady. There was a window on second floor that looks like it was just busted out and the room they gave me has a thin piece of plyboard covering the busted window. Also it stinks and the fridge don't work

I was not there for a day and all of my food was thrown out and my stuff taken out of the room without my permission. My meds are missing also. When I call I get the run around. The room was paid for. Completely unacceptable. Stealing is stealing plain and simple. The items I had were collectibles and precious. I regret staying here and trusting these people.

They are always very nice and room is always clean. We felt well taken care of. Comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast offerings. Great hospitality, will definitely return.

Friendly and accommodating staff, nice clean rooms and the location was great as well. The short trip to and from the airport was nice and the driver was very helpful. Really would love to come back here again.

My room had stains all over the sheets and under the blankets and the chair had stuff biting me

I visited this place few weeks ago. Our room was very clean and looked like it had been recently renovated. Nice and friendly staff. Thank you. Comfortable bed, which is the most important thing. So many restaurants close by, and surprisingly front desk has the comprehensive list of restaurants near by and that helped me a lot to choose the one of my taste. Great breakfast with toast, cereal milk, juice and fruit even though it is the lowest and economy class in all the Wyndham brands. Enjoyed the stay, found totally different then what other people say. I am pleased to recommend to others.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. Never going back to this hotel again. I originally booked this hotel for 5 nights and canceled the other nights the night I got there

This is a very low scale, dirty, and poorly maintained hotel. The only updated items in the room was the flat screen television. My phone didn't work in my room so I had to walk downstairs to the front desk for everything. The AC unit vents were filthy and the room had a stale, mildewy smell to it. I could see smears of substances on the tabletop, dresser and nightstand tops because they had not been wiped clean by housekeeping. The hotel had a very robust night life. I didn't get a single night of sound rest due to other patrons coming through during the early morning hours screaming profanities and arguing with one another. Last but not least of all, housekeeping stole some of my belongings and the front desk worker informed me that I was responsible for my belongings during my entire stay whether I was in the room or not. He suggested I may have been a participant in the night life of their motel wanna be hotel and that maybe my "company " had taken my items. The manager refused to call me to even discuss compensating me for my stolen items. I wouldn't check a homeless animal into this place let alone a friend or family member.

Great location with great customer service with amazing staff. we have been here before and each trip just gets better and better. They go out of the way to make you feel comfortable. They arent a 5-star hotel but they have great services for the money.

Asked me for my credit card number online, specifically told me no charge until I arrive to the place and check in before I even arrived my card was charged, then owner refuse to give me my money back

The room smells terrible .the front clerk change our room after our request the sheets soiled with cigarrete burn. The bathroom door very hard to open they charge my fiance at our arrive and also charge our credit card with the reservation .now having problems to resolve the double charge.I will never use this facility again.

Really nice and comfortable place! The staff was very friendly and made our stay feel like home. The hotel is really close to the airport making it very convenient and its super cheap which makes it even better. I would recommend everyone to stay here

The rooms are clean and nice but the outside makes me wish i brought my hand gun. Its trashy and folks lingeringing around made me glad my son in law walked me to my door in which i quickly locked it. Inside i felt safe and secure.

I had a roaches in non smoking room, the bed had smokers holes in the sheets and SEVERAL stains. When I reserve the room it was much hassle trying to check in, as if they did me a favor of checking me in after I paid 137.00 for 2 nights, the second night, the guy at the front said I was never checked in so I had to wait 30 mins for him to verify and to get back in room with all my stuff, my key was deactivated. I was able to get back in, but by far, out of all the rooms I travelled to due to the military... This was the worst. My towels and washed clothes were stained. If you come to this hotel bring RAID roach spray. It's Nasty and continental breakfast is sliced bread! The worst part... The broken elevator and luggage. I'm to the point where I called my attorney... Due to health violation and bugs in the bed. I woke up and a roach was crawling on me.

I really enjoyed staying there it was clean and the staff was nice. Very clean room. Staff really interested to give a good service to customers. Great value for the money. No frills but clean clean clean. Bathroom completely clean and with good lighting. Everything close by like few miles away. I liked the breakfast in the morning. Great place and I recommend to every traveler.

The location is very convenient being close to the Hobby Airport and I-45 so visiting NASA and Galveston is a breeze! The looks clean outside and inside except that it is an older exterior style. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I will stay again and recommend!

Read very outdated with strained arm chair and autums, bathtub was very old and grubby. They had no sheet on the bed and a small blanket with cigarette burns all throigh it. Luckily I got the room free with my points would not want to pay actual cash here although I wish I would habe used my points at a better location.

They announce free shuttle bus from hobby air,I call at 10pm a soon I arrive they told me to wait 15 to 20 min after calling back to the hotel to many times they never answer the phone again,a have to call (Lift),I arrive the hotel after 11pm,they give me silly excuses, very bad service, I'm a Wyndham member I'm very disappointed

My nieces and sister was in town so my boyfriend and I decided to take them down to Galveston and decided that this was a reasonable price for the 3 nights. It was the worst mistake of my life and I cannot even imagine having to have anyone stay there. The first night we checked in, the front desk person did not even greet us as we checked in, the 2nd day we requested for more towels and the front desk stated that we had to go up to the desk to pick them up, so we went up there to grab more towels. They were serving breakfast so we decided to grab some cereal and doughnuts. The milk was warm and there was not much selection. We asked for more pillows since there were 3 kids and 2 adults and the front desk person advised us that we had to ask housekeeping, when housekeeping came around, we asked and she asked why we needed more pillows and if we paid for 5 people, I advised her that yes in fact it is on our reservation and she refused to give me more pillows.

My girls started getting bumps on their legs and arms and I did not even think that it could have been bed bug bites, I just assumed it was due to the heat or mosquito bites. On the day we were checking out, we found a bug and lifted the covers and there were tons of bed bugs and the bumps started to swell up. We notified the front office right away and she acted surprise, but the people behind us overheard and also told us that they had bed bugs in their room on the first night and had asked to be moved into another room. I am glad that we saw them on the way out because that will help us build a stronger case against this hotel. My room # was 105 and the other room was 103 ad 107.

There were prostitutes walking back and forth and we had left our cooler outside the door because it smelled like fish from the baits we had and someone opened it and realized it stunk and we overheard them closing it back up. This is an unsafe hotel and I would not recommend this to anyone.

The manager, Jay Pachal accused me of lying and stated that they did a through inspection and found no bed bugs, yet we brought the proof to the front desk and also lifted the covers of the beds and seen the bugs for our self. There is no way that they can do this and he also goes as far as to say that we stayed 3 nights and did not say anything, we are new to the Texas heat and thought it probably was mosquito bites or from the heat. Days later and we are all itching and its gotten worse, but they refuse to give us a full refund, so I am going to the Attorney General, Department of Health and whoever will listen to let this be known that this place is not safe for anyone, especially kids.

The room was comfortable for the price. The elevator didn't work and of course the wouldn't give me a 1st floor room. Even though the windows were clearly open and had some available. Ugh! The coke machine takes cards only so they instruct you to walk to the joining facility next door to use their coke a,vending,and ice machine [yes!the ice machine didn't wirk either] there were people walking and hanging around all hours of the night coming and going. But, for the price and closeness to the airport I guess it's ok...

I'm blogger and hotel conasor I travel to different hotels, motels, lodges ,bnbs,and cabins; any place you think about going or wonder about I let you know about service given and which is the best to stay at from front desk to cleanse in parking lot, main lobby ,rooms,bathrooms ,pool areas,I rate everything and all from the way I'm greeted to checking in the stay I'm having and the over all of the experience if it's woth the money or better else where .i got to hobby and travel lodge alot and so far hobby next door is a better deal maybe not in price but for ten dollar difference the respect and atmosphere of the establishment is well worth the price compared to travel lodge.40$/45$ dollars at travel lodge and 50$/55$ at hobby . respect and kindness go along way .the front desk ladies are extremely rude and make it feel like your waiting there time they make you feel unwelcome and like there better than you as a client .they dk absolutely nothing at all but betray horrible hygiene habits their appearance alone is very unprofessional and their grammar shows the level of education and up bringing very disrespectful towords almost everyone who spends their hard working money there they make it seem like your money's not good enough to be spent there.its horrible.ill be going to motel 6 an econolodge. Terrible. Elevator broken, missing light bulbs in room, desk guy seemed to not know what he was doing (almost kept my ID except I said something when I saw he still had the last guy s ID) very out dated and run down. Went and asked for extra towels and they didn t have any so I got one bath mat because that s all there was. Dead cockroach in lobby area. Changed our reservations after that night and stayed elsewhere, would not come back. Shuttle guy was so nice though

A/c was broken, room was humid and dirty. Ever seen a bathtub floor made of duct tape painted white? I have. I gave the key back to the desk, the indian refused my refund, I am now disputing this charge through my bank.

The property was very nice! The exterior could use some potential work but the inside was great. The rooms were big and spacious and the beds were extremely comfy! My family and I felt as if we were at home here. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. We travel a lot so we are always trying to find a great hotel at an affordable price point and this hotel is just perfect for that. This stay truly made me a Travelodge fan

The condition of the airport shuttle should ve been my first cue; it had more illuminations (service lights) than a Christmas tree. The driver was nice enough as was the desk person. I m assigned a room on the 2nd floor, I go to the elevator and there s what appears to be urine on the floor and it stinks to high heaven. Then on to the room. It was in disrepair. I was apprehensive about putting my luggage let alone my to put my body on any surface there.
4 hours later and a long story short the old adage that you get what you pay for is true.

Quick check in by great staff. Clean comfortable room. So many things to see on TV. Trust worthy and honest house keeping staff return my watch that I forgot in room. Will definitely come back again. And recommend to others.

Stayed one night. Rate was low, room was clean, had Airport shuttle and clerk was nice.

The service was decent but there is an odor in the room that sucks. You do get used to it though. Otherwise it is a little old but clean. I would try not to come here too often however.

There were bed bugs and we were told he can't refund until manager gets there in the morning so we moved rooms to wait for our refund but manager told us no refund because we stayed the night. I've got pics of the bugs too..it was aweful my friend left with bites all over her. If you were taking this seriously you would have refunded us not tricked us.

Stayed overnight for a layover and really loved it here. Very clean and convenient hotel for one night stay. Super affordable rate. Room was clean and pretty spacious. Felt super safe here since the property was constantly being monitored by the front desk staff. I will definitely stay here again

When we first rented the hotel we entered our room and it was the smell of someone smoking it was disgusting as no one cleaned it then of course we rented a new room as we did the hotel itself seemed to look nice until we saw the lamp cover has holes in it and the fridge was disgusting as it hasn't been cleaned in over a month next thing I see I go take a shower and their is only 1 shower curtain as the water is able to leak on the floor and the coffee machine had old coffee in it not even cleaned out and when I did it had old stiff in my coffee I can tell you from my experience the price was 60 to 80$ when it should of been 30$ for such type of quality I will probably never go there again tho as for others may have a different experience good day.

I've stayed here on several occasions and there is pros and cons no matter where you stay but considering the prices between this facility and the others in the area you are getting great service for the price. This place is really cheap compared to the other hotels in the area and also offers great service compared to the others at their price point. The rooms are clean and well furnished and the amenities in the room are also great (coffee machine, ironing board, so many tv channels).

Worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room phone didn't have a chord to plug into the wall. The hotel never fixed it during my stay. There were also cigarette burns on the comforter and the bathroom door didn't close. A dead roach was found in the bathroom. The tv didn't work either.

Fabulous motel for overnight stay near Houston Hobby at this price. Walkable Denny's but free food delivery available !!. It was well lit, CLEAN, roomy, hot water in the shower with great water pressure. The bed was plush and comfortable. No outside noise heard, not even from the highway. Had a microwave and small refrigerator !! Overall we would happily stay here again for business, medical, or pleasure. and recommend to others for the same.

Convenient and very close to Hobby Airport. Very nice and cheerful staff. Staff helped to move my luggage to the room. Room was fresh linen smelling and clean. Lighting was nice. Comfortable bed. Lot of channels on flat screen TV. Frontdesk guided to a numerous famous restaurants within few miles for dinner. Breakfast was vey satisfying. Good security. Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely worst place we've ever been to. Room was dirty, sheet was dirty, lamps were not working, no bath plug, electrical switch of exhaust fan was exposed and not working, outside shocking - used condom on stairs, plus other trash! .

Owner/worker rude, room smelled musty because of numerous leaks that have obviously been leaking awhile. Due to booking online nothing I could do. No accomadations for handicapped, soda machine don't work & the towels were even still wet & I checked in about 6:30-700 p.m. ROACHES EVERYWHERE! When I take a shower I did ask the ownerdid he have a dryer that works because the one in my room does not work. Much to my surprise he informed me that those were only there for the looks, cosmetic!!! Too bad I had to leave even one star. Go elsewhere!

Would not recommend to anyone. Very dirty, ripped carpet, stained chairs and filthy bathroom. If I had more energy or time I would've went somewhere else. Needless to say I slept on top the bedspread with my clothes on. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the desk staff was nice.

I was traveling with my coworkers to Houston TX and our office manager booked the last night of our stay in this dumpster" Sorry for using it, but this is the truth" since the first moment we felt like this is a bad hotel, we went to the rooms and we found roaches, and ants, and stain on the sheets. The smell was unimaginable. We requested a cancellation and they refused and they shown no care at all. Super big thumb down.

I was there this weekend left yesterday. I am from Philadelphia. The smell was horrible, roaches, sink was stopped up and leaking when I turned it on, remote control was broke , spots on sheets ,towels and wash cloths that was provided. I had the no disturb sign outside the door they still came in. I have pics

The motel was very easy to find and the location was perfect for our early morning flight! The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. Sadly no breakfast due to corona but everything else more then made up for it. Will be returning to this location for sure!

I would definitely give this hotel 0 stars if possible! Even though the staff is nice, the rooms are terrible! I had a roach on my bed and since the hotel was booked I couldn't get moved rooms!!! I was picking up to go to another hotel and surprise another roach on the floor! The room smelled like wet mop, the carpet looked dirty, old furniture, the floor was breaking everywhere, it wasn't very clean, not to mention how hot the room was and how long it took for it to cool down!! DO NOT STAY HERE!

The room we was put in was disgusting the floor was angled in as if it was going to capsize at anytime. This is just from the room we recieved no hdmi hook up for gaming no wifi just all around regular place to stay for there discount price.

Called over 10 times this week. No answer. You all should try to answer your phone, maybe you'll get more business. You all just go to Hobby Inn Airport. Way better

The place was adequate, as for a place to sleep near the airport. When I checked in, there was quite an unusual smell in the lobby. But there was an elevator, which I appreciated. The room was fine. The bed was very comfy, actually, and the AC worked. Those were the main things I cared about. But some of the bathroom area tiles needed to be replaced; they were cracked all the way through and wobbly. And in general, the room and the hotel had an "ehhh, I should've gone to one slightly better".

I lost my id in the airport and had to stay in Houston over night. I had enough cash to cover the hotel but they denied me a room because of the no i.d. after pleading my case they still wouldn t even let me wait in the lobby and wait for my Uber to come! Terrible customer service and no sympathy. Shame on you.

Left the room asap. The room smell really bad and there was mold all over the wall. My kids where getting head aches. This place needs to be shut down.

Some medium scale franchise does not provide shuttle service and this low scale does, amazing. well coming staff checked me in in very short time. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. TV has more than 140 channels, and amazingly with numerous HBO, ESPN and Cinemax. got great sleep. Thank you.

Amazingly well kept, very well organized, and clean Travelodge. One of the best Motels for less than $80 per night I have ever been to. The staff is highly professional and kind. Breakfast is complementary and pretty good for the price we paid.

Excellent location and service, Genuinely kind staff We were exhausted from the all day drive and discouraged since we had missed our international flight. Thanks to the hotel shuttle service, within five minutes the hotel shuttle picked us up. Hotel staff were so kind, so welcoming, so efficient. We slept comfortably and enjoyed a plentiful hotel breakfast the next morning. Yes, the hotel is undergoing its own weather related renovations, but the staff's professionalism and genuine guest focus erased our travel trials. Very convenient to parking and Hobby airport.Thus, we extend our thanks plus our sincere recommendation.

This place was amazing no other words can describe it. I honestly did not expect this place to have such good services at this price point but this place surprised me. The manager was super friendly and made it feel like home. The breakfast was really well placed and well laid out. The food seemed fresh and there was more variety then other hotels i've stayed at.
