Our boys love Trails End Camp! It is their happy place and summer home! They have made lifelong friendships here and have the time of their lives every summer! The camp itself is beautiful and well-run, with the facilities being constantly updated. We also love that the camp is family run and owned, and we thank the Goldberg and Honingfeld families for giving our boys a magical place to love for many summers to come.

Trail's End provides a safe and nourishing environment that enables children to thrive while having fun. Their motto of 'attitude not aptitude' encourages children to try something new without a fear of failure. A camper can play any type of sport, can star in a musical or dramatic production, can learn to master their huge outdoor adventure park and even star in a Rock Band production. The possibilities are endless! Rona and Marc are hands-on camp directors who are the most generous camp directors around. They invest heavily every year in order to make sure Trail's End has state of the art equipment and new and improved facilities. They are loving, warm and friendly and are always engaged with both campers and counselors. I couldn't recommend a camp more highly! Once you attend Trail's End you will be Better for Having Been.
I have worked two summers at Trail's End and every summer has been a life changing experience. When you're there it feels like a giant family reunion and when you're away you find yourself looking at the calendar counting down the days til you get to be back in the 18405. I couldn't recommend a better place to work.

I was a camper at Trails End Camp in the late eighties and early nineties. I was also a camper waiter in the early nineties. We used to tell the campers that tonight was pee soup but we were only kidding. Also, we would just throw all the napkins and silverware in the middle of the table. The good old days. No computers, no phones, etc. Shout out to all the people I used to go to camp with. I miss you and hope everyone is doing great. Peace.
Attending Trails End Camp during this past summer was a life changing experience that I will never forget. This summer was my first time ever attending a summer camp and I worked as a lifeguard at the camp's lakeside attractions. The owners and staff were very inviting and welcomed me to their family as if I had been there my whole life. The camp is very well established and has great buildings as well as unique features that make it truly breathtaking. There are dozens of great spots across the campus to hang out with friends as well as enjoy the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside. The interactions between staff and kids are priceless memories that I have got to witness as well as be a part of during my time at Trails End. I would highly recommend visiting and learning more about this camp if you are interested as a counselor or a camper because Trails End Camp is a true home away from home.
Trail s End Camp... where do I start? The summer of 2018 was my first summer as a general counselor at TEC and I had very minimal knowledge on what I would be getting myself into. As a college student from Atlanta I knew I d be out of my natural element and I wouldn t know a single person when I got there. But immediately I felt comfortable and at home like I was supposed to be there even though there was nobody I could immediately find myself relating to. But just the great energy of returning staff and leadership make you know that you belong and you ll do great. Fast forward to now and the summer of 2021 should be my fourth summer at my summer home & I m just as excited as ever. My favorite thing about TEC are the bonds that you make with your fellow staff members and campers, as some of these bonds last for life and I myself, have gained numerous friends that I still speak to everyday and I know are lifelong friends that I probably would ve never had met without stepping outside my comfort zone and going to Trail s End Camp. I would most definitely recommend coming to TEC for any kids who are in or out of their comfort zone who are looking to have the best summer ever; and for staff members who are around college age to explore a new side of themselves, grow in ways they never expected, and have the best summer they never knew they were missing!

Trails End is THE most amazing place!!! I grew up there in the 90 s and now my daughter is making her own memories, and loving every minute! I have two younger kids who are counting down the days until they are old enough to join her. You could not find a camp that has more love, more spirit, or more of that family feel that we were looking for. We know our kids are safe, well cared for, and having the time of their lives. Stan, Starr, Marc and Rona truly care about making sure all the kids are happy and making long lasting, meaningful connections. I will never forget the time I spent there and I feel beyond lucky and blessed to be able to offer my kids the same experience. We are Trails End!!
Trail's End Camp is an absolutely amazing place. I have worked there for the past 4 summers, and truly can't wait every year to head back up for another crazy, fun, and memorable summer. I have made lifelong friends with people I would have NEVER met without TEC. The bonds made with other staff and the campers are memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. The Goldbergs and Honigfelds welcome everyone into the Trail's End Family with open arms. The facilities are amazing, the landscape is beautiful and the people are the most genuine. Working at TEC has truly shaped me as a person I am today. I would recommend TEC to any college student looking for the summer of their life! Working at camp is a unique experience you won't find anywhere else!

Little did I know, it would have such a huge impact on my life. I went to Trail s End for 14 summers - as a camper, counselor, and then as a group leader. Trail s End provided me with a safe place where I could be myself. The Goldberg s and Honigfeld s are amazing and have created an environment for children to grow and thrive. To this day, my best friends are my camp friends. I owe so much to Trail s End and would recommend it to anyone looking for the best summer camp experience!
All 3 of my kids grew up at TEC. Best place ever and best owners you could ever ask for. Wish we could rewind time and go back to those days of V-Day and camp packing. So grateful for Trails End Camp, always !!
Where to begin? An ordinary guy, coming out of college stumbled upon a job working at a summer camp, and little did he know, it would change his entire life. Coming to Trails End Camp 5 years ago, I really had no idea what to expect. Growing up, I never had the opportunity to have a camp experience, but was always fascinated by it. I stepped out on a whim and decided this is where my path would take me, and at that moment, a summer job turned into memories, friendships, and family that will last a lifetime.
I remember my first day arriving in Beach Lake, Pennsylvania. Driving from New Hampshire, it took me a little longer than 7 hours to arrive at Trails End. I was very excited about this new journey I was going on, but was also nervous. I didn t know anyone there, I wasn t familiar with the area, everything was brand new to me. I pulled into the parking lot, parked my car, and was greeted instantly by all the friendly staff. That night, all the nervousness went away. The staff made me feel so welcome and I settled right into my new home for the summer.
5 summers have gone by since that day, and I continuously find myself counting the days until the next. Every summer brings new memories and new friendships but the magic is always the same. Once you enter Trails End, it s almost like walking through a portal from the rest of the world. It s the one place where it feels like anyone can truly be themselves without hesitation. You are encouraged to step out of your comfort zone and be the best version of yourself that you ve always wanted to be. Over my time at Trails End, I ve done some things that I never thought was possible. I ve danced on tables, performed on a stage in front of hundreds of people, painted my entire body blue, dressed up in many costumes, and became quite the competitive square dancer. I also pushed my fear of heights to new boundaries, learned how to water-ski, developed my leadership skills, and became a better person. Truthfully, I would not be the person I am today without Trails End Camp.
Better for having been . This is a saying you hear a lot around Trails End Camp. It s simple but perfect. It embodies everyone who has ever been a part of Trails End Camp. Present, past, or future. Camper or staff member. No matter if you ve only spent 2 months in Beach Lake, PA, or close to 20 years. Once you ve experienced a summer at Trails End Camp, not only will you have made an impact on Trails End, but it will have made an everlasting impact on you.
The magic of Trails End wouldn t be possible without the staff and its leadership. Marc Honigfeld, and his entire family, truly embody what is good in this world. No matter where you come from, they welcome you into their family with open arms and a smile. No matter where my path takes me, they will always be a part of my family. I will never be able to thank them enough for believing in me, and for the privilege of being a part of something that is truly special.
If you re reading this and are wondering if this is the right job for you, I can promise you one thing. You will always get what you put in. If you come into Trails End with an open mind and a positive attitude, you will truly leave Trails End, better for having been. I know I have.

Seemingly small campground but is actually very large with lots of facilities and enthusiastic staff. I've never heard the roar of 800 excited happy kids, like I did when we gave them a surprise laser show.
I hate this camp and everyone in it. The cheerleading uca camp held at trails end can freak off!
This place is amazing, they're responsible they take a really good care of the kids and the to the people who work there, I had a very good experience working there in 2007 it was wonderful, I really miss everyone, I have 2 kids and I want they to live that extraordinary experience
TEC is our summer home. From the minute we meet at the airport to fly north, we click right into place with our extended TEC family. Once we arrive at camp and see all of our friends it s like we never left. Trails End Camp has created that. It s given my kids friendships that I can already see will last them a lifetime. It s provides them with an experience that can t be replicated elsewhere. As a South Florida family, my kids can t wait to be up at TEC with its rolling hills, lush trees and a gorgeous lakefront. We like to say that our kids are Better for Having Been. We are indeed.
Life changing! Trails End Camp has been the most amazing experience for all 3 of my kids. They have made lifelong friends and have have loved the diverse activities from flag football and photography to hockey and gymnastics. The facilities are top notch and always being renovated. The lake is their favorite, beautiful and crazy fun!
