Great place to take a day trip down the river! The friendly and helpful staff make check in so easy and explain everything you need to know to have an awesome time.

We once again had a great experience taking our cross country team down the river. The staff was great with the reservation, transporting and unloading our canoes and getting us started on our trip. We always look forward to ending our cross country camp with the canoe trip with the Trading Post.

Highly recommend camping and kayaking/canoeing at the Trading Post! The campsite was very clean, including the bath house which was small but better than other sites I have been to in the past. The staff are very nice and helpful. Reasonably priced campsites so I am overall very happy with my visit to the Trading Post.

Was an awesome time for sure. The staff were all very nice and helpful. We did the 327 on Saturday and on Sunday we went clear to Ontario Dam in an off and on rain shower. We always have good memories from the Trading post. I always laugh when we get on a short bus!! Even though we only live 40 miles away we would drive 100 miles to get there! Thanks again and we will definitely be returning for another adventure.

Great atmosphere, you'll always meet new people along the way, staff is excellent, they're getting to know me and the husband by name now. This is the place to stay if you love the outdoors.

We went on a Canoe trip in it was a for blast! Before we left the trading post to start our kayak trip the employees were extremely helpful! And when we got back they were right there waiting for us!! Higly recomend using them!!!!

Had a blast canoeing down the pigeon River. Good current people were friendly. Sites were well shaded we parked a 30 ft camper.

We received quality informative service throughout the booking experience. I loved the followup emails that contained next steps as well as it built excitement! We had an excellent day out of pigeon river and all the staff involved helped this to be a positive experience that makes us want to come back. We had a group of 5 couples and everyone felt the same! Always a great experience here! Staff is super friendly and helpful. The canoes iin great condition and paddles too. They give you a map and explain the course to you before you leave so you know where to get off. The river is beautiful and peaceful.

Beautiful campground, right on the river. Clean facilities. Friendly and kind staff. I did the kayaking trip from Refuge Bridge, and it was spectacular. The water is clear, good flow, there are lots of bends and turns to keep you on your toes. It is a well maintained section. Lots of birding along the way. I brought my bike and biked some of the roads around the Pigeon River Fish & Wildlife area, which was beautiful and remote, some roads are gravel. All in all, Pigeon Creek is a great paddle, the area is beautiful, and I couldn't have asked for a better campground. My favorite part was the three duck welcoming committee. :)

Friendly service and I highly recommending reserving your canoes online. it saved us probably 30 minute to check in.

The river is fun and it is a little costly. The whole campcite and river is awesome.

Booked two nights tent camping and kayaking. Staff friendly, camp ground clean. Ability to control loud group of drunken senior citizens after 11 p.m. unacceptable. Won't be back.

We have found our favorite conoe company in our area, in this place! The staff is always friendly and always seem interested in how your trip went upon your return. We just scheduled another trip with them that includes 14 boats and 20 individuals. The last two trips I scheduled online and had to add people to the trips within a week of the scheduled trip. I call and there has never been a problem adding people! They have several different trip options to choose from also.

BEST PLACE TO CAMP...SHADY TREES, NONE STOP ROLLING RIVER RIGHT BESIDE U AS U SLEEP.....THE BEST!

Staff for camping and the store was very rude, staff for canoeing were excellent and helpful. Campgrounds were not taken care of as far as trees overgrown and saw another camper hit a tree branch that should have been cut down. Not made for campers 20' and bigger. Showers were small and dirty.

We have done this trip the last 4 years with the guys from the office. the ladies at the office have everything ready for you, they walk you though if your a newbie. the guys loading and driving you there are great and friendly, everyone has smiles. then at the end of the long fun day, they are there to help you out of the river. Great time. refuge bridge takes 4-6 hours depending on stops, bring water socks with a good tread. sandals will get lost unless they have a strap around the heal. Fully enclosed sandals will collect rocks in them and drive you crazy. Aqua socks have worked the best, but a good tread is recommended. Bring a dry bag or water proof box for valuables, they will get wet. Do a sit on Kayak or bring your own. Quick drying clothes and swim trunks/suits highly recommended.

A fantastic trip. We did the Spero 10-mile trip and you really can't ask for anything more scenic.

The staff have excellent hospitality! We were a 30 mins late getting to our finish point from kayaking; where the staff was waiting on us. They didn't give us any attitude, they were friendly as could be.
They have very clean and private bathroom/changing room area.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Someone in our group even requested a certain color of kayak and they did it.
There were more turtles to see on the river than I've ever seen in one area.

Was me and my boyfriend's first time coming here to the Trading Post love that we had a large tent perfect size spot for it right on the river quiet peaceful love the trip down the river first time kayaking and they were so helpful will definitely be coming back

Staff is always friendly and helpful. We camped on a very busy Labor Day weekend and the owners and staff were working hard! We ve camped with them many times and each time we ve received the same excellent customer service. They treat you like
Family! Always a good time at the trading post!

Campground was nice. Extra port-a-potties would be nice in the primitive site area though, and a second lane for the entrance/exit so cars dont get backed up. Convenient for a day on the river.

This was my first time there and everyone was super friendly and the kayaking was fabulous

We had an AMAZING time here!!!! Everything was friendly and done correctly w/out error in the reservations etc....The campground and facilities were very clean, and a pretty stron setting with the river flowing right thru the campground!! Tons of shade which was really nice! And it's quiet enough & equipped with a playground to be family friendly, but also not uptight so our group could seamlessly enjoy our "adult weekend" trip without feeling out of place! We will DEFINITELY be back & have told all our friends!!!!

I had a really great time at the Trading Post on Saturday! The staff was really great and wonderful the entire time from the check-in to the pick up time. Jesse was especially helpful!

Loved this place! We kayaked and had a great time. They were very organized and had plenty of boats. And they took credit cards.

I really wanted to like this place...
We drove over an hour and booked this trip two weeks prior. When we arrived we were told of a time constraint. A group of 6 people, 13 miles and had to be back in 4.5 hours or less. We felt so rush that we couldn't even enjoy ourselves. We arrived late back to shore and before we could get out of the water the guy was telling us there is a $50/hr late fee!!!
I guess if they were closing early, I wish they would have told me two weeks ago before planning this trip. It was supposed to be a special trip for us that turn into me paying an extra $100 and the guy had the nerve to say
"oh , the fee is too much for me to even ask for" oh, but you took it anyways...
RIVER RUN IS MORE LAID BACK AND IS PET FRIENDLY!!!!!

Always have a good time, but the prices are getting out of hand!

Myself, my husband, and four of our friends went last weekend and had a great experience. The mosquitoes were quite the problem but staff was fogging twice a day and they had citronella candles available for purchase on site as well as a variety of bug sprays. We did the Refuge Bridge kayaking trip and it was quite enjoyable. Especially as staff takes the time to make sure the river is clean. I will definitely go back again the next chance I get!

If you love the outdoors, I recommend this place! Friendly staff and dog lovers! That sums it up!

Great place to float! Lots of options for trips and very convenient to push off and get back to base. Shower, changing and bathrooms are clean and convenient. River is scenic and fun!

Knowledgeable, Friendly staff; Clean facilities and fairly priced. Mongo is easy to get to, and the kayak and canoe rental was very convenient. I definitely will return and recommend the Trading Post to my friends and family!

Campsites were a good size, we had a great time, however the bathroom situation is NOT good, we got there Friday and the porta pottys were disgusting and were never cleaned , ww were told they only dumped once a week Monday.

Have been here several times and love it! Very clean, great staff, they launch river trips right from the campground, if I could think of more awesome stuff to say about them right now I would!!

We go to Trading Post at least once every year. This last trip (second this year) was for a bachelorette party. It was so nice and peaceful on the river. Not many people on the river and the leaves were starting to change color. If you haven't made a fall trip down the river you might want to consider doing so! The owners and staff are always great! They are helpful, fun, and always willing to help make your trip the best it can be! We love Trading Post!!

Loved the spyro route. Our bus driver was very UNfriendly, thank goodness it was a short ride!

Staff is very helpful and accommodating! Boats & equipment are clean and safe. They have a variety of trip options as far as length and experience. We go at least once each summer and I look forward to it all year. Love this place and their staff.

Went the extra mile to get me on the river as a solo tripper. I will say the first half of Spero was quite challenging. Would recommend having some skills before taking it. The second half you could probably nap and make it back. :)
