A cozy spot in Yorkville for a nice dinner out with friends or your significant other. The food is delicious, with lots of flavours of Italy. One of the best dishes is the mushroom truffle pasta which is the perfect portion. They also have a great selection of wines. One annoyance is the lack of waiting space.

This is really delicious. The price is a bit high, but it's worth it. One pizza is about $ 15-20 and pasta is about $ 20. Everything I ordered was delicious, but the recommended one is Risotto Nervosa. It costs $ 30, but it is a gem full of mushrooms and soft meat.

Julia made our experience something unique, friendly and her enthusiastic about hospitality, was formidable.

Great service. Nice patio. Pizza is delicious. Pasta is pretty good, I especially like the bolognese. A good Italian restaurant in the city!

Good food but the seating is too cramped. Very difficult to pass through without bumping into other tables. A bit on the pricey side but it's a good place to visit for a special occasion.

The place is very crammed and we waited a pretty long time before getting seated. It was kind of getting annoying, especially because there was no room to even stand to be seated. However, the food quality was pretty good and I really liked the staff and atmosphere. Would recommend it, just not a good place to go if you're more than 4 people. Unless you're okay waiting around 45 minutes to an hour to be seated

Excellent little place. We had pasta and pizza along with the tiramisu. Wait staff was very attentive. The tables are a bit close, but the atmosphere was excellent, would definitely go there again.

Very tasty food and reasonable prices for a Yorkville located cafe.Service was excellent in amongst a more warm and less noisy ambience .upstairs.Ordered the kale salad which was amazing (I usually dont even like kale..) accompanied by a piece of sea bass...which was a great match.Also tried the vegetarian rigatoni which also was delicious...no doubt about it..2 thumbs up..

The food here is good & the potential is good.. But it all gets thrown out the window with hiring staff such as Sanattanah who are rude and snotty. Customer Service is just as important as good quality food.. Maybe not hire sketchy bartenders/servers

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch here today. Spent a few hours wandering the Royal Ontario Museum and then explored the local area. The staff was very accommodating, great wines and delicious home made pasta. They made me feel like a guest in their home, Hope to be back in the area soon for another visit.

Delicious every time. They don't take reservations for dinner unfortunately, but they have a good texting system so plan ahead. Service is great too. Good luck picking just one thing on the menu - literally everything sounds (and is!) mouthwatering.

I ve been here a few times and usually love this place. But today made me change my mind about returning here. A friend and I Had a late lunch here around 4:45 to enjoy the sun on the patio. We were seated quickly and our food came right away, which was good overall. However, Immediately after we finished eating, our server asked if we wanted dessert. We asked to see the menu. Within a few minutes of handing us the menu, she returned to ask if we wanted to order dessert. We said no. Our water Bottle for the table was empty at this point. Without asking she brings us the bill. I wanted to say something here as it was obvious we were being rushed out but I decided to stay quiet and carry on with my conversation. She then brought the credit card machine without us asking or even touching our wallets and stood over us waiting for us to pay. At this point, it was only 5:20. I was super annoyed that I paid over 40 dollars for a meal and was being rushed out without even my water being refilled. If I wanted the fast food experience, I would have gone anywhere else for pizza. I did not expect that treatment at a nice place in Yorkville. On top of that, there were others beside us sitting there before we arrived just nursing the same drink. I get that it s a business and you need fast turnaround, but rushing customers out after 35 minutes is ridiculous and rude. Disappointed that one of my favorite spots soured my afternoon.

We really like the place, we came here with my mom who is visiting from Spain and she liked it. We enjoyed the lunch we ordered, their pizza dough is great. I ordered a Picante pizza also great.
I recommend you to ask for their gorgeous tiramisu. It is creamy, but it also has some crunchy stuff in the top. I came back here just to eat the tiramisu.

Pretty Good spot. The starter salad was good but the pasta was a little boring. Can t remember which one I got. Sat on the patio, and saw Drake actually walk by and walk in. Pretty cool but I think a tad over rated. Maybe I got the wrong dish...

Automatic five stars for their mushroom pasta. In my opinion, the best in Toronto and I'm always telling new friends about it. I've had other items on the menu but it's this pasta that keeps me coming back.

This was my boyfriend and I's first experience at this restaurant on Monday August 28 at 8pm and they made us wait too long for everything. Food was good but the service was terrible. They made us wait 10min for water and we had to ask for water ourselves, we waited 30min for our appetizer, and over 30min for our meal. The server did not even apologize for the long wait. On top of everything we were celebrating my boyfriends birthday... not considering coming back here.

the mushroom pasta is honestly the best pasta dish i have ever had! the servers are very friendly and the food was amazing! the food is a bit pricey but for the quality of the food and atmosphere it is definitely worth it. they have a large patio selection with a nice scenic view. i will be returning as the food was amazing! 10/10

The food is good, and the price reflects the amount you get. Very tight and packed when the restaurant is crowded. Unfortunately had to hear an employee swear out loud.

Love the food and very well priced for being in Yorkville. The lady who works the door/front is always so nice and accommodating. The truffle pasta is delicious as is the hot cheese plate!

A very nice and romantic place, if only a bit pricey. The pasta is very good, specially the capellini, and the meatball appetizer is a must have. If you like a strong coffee flavored tiramisu, this is not the place to order one, though.

Have been to Trattoria Nervosa many time but came this time for a friend s birthday and our server, David, really went above and beyond to make our experience special! Great personality, amazing food and an awesome experience all around. Highly recommended :)

I visited Nervosa as a birthday dinner. We sat on the street level patio as it was shade protected. Started with the asiago and I had the very rich, absolutely delicious Mafalde ai Funghi as the main. SO good, I enjoyed every single bite. Our waitress had a great personality, very likeable and bubbly and recommended a great wine pairing as well. Will definitely be a return customer

I have been here many times, this is one of my favourite restaurants in Yorkville. But last night we did not have a good experience with the food. The margarita pizza was missing the the fresh mozzarella cheese. The fughi pasta was a smaller portion. We were not offered Parmesan cheese and bread. Also disappointed that they don t carry Cabernet red wine. I had the alternative which is not comparable.

The food is ok, nothing too special. There is a line to get in, the service is good and the prices are reasonable. I paid in a pasta with bolognese sauce 18 dollars.

Over rated Italian fare at yorkville prices ! Terrible service to go with the very average dishes ! Maybe it's Lesson not to dine in Yorkville on a Saturday night , and certainly not at this place .

We had a great experience! Went with a group on a Friday night, the wait was about 45 min, not too bad - plenty of places nearby to grab a drink. We had David as our server who was amazing! Super sweet/ friendly and made great suggestions :)

It's really good, but my expectations were higher. For the price there is much better Italian in the city. Service sucked, but it was after pride so I'm willing to attribute it to higher than average volume

To be honest, I don't know what I ordered, but it was really good. But I like this one best. Have a nice Thanksgiving lunch with some dry white wine and good friends. The staff who served us had very friendly moustaches. Great service! The restaurant came a second time! Nice taste

It's all about the Insalata di cavolo nero (kale salad) and the Mafalde al funghi (mushroom pasta in truffle and cream sauce) for me! Delicious! It can be a hit or miss though with who is in the kitchen in terms of the amount of truffle flavour you will get.

I have lost count of how many times we have been there but every time I just leave the place disappointed i guess I am waiting for a plate to really call my attention but other than that you are not loosing anything by not going Terroni or Scaddabush I believe will provide you with something better. Also the service is something I can't swallow the way they treat you sometimes.....

I dropped in this restaurant with my friend. The taste is amazing.

They have a few gluten free option available. I love the short rib. This is some classic italian food made with high quality ingredients. It's a busy place but worth the wait. Get take out if you don't want to wait you will be pleased. Their booze menu is fantastic. Their specialty drinks have some Italian favorites, that many Canadians don't know about.

I loved hearing the owner on the Joe Rogan podcast. The owner Janet zuccarini and chef Felix were excellent on the podcast. Hopefully you can get Felix to toronto to work as a guest chef in for a month, I really want to try his food.

Classic southern Italian food. Delicious and well prepared. Perhaps one of the best Italian food I have in Toronto. They don't take reservation so be ready to wait a bit. We were lucky and didn't wait at all on a Saturday night, but when we left there was a line up. Upstairs and downstairs; I would not know what to pick. Beautiful restaurant and great food, prices are in line with Italian restaurant in Toronto.
