I went first time for eyebrows and there is staff very nice, but I don't like eyebrows they made horrible no perfect shape some hair left on middle place it's horrible experience about eyebrows I had never before like that who make, and in spent 15 dollars horrible horrible never go back again for eyebrows..

I took my gf there for a spa day for her birthday. She had a facial, massage, mani, and pedi done. Now the facial and massage she said were wonderful. And she really enjoyed it. But the mani and pedi is what we are here to talk about. When i say it was terrible i mean it was terrible. Like disgustingly terrible. There was paint all over her skin. It was sloppy and embarrassing. She didn t even show me until we got home (an hour away) because she didn t want me to be upset. I did try to call the next day but the phone just rang and rang. Had i seen them while i was there i would have said something. But to little to late now. The people were super nice. But the nails was horrendous.
Cindy is my hair dresser and colors, cuts and styles my hair doing a lovely job. She does my hair exactly as I ask. I was familiar with Tranquility but did not call for an appointment until restrictions were lifted from the lockdown for the coronavirus. I am very pleased that I began having my hair done there.
This is my fave spa in Louisville. Even though I moved about 15 miles away a few years ago, I still return. The new owners are amazing, Victoria is a fabulous massage therapist, and I always feel pretty and happy after being there.
I am definitely coming back! I had a massage with Victoria, nails by Angela, and a facial by Renee. Everything was amazing, I am so happy and feel so pampered <3
My friend and I went to Tranquility salon and spa today and both received 1 hour full body massages. It was absolutely amazing!!! The salon was very clean and nice and all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was my first full body massage and Elisha walked me through everything and made sure I was very comfortable. My friend and I both loved our experiences and plan on returning. I would definitely recommend this salon!!

Mani and pedi were ok at best. My nails weren't even fully painted. The girl who did them was super sweet and had a great personality.
The massage therapist was nice but I feel like she ignored my main concerns as far as targeted spots.
This was a gift, so I can't complain too much, but I wouldn't spend that kind of money there twice.
Great personalities and environment, but as far as delivery of what you are selling was below my expectations.
As a gift from my boyfriend to pamper myself for a day, I didn't want to tell him that I was extremely disappointed in his choice of salons.
Without a doubt, Leslie at Tranquility is the best LMT I've ever visited.
I had experienced low back pain since an auto accident in 2001. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being worst, I was never below a 3 or 4. Leslie used various techniques including cupping which worked wonders. I am nearly pain free these days and it is never above a 1 or 2 at the most.
The staff at Tranquility are all wonderful.

I absolutely loved my experience at this salon. I am extremely picky when I comes to my hair. I had a referral from one of my friends to see Michele. The front desk girl was amazing, and extremely friendly. It helped calm my nerves about getting my hair cut (I havent in over 2 years). When I met Michele, and she got me in the chair. She listened and saw my requests. She was upfront about the costs before she even started. During the entire time of the coloring and cut. It was amazing and the conversations were friendly as well. With it all said and done... I am so happy with my hair. I'm in love with it.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience there. He got a massage, and I got a facial. I felt that they were very knowledgeable about skincare and tailoring they facial to my needs. The salon aesthetic was very pleasing. I would love to go back very soon!
I will NEVER go back to this facility again. I booked two appointments online through Webopenings, Tranquility's vendor for an online booking application and an app you have to book through in order to receive certain discounted rates for open appointments in the near term and you pay in advance. I booked a facial and massage a couple of days ago, came out in the rain, and drove 25 minutes only to be told my appointment had been cancelled when I arrived. I received no notification of this, and they claim a cancellation was sent to a via text to a number I have never heard of. My appointments were confirmed via email, so why wouldn t a cancellation come via email as well? They said this cancellation via text was all automated in Webopenings, but the number they mentioned the text was sent to did not exist in my profile when I logged into Webopenings when standing right there in front of them. The only number in my profile is my cell phone. The reason I will never go back is instead of offering something to make this situation right, they treated me like I made a mistake and like I was an idiot from the second I walked in the door. They were very unfriendly and rude. I ll gladly take my money and go somewhere else. This is not how I want to be treated when I go to relax at a spa .
Going to keep this short and sweet, best massage I have ever had! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the salon was clean, and Elisha is amazing at what she does. I booked an hour long deep tissue massage and half way through I even requested to extend it to an hour and a half. I feel like a new person, most definitely will be back!!
My husband got an appointment for our anniversary and drove over an hour for this but the store was not even open so my husband called the store but the lady who works here had no clue about our appointment and was told it wasn't the time he was told so waited hours but right before I get into the store my baby got sick and had leaked poop so we cancelled the appointment :-( my baby have had bad leak few times the day and with this and that made our anniversary to worst day :-( I could have enjoy the spa if they didn't tell my husband wrong time... Very sad. *** The lady who was on the phone said 9AM and my husband didn't check his email***

I went to get a shellac French manicure for a friend's wedding and Ilena did a well enough job and said a color change was only $14 so I returned two weeks later after scheduling an appointment with whom I believe was the owner. Having never gotten a color change before I wondered why I was there so long and she was shaping my nails after shellac removal and followed with cuticle treatment. When finished the owner said I owed $40 for a full shellac manicure. I feel it was a bait and switch since I said on the phone I wanted a color change but the nail technician didn't confirm with me prior to services. On top of this the color job she did is serviceable but not up to my high standards so I won't be back which is a shame since I'm in the market for a couples spa day within the next few weeks and had been considering this establishment.
I was volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul where we collect donations for the homeless which is next door to the salon. Some nice people brought some nice furniture of theirs to donate, and as we are about to move it inside one of the salon's hairstylists takes one of the tables without purchasing it. She tries to carry it off to the salon and it breaks in the process because she dropped it. Then she gives the pieces back to us to throw away and laughs it off. She did not apologize. That table was going to be sold at the thrift shop and the proceeds would've gone towards St. Vincent's initiatives for the homeless. She essentially stole church property and made it impossible for any money from that table to go to the homeless. When I went into the salon after volunteering, I told the lady who was working at the front desk about the incident and they were very unresponsive and did not apologize. I cannot speak to their salon abilities, but a salon that employs people like this who actively steal money from the homeless and not apologize for it is ridiculous. I for one will never go to this salon.
I came here in a pinch, and although the staff were friendly, the facial was the worst I've ever had. My usual place charges $85, but I get a short back massage and masque, hand and scalp massage, and at least two masques along with your typical facial. For $70 here I got basically what I do to myself at home. I also, specifically said I was going to an event that night and just wanted a nice facial-glow, instead I got a splotchy chin that came through my makeup. I will never go back, and was really disappointed.
I moved to Louisville about 2 months ago and looked online for somewhere to get my hair cut and highlighted and came across Tranquility. I was able to make an appointment quickly and as soon as I got to the salon the entire staff was very warm and welcoming. My appointment was with Michele and she was wonderful. She really listens to what you want and helps you achieve your ideal look, plus she teaches you little tricks and tips throughout the appointment. I loved my cut and my color looked great, so I made an appointment for my boyfriend, too. Michele also did a great job on his hair. I have since been back for waxing with Oxsana and she was amazing. She made me feel very relaxed and she is quick and efficient. I am so glad I found this salon, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience for a great price!
I recently got a a high stress job in the Louisville area and upon getting here was in desperate need of finding someone to cut my hair. I had heard some very positive things about Tranquility Salon & Spa from a coworker and was eager to give it a shot. I've always been very picky regarding my appearance since my job involves a lot of interaction with other people, so naturally I was a little apprehensive. However all my initial fears subsided as soon as Avdo finished cutting my hair. Perhaps the best result of the visit were the many compliments I received short after from both coworkers and clients, regarding my new haircut. Since my initial haircut I have also added facials from Oksana and they too have turned out very well. I would recommend Tranquility Salon & Spa to anyone new in the Louisville area.
I bought a gift card here & the staff were extremely nice & helpful. They went over the options they offered & even hand wrapped the gift box in front of me.
I love, love, love my new cut and color. Michele did an amazing job and really listened to me when we talked about what I wanted. I will definitely be back and plan to try some of their other services in the future.
I spent my birthday at Tranquility Spa and it was the best birthday yet! I had the best facial and then a massage and the I got my hair trimmed. I have been to this spa several times and I live almost 2 hours away. It was awesome
I can not say enough nice things about this salon and my stylist Michelle. I originally found them after visiting a spa in AZ that uses Eminence face/body products. When I found they a local salon too I soon switched and met Michelle. She too is from IN and is so kind. Not only is she relatable but she does a very professional job on my hair. They offer the best products and are not pushing to buy them. I always look forward to my next visit! Thank you!

Bought myself a spa package including a massage, facial, and mani-pedi. When I came in, somehow the system had deleted my appointment. BUT they rectified it quickly and got me in for all the services I wanted. Everyone who worked on me was awesome. They thoroughly explained everything they were going to do beforehand so I would know what was coming next. They did let me know about products, but much better than most other places where you get a 'hard sell' approach. It was mostly just to let me know what they were using on me and that it was available. Awesome experience! Hope to go back soon.
Can't say enough good things about this place. I've been here a few times for massage, facial, pedicures individually or together. It's relaxing, efficient, great masseurs. Everyone is extremely nice and accommodating.
Best experience I ve ever had at a salon from the first moment I walked through the door. The staff makes you feel right at home. And that has stayed the same with my every visit. My stylist Tyler is the best. He pays attention to what you re looking for and suggests things that he feels you ll be comfortable with in trying.
This was the worst hair dye I ever had and they refused to refund my money. I wish I could upload photos....please do not go here an pay 150 for color that isnt correct. Went in and showed the "partial" owner the results and no money was returned. They wanted me to let them do it again! If you cant do it right the first time why would I want someone else to do it from the same shop and damage my hair? That's nonsense. Also they say they dont do refunds yet in the comments below it states they have a 100% money back guarantee if your not satisfied . I will not go back, I myself could have done a better job an for that kind of money next time I will.
I have been going to Tranquillity salon and spa for 5-6 years now and I've been so happy there that I refuse to go anywhere else. I love everyone who works there. They are warm, caring, wonderful people who are willing to do anything to make you feel gorgeous and beautiful. As someone who doesn't feel that way on a daily basis, it means a lot to me to get compliments on my gorgeous hair and eyebrows! Cindy has been my hairdresser for all the years I've been going here and she knows EVERYTHING about my life and I absolutely love talking to her. WOW! I had never heard of reflexology and the receptionist told me about it
when I called to make an appointment for me and my daughter. It sounded wonderful as I am on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day at work. It was worth it!!!! I will be returning for this again! April was my massage therapist for the reflexology and she did fantastic. She is always helpful and gives great tips to help in everyday life. I have always had great experiences at Tranquility and they will continue to get my future visits, as they are always nice and helpful.

I Do not recommend this salon/"spa". I had a Mani-Pedi performed here.
The russian manicurist held little consideration for my sensitive hands though mentioning my pain several times during the session.
My nail polish came off within hours of the service.
The facility does not seem to be overly concerned with cleanliness.
I was very concerned that I would end up with a nail fungus given that they use the same bottle of cuticle oil and the same dropper on all clients.
The service felt exceedingly rushed even though there was no one waiting for another service by this woman.
Highly disappointed!

I work a very demanding job with long crazy hours and have two young children, so time for me is precious. I love tranquility because they always fit me in (sometimes with less than 12 hours notice). EVERYONE, seriously, everyone is nice and willing to do whatever it takes to make you happy. I have had multiple services here and everything has been great. Rachel is pretty awesome. She does my hair and waxing and she's wonderful! The staff is focused on their customers, there's no visible drama going on which sometimes at other salons you can sense the tension upon walking in. They get you in and out, which for me is amazing. I highly recommend Tranqulity for any salon or spa service you may need.

I started using Michelle when she started, and have had no regrets since. Michelle is very communicative about her services and pricing, and the work she does on my hair is nothing short of being the best. I leave the salon happy and satisfied every time. Michelle really knows how to work your hair for you, your lifestyle, skin tone, and face to body shape. She better not ever leave... My hair wouldn't know what to do without her!
Michele does a great job on my hair! I've been coming here for about 6 months and have been happy every time. She listens to what you want but isn't afraid to make recommendations. Front desk staff has always been super sweet too.

Everyone here is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Michele is a fantastic stylist. She listens carefully before she begins so you get what you want. She cuts and colors my hair beautifully in the style I request. My daughter and girls get their hair done by Michele as well and they enjoy each visit and have beautiful hair!
Will not be going back anymore....not sure why my hair was completely butchered considering it was going so well...at least I thought it was. I haven't been able to even call back to say I want it fixed considering it is so badly butchered up....its going to be a while before I can even get a trim...:-(!

So I consulted with 3 different (have one more to go) salons to find a new hairdresser, since my hair is so completely butchered...each of them said that the hairdresser knew she messed up but kept going to try to fix it instead of stopping. I can't pin up my hair or leave it loose nor can I tie it up it is so butchered....even a hair band does not help.....the only solution is to loose my below neck length hair into a short pixie cut to actually fix it & start all over....Cindy I would've appreciated it if you had stopped when you realized you made a mistake....you used me as a guinea pig to try out a new haircutting technique you learnt....customers want hairdressers to keep their skills updated but please don't use customers as mannequins to master the new techniques....I will never recommend Tranquility Salon & Spa to anyone....good luck.
My first time here was on Saturday and it was the BEST decision ever. It had been a while since my last massage and Leslie made my first time back so wonderful! I am thankful for her and her hands and can t wait for my next one. Great clean place and wonderful staff.
Got a gift card to tranquility came for one massage which was fine, but then later call back to make another apt with remaining $70 and they said my gift card had expired..... No one had told me anything about an expiration, nor did they do anything to make it right. Will not do business here again, that's not right. Waste of money.
I have been visiting Tranquility Salon and Spa for over a year and a half. I have been blonde, blonde with teal, red, and now back to my original color of dark brown. Julie has done a fantastic job with all of my sporadic changes and making each transition beautiful. She is not afraid to tell me how a color is going to turn out on my hair and next to my skin tone, and she is very patient with my indecisive requests. Her haircuts keep my hair healthy and easy to manage. I have not had to get my hair thinned once since she started doing my layers. And, she is the first stylist I have had cut my bangs perfectly. They offer a complimentary bang trim between haircuts, which they're able to squeeze in quickly when my schedule permits. I have never had trouble getting a receptionist on the phone to schedule an appointment. I had Avdo do my hair once when Julie was unavailable, and he did a terrific job as well. If I ever had to have any other services done I would try Tranquility first. The staff and customers are friendly and happy to be there. Highly recommend!
I had a positive experience at this amazing spa. The staff is friendly and helpful. The spa is very cute and comfortable. The facials are really effective and lovely. The massages I have had are the best I have ever had. I love the beauty products this spa carries. I have started booking monthly massages and facials. Prices are reasonable. This is a really a wonderful spa with a hard working staff. They do have a really generous loyalty program.
Amber did my hair yesterday and it looks great! I'm so happy I found this salon and spa. Everyone is very nice and professional, and I've been very happy every time I've gone. What a gem nestled in Middletown!
