Total disappointment for my wife and I. We belong to a local club and both wanted to play the stadium course. Course was beat up, bare fairways and chopped up greens. Obviously all the money goes toward reseeding and the Phoenix Open!

Beautiful golf course , amazing scenery around and the big open sky, the cactus and landscaping around the course is world class. If you are going for the waste management open get there early around 6 am or earlier if you plan to get a spot at the 6th hole grand stand ... great fun crowd , definitely something to experience... and I don t even enjoy golf as a spectator sport

Played the Stadium course in 2nd week of Sept. While the course is nice and decent our entire group felt it was WAY WAY OVERRATED with respect to the price. it is a nice course and decently maintained. but we played Ocotillo, Troon North, and Wildfire that weekend and we would play those again and again before we would ever pay money to play at TPC Scottsdale. those courses are beautiful and far more better maintained... i would not play here again period

Was there for the Waste Management Open practice rounds. Enjoyed it very much, staff was great, atmosphere was great and the facility was beautiful!! Would love to play a round but probably over my budget!

i only worked there, for the WM tou tournament. the people were on the most part. friendly. but i wouldnt hang out there. not my personal style. To much fake show offs. thats just my view. go and figure it out on your own. Its Snottsdale...the zip code says it all. over priced, for what is provided. again my personal view.

Looking to play a great game of golf, skip this place!!!!

If you like the constant buzz of airplanes, jets and helicopters this place is for you.
If you like rude rangers with an attitude, this place is for you.
If you like slow greens and fairways that will slow your drive to a crawl, this is the place for you.
If you want to pay twice what you should just for the sake of saying, "Oooo, I played a TPC course", this place is for you.

I have played courses all over the world, my handicap is 15-17 in general. I play from the whites. We were in a foursome behind a two-some, the two some was faster than we were, duh!!!

This rude nasty ranger decided to encourage us to move faster by threatening our position on the golf course due to our being ten minutes off time. There was no one behind us waiting, this jack*ss decided to exercise his authority by telling us we had "two holes to pick up the ten minutes or we would be forced to move forward". No ifs, ands, or buts.

We had just payed $172 dollars to listen to the airport next door, we had five players there this Saturday, we had a game scheduled for the Stadium course ( $259. ) on Monday. Guess what? No way were we playing on this overpriced "name" course ever again. We cancelled.

Easy to get in and out but just TOO many people. This is not a golf tournament, it's a sporting event. If you are a golf fan this is not for you ( better off watching it on TV). If you want to drink, smoke cigars, cuss like a sailor, be very
loud and be totally obnoxious, then this is for you!

Summer means lowered rates at this TPC course. The staff was amazing, the sand was pristine, and the greens were without blemish. Though the greens seemed fast, my gut says I was just too used to subpar green surfaces, like many Arizona courses in the summer. An even better deal can be had, if there's interest in 36 holes, for two rounds and a lunch.

The 16th hole was the only "disappointment" in the sense that it wasn't what I expected. The grandstands from the Waste Management Open are taken down, and the hole (pictured) is just a regular par 3.

We went to the Waste Management Phoenix Open. First of all - the "waste" wasnt managed well at all. Granted there were record crowds but dirty, disguisting, foul is how i would describe the porta potties. There were plenty of them and some were even in tents so as not to bake in the hot sun BUT no one bothered to replenish the toilet paper or hand wash so both were all gone halfway through the day. Potties were already full very early in the day which makes me wonder if they emptied them out each night? Garbage cans throughout the course were over flowing. I saw LOTS and LOTS of volunteers standing around doing nothing ( a lot of the time standing right in front of and blocking the view of the galley. 2 at the practice range sat in their chairs the whole 3 hours we were there!) If you want the best seat in the house for free just volunteer i guess?! You expect to walk a lot at a golf course but if they had more than one entrance/exit it would help (if there was any kind of major emergency a lot of people would be hurt or killed.) Very limited food options, meaning only hot dogs and pretzels, on the course unless you plan on hanging out in the food court all day, are willing to stand in line for hours at the ONE place that had mexican food, or can afford a high dollar ticket. It is a beautiful course.

I planned out a 10 day golf trip with 6 of those days being in Scottsdale in February 2020. In mid-December 2019, while trying to arrange everything, I ended up having to change the day of our tee time from Friday to Thursday. The online system is a little clunky when trying to cancel a tee time, so I just called the pro shop on December 19th to make sure that I had gotten the tee time correct and everything else cancelled. Since I had done this a thousand other times at nearly every course I've ever played, I didn't think anything else of it.

We played the Stadium Course on Thursday, February 6th, which is the week after the Waste Management Open, and the stadium was still up for the most part. The course was in perfect shape and the caddy was awesome. However, on Friday, February 9th I received an email saying there was a frost delay. Thinking that was weird, I called the pro shop to ask them why I had sent the email and they told me that I had a tee time that morning and they had booked me as a no-show and charged me $1396. When I told them I called and canceled that more than 6 weeks ago, they more or less told me I was a liar! They wanted me to show proof that I called (like I just keep phone records) and who I spoke to (like anyone would have any idea who I spoke to in the pro shop more than 6 weeks prior).

We spent $2,000 there between four people the day before and they have the audacity to charge me another $1,400 for a mistake they made. I'll never spend another dollar at a TPC course ever again based on this experience. These people are crooks!

Attended the Waste Management golf Championship & I was incredibly impressed with my whole experience!! Beautiful course, very well organized amenities & loads of fun. By far the best golfing event I've ever attended. I can't even complain about the beer or bathroom lines because I had ZERO issues. Kudos

Visit this golf course during the Phoenix Open tournament. Beautiful landscaping on and around golf course. Great for watching professional golfers due to elevated viewing gallerys. Food is pricey but good. Have not personally golfed at the course in many years. I recall a difficult course for me a real amature.

Great course, as expected. I wouldn't ever recommend paying the green frees this time of year because you can have a nice weekend getaway for that price but for any avid golfer that hasn't enjoyed this course, give it a shot at least once in the summer months where rates are much more reasonable.
