Tractor Tavern Reviews

Some of the best concerts I've seen in Seattle have been at the Tractor. It is a 21 and over hot spot for regular concert lineups. They bring in bands from all over, not just locals. Despite the country decor, they host a wide range of music genres, so YouTube the bands ahead of time to know what your getting into.

Sound is good, but viewing angles are not great in this room. They have some high end acts but it's not the best venue to see them.

Love the Tractor. An excellent place to play. And to see a band. Always a bright light on a tour itinerary.

Great small venue for a wide variety of music acts. Most recently saw Gaelic Storm here who were fantastic. The venue is crowded but intimate, the bar has an excellent selection, and the location is great.

The sound is better now that they ve renovated this is a great place to square dance.

Came here for a concert. Crazy packed. Staff didn't seem happy to be there. We left after about an HR.

This is a rad place to see music. The stage is above the ground so there's a good separation from performers and fans. The sound really good too. They don't have any seating though, so prepare to stand all night. The bathrooms desperately need help too... Please support your local bathroom remodel.

I will never come here again. The so called owner is extremely rude. He should live by the sign they have up "be nice or leave". Very combative during our first encounter checking in. I had taken my ID out, my friend thought this was just for the tickets and told me I didn't need it yet, he corrected her and she apologized and told him she thought this was just for the tickets. Then he needed to inform us this is his bar and we need to listen to him. Had a water cup snatched out of my hand because he thought it was a drink, he should be more concerned about over serving people to the point they can't walk. That water cup was for an extremely intoxicated person. No one including the patrons were pleasant. Several altercations with extremely drunk and rude people.

What a fun place! The band we saw was really good, small little place but everyone fit just perfectly. Also, the drinks were STRONG! If you want your moneys worth in drinks, this is the place OMG! Seriously. Great location too. Surrounded by so many little shops and restaurants, this area is really awesome. I will be back.

Really nice bar keep, tasty beverages & live music in an alt-indi environ. A Ballard original that hasn't yuppy-fied yet. Come here for tasty beverages and great live music. They also feature a holiday show called "the handmade arcade", which features famous local artists and makers of beautiful things.

Great place with a very nice band the night where we went there.

Seen many shows here, great space for a small venue never have to wait long for the bar water readily available. Decent sound.

Great venue for live music. I highly recommend the square dancing nights as well.

One of the old school Seattle music venues. Highly recommended. Always few local beers one tap. Fun crowd.

This place is a Ballard institution. Great venue for live music. Features both local acts and more notable ones as well. The country-western vibe oddly fits traditional Ballard values. Cash only cover charge. The bar is reasonably priced and does take cards. Servers are quick and attentive.

great place to see a show! you can sneak into the corals between the bar and the stage for a great elevated sightline and easy access to bar and the bathrooms.

Tractor Tavern is a pretty cool little venue. Tickets to events usually sell out quick here because it is a little bit small, but the acoustics are on point. The bar area gets a little packed so you may wait a bit for a drink. The staff is nice there and tickets are pretty cheap, and it is in a good neighborhood for drinks/dinner before hand.

One of my favorite places to see live music in Seattle. Great vibe, it's more intimate than most venues and they book fantastic musicians without charging a hefty cover.

Great venue with an amazing calendar. The space is split roughly in half, with a bar on one side and a stage on the other. The sound isn't bad on the bar side if you want to just hang out while the band is playing. They don't oversell the place, so even sold out shows are tolerable. Good beer list.

One of my favorite country venues in seattle always has great people playing in a small intimate venue!

Great music venue. See your favorite up and comers up close. Seating is very limited on most shows. Come early if standing is a problem. Great sound in an intimate room.

One of the to ten venues in Seattle. Small space with great sound. They have two bars, one next to the stage and another up front where you don't need a ticket.

Tractor Tavern has great sound, a good stage, excellent local and international acts, a cool atmosphere and a decent bar. Although country themed acts from all styles play here. This is a standing room only venue with some bench seating on the edges of the main floor - do not count on seeing anything while seated.

Great venue untouched by the extremely fast growth of gentrification and sterilization that is currently devouring our beautiful city of Seattle. Enjoy this gem while you still can!

I saw The Black Lillies here. Maybe the most fun I've had at a live show. They have beer too, so that's alright.

Amazing, small venue to see a range of eclectic acts, from world beat to Americana. Great drinks, brilliant club.

The music was fantastic!! Small, overpriced drinks, but the atmosphere was great. 8 dollar cover when we went.

Great venue! Slightly divy, I like it. Bathrooms aren't hotel status and the bar isn't serving craft drinks, but back to my first statement. Great venue!

Incredible show by Hayes Carll & the venue was pretty cool. Little smaller than we had anticipated but it made for a more intimate experience. We ll definitely be back!

love this music venue - divey but not too dirty and they get some great national acts to play in a fairly intimate setting.

Normally I wouldnt be so harsh but this issue became a huge deal for me. .

Im from halfway across the US. I went to see some live music and familiarize myself w Seattle. The music was awesome. The venue awesome. The drinks not outrageously priced. The bartenders attractive and friendly.

BUT THEY STUCK A PIN OR PEN TIP INTO THE STRIP OF MY CARD. DEAD CENTER. It wouldnt swipe. Its too well placed. They might've even done it accidentally. And it happened before I even wrote the tip in so it couldnt have been bc i was cheap.

But it became an issue bc at the time I was homeless in my car until my new apartment opened up. I couldnt get a replacement card mailed to me until I had a permanent address. Which means unless the place had a chip reader I was fkd. And for that.. yall get 1 star.

The pasta tastes chewy and fresh!! You can taste all the flavors in the sauce and it is evident Chef Marco uses only the finest ingredients!! Including love of course!! This place was so good I had to come back the next day to get food to go.

Great, historic Seattle music venue. I saw a couple of spectacular shows there while I was in Seattle.

Casual. Great staff. Reasonable prices and amazing talent. All to be had every visit to the Tractor. The intimate setting is perfect for acoustic sets, and rowdy rockers alike.

This is a great venue for live music! Intimate, fun and equipped with a speedy bar.

They book great bands, but a lot of people in the audience chat all the way through the shows and their voices carry there since it s just one big room with no real dividers. They are more out to socialize than to really listen to the music. I guess if you make good money in tech and have no dependents then a $25 cover doesn t seem like much. Also it can get packed and has few places to sit. You have to get there early and get close to the stage if you don t want to spend the night straining to make out a singer-songwriter s lyrics and patter.

Great, intimate venue absolutely horrible and rude staff at front. Yelled at young woman in front of me as she entered 2 seconds too soon, and made off-handed and offensive comments towards patrons as they showed their tickets on phone screens don t shine that in my face dimwit etc etc. The men running the front door are clearly on a power trip. Won t be coming back because of that. Ruined my experience & that of quite a few others. You guys need to do some serious re-staffing.

This place is amazing. Always great seeing a show here. I can't count how many times I've been to the tractor in the last 20 years, but I only had a bad time once; and that was an ex's fault, not the tractor's. If you like live music, you need to go there.

Bar and music venue with a distinctly country theme. Great drinks, amazing acoustics, and plenty of local bands make this a great weekend destination.

They get some good bands here. Plus it's not too big so it's a good place to see a show.
