I have done business with Toyota for many years. I needed a patch done on a brand new tire on a brand new car that I had purchase from them. When I called to enquire about the price to get it repaired I was quoted $25.00 by a young lady. Once I got there and had my car in the service line I was told that it was going to be $35. I told the service clerk that that's not the price I was quoted on the phone. He apologized and said he would send an email to this particular person and that this has happened before. He apologized again and said it puts the people in the service department in a bad position as it puts them in the middle. Toyota does good work but they need to get their act together. Don't quote me a price just to get me in there. Then when I get in there it's a whole lot more. I could have had that tire plugged and changed for half that amount at Costco. That's what I was very displeased about. I also noticed there was a $3 service charge on my receipt and I asked him what is this about? He said that was a charge for the use of the equipment to change the tire! The patch itself was $6 the rest was labor and then charge me for the use of the lift to get my car up? Toyota you need to get your people communicating with one another and the public in an honest way!

Hendrick Toyota was great to deal with in the service department. I dropped my car off at 9 am for it's 25,000 mile service and state inspection, expecting to pick it up later in the evening. About a half hour later I received a call that my car was ready to be picked up. I never thought they'd have it ready that quick.

Bought my truck here in July and was pleases with the process. Just brought it in for 10k mi maintenance and they scheduled me in 5min. for the next day and I was in and out in an hour. Everyone is always super friendly and you can tell it's a good place to be and work.

Called a 0800 hrs and asked if I could get an appointment that day. I was pleased when I received an appointment for 0930 that morning. Jackie McDonough was my adviser. I was in and out in an hour and that included a complimentary car wash. She did a great job.

i had a great car buying experience but afterwards i had issues with the vehicle and was lied to/ mislead. I have left several messages for a manger to get in contact with me, left a message with the service advisor and there has been no effort on their part. I had purchased my vehicle believing that I was buying a hendrick certified vehicle and would have no issues and it was serviced throughly before hitting the front line. I drove off with my vehicle and had it inspected at the dealership I work for. I found that the rotors were extremely glazed, rough, and hot spotted, the oil change that they did do, left oil all underneath my vehicle from them not cleaning it off which that s minor and not something I was too concerned about as long as my car wasn t leaking oil. So, the issues with my brakes.... Clearly since I had just purchased the vehicle there was no way I could have done this. I reached out to the service manager and was promptly assisted and he said he would take care of it. And I trusted him. Here is the issue .. they took my vehicle for the day and returned it to me. They handed me the pre work order (job not complete) and advised me that they had fixed the issue and had resurfaced the rotors. (I never got a proper work order of the work even being completed) I should have immediately put my car back on the lift and inspected it myself because here I am a month later realizing they never even touched my rotors or if they did they had a new guy do it who has no experience because it looks like a worn out record player. So fast forward to today I have heard nothing from management. I recommend to always get your car checked even if it is certified because people are liars. Learn from my mistake !!!

Eric at Toyota took care of a full dash recall on my car. My 2009 camry is almost 10 years old but Eric let me know clearly the time I could expect for the part to arrive, be installed, and when i could pick it up. I love Toyota and Eric s personal service was efficient and clear. i appreciate it!

This was the best car buying experience I have EVER had. I spoke with a very pleasant and professional person on the phone to ask a few questions. I ended up with the best salesperson anyone could have ever asked for. We set a time to meet and thats when I met Rose. She is wonderful. We walked the lot and talked as if we had known each other for years. I felt no pressure to buy at any time. After some discussion about my budget and a great test drive, I ended up with a new Toyota. I couldn't be happier! Rose is by far the nicest person I've ever met at a car dealership. The whole experience was a great one. Thank you so much Rose! Toyota of Wilmington will have my business as long as I'm around.

Hendrick Toyota of Wilmington performed a recall on my 2014 Prius of which Toyota had notified me.
From the contact time thru the completion,, Hendrick Toyota of Wilmington were Courteous, Professional and Detailed. They provided me with transportation as needed while my car was being serviced and a car wash at the completion. I felt as I was treated extremely well by ALL personnel.
YES,, I would not hesitate to use or recommend Hendrick Toyota of Wilmington. Thank You Hendrick Toyota of Wilmington

The Service Dept. i.e. Keith Sullivan, always does his best to get me an appt. in a timely fashion or when able squeezes me in the same day. He s always been fair and honest with me. I ll keep getting my service done at Hendrick while he s around anyway.

I wanted to buy 4 tires that I picked off your website but was advised that the tires on the website were not available. I called back that afternoon to check on another set of tires, also not available. I was advised that only a small number of tires were available and that the website was not up to date. Disappointing, and now I have to find tires elsewhere, not convenient for me at all.

Short Version: Hendrick Toyota attempted to charge...

Short Version: Hendrick Toyota attempted to charge me $2,000.00 for a corroded connection. Which would have cost only a hour of labor to check and fix at an honest repair shop.

Longer Story: While they have a very nice waiting area and very friendly staff I wonder about the quality of their mechanics or the intentions of their repair department. I went there with a 2006 Toyota Prius who's red triangle was lit up which usually signifying a serious problem. After leaving my car with them for 6 or so hours they reported to me that a number of things were wrong with the car and that it would cost $2,000 to fix it (Which was suspiciously close to the value of the car). They informed me that the root of my issues was that two water pumps in the Prius were both failing and that I would need to replace them both. This raised my suspicions a bit because I had changed the IC water pump less than 2 years prior it should still be good. So I decided to take it home and do the repairs myself if only to verify that the issues were as severe as they had told me. I was able to purchase all the parts for less than $250. Once I started in on the repair I noticed that the issues they had raised about the IC engine water pump were nonexistent. The other water pump for the inverter seems to have been the only thing that threw the error. So I started to remove it and found that instead of a bad water pump the electrical connection was badly corroded and turned out to be the sole source of the error being thrown. After I tested everything I decided to still replace the inverter water pump since I had no record of replacing it and I already had the parts there. After driving it for a week I can safely say that fixed the error. So watch out. They may be good for maintenance but repairs should be scrutinized.

This car dealership is perhaps one the finest dealerships in our country. I again found the service to be excellent with the staff very attentive to needs of the customer. The waiting area is also outstanding to give the customer an attractive place to relax in a comfortable setting while his/her car is being serviced.

The employees are very nice, but they did not call...

The employees are very nice, but they did not call me telling me that my car was done and claimed that they did, so I waited two plus hours for an oil change. I also was not notified about my car needing immediate attention and replacement of my brake fluid until I arrived back home and looked through the paperwork. This was frustrating because if I was made aware I could have told them to fix it there, or made a follow up appointment while paying. Overall they re a nice business, but this trip was frustrating.

My car was making a noise so I booked an appointment online at Hendrick Toyota (which was SUPER easy and convenient). I brought my car in on the same day and was immediately approached by a Toyota employee (Paul Eldridge). Paul was very helpful took all my information and had me in a shuttle back to work within 10 minutes of pulling onto the lot. I had a very pleasant ride back to work with the shuttle driver. Paul had my car finished by the end of the day. The reason I gave only 4 stars was because the work was overpriced. 3 stars for pricing, 5 stars for service.

Had a wonderful experience purchasing our 2019 RAV4 Hybrid. Jake was a great salesperson - informed us about the car, went over all the options, never pressured us into any decisions and didn't stop until we were happy with the deal we were getting. Don't plan on needing another car for a good long while but we would certainly work with them again!

Kris has been Hendrick Toyota for 8 years - it was really good to work with someone with some time under his belt. I hope that when I'm ready to buy another vehicle that Kris is there. Thank you again for such a great experience.

I recently had my car in for its 5,000 mile service. The service department took my car in right on time, and finished the service before the projected completion time. The service department was very professional and knowledgeable. The waiting room was very neat and clean.

Originally started out as a bad experience. Had a waterpump on our 2015 sienna go bad. We were at 59000 miles but over the time frame of the warranty by 4 months. The service tech we originally spoke with was condecending and not the greatest to deal with. But after a back and forth he said there was nothing he was going to do and it was going to be 1200.00. Shocked we asked to speak with a manager. Mr. Benton called me and set up an appointment. He showed concern and took our concerns higher. Being that in our family(parents included) my family has bought at least 10-12 toyotas since 1980's we are Toyota people. This experience almost lost us but Mr. Benton came through and proved to us why buying a Toyota is a good investment. Thanks again.

My family was looking for an environmentally-friendly car to replace our Highlander SUV. We stopped in at Hendrick Toyota to check out what cars were on sale and Rose, a member of the sales team, showed us around the lot. We were hooked on a Prius but decided to come back later once we were sure of the purchase. Rose kept in touch and once we were ready to make the purchase, she made the process as painless as possible. It is a month later and we love our Prius! We are getting great mileage and saving lots of money on gas each week. Thanks, Hendrick Toyota!

It's the 3rd time I bring my car for maintenance, it's a good place, the wait is long but I guess is worth it. The only complaint I have is that they have to be more considerate of people and have a designated place for people who opts to bring their pets. I was there this past friday and a customer decided to bring her dog and sat next to me which by the way I'm allergic to pets, but I felt It would be so rude to move somewhere else so I stayed in my place for about an hour. I was hoping an employee would come and ask this customer to go to a different place but no.. no none seem to care. I'm not very sure if the building is pet friendly but I guess there should be some signs to warn people it's a pet friendly building.

I purchased my car here and had a great experience but the service department needs work. I scheduled an appointment for a simple oil change and I ve been waiting for 3 hours and it s still not done. Nobody checked on me or gave an apology. When I asked about the status, all I got was they re really busy and backed up. What was the point of making an appointment??

Update: They continue to be horrible!!! After the previous experience, they had apologized and offered a free oil change as a courtesy. I just scheduled an appointment and asked that they had my oil change and the scheduler confirmed. I just went for my appointment and the attendant said that there were no notes and I d have to pay for the service. Never again!!!!!! Wish I could give a zero.

The service department is probably the worst I've ever delt with! Made an appointment 2 days in advance, brought it in early the day of and then waited 5 hours. Not to mention the hour drive I have there and back. When asked about the progress they told me they had not even taken it back to look at it yet! So why do I have an appointment? This is only the most recent of terrible experiences I've had with this service department.

I have nothing but great things to say about the establishment. I am leasing a brand new 2016 Toyota 4Runner, and even though I am unhappy with a few minor details within the vehicle, I have no regrets in leasing from this company. I am hopeful that the staff will be courteous with these issues as it is a BRAND NEW car that I have been leasing for two months now (fingers crossed). The consultant, Randy Hadgraft, was so nice and willing to work with me; especially when my credit score came into play. My payments are manageable, even as a college student that fully supports herself. Randy was SO understanding and more than willing to make sure I left the store with a smile on my face. I suggest coming to speak to this young man if you are serious about leasing/buying a vehicle. Mechanically, I have had no issues with my vehicle. An outlet has gone out once or twice, and some headlight fixtures tend to go out as well.

Overall, I am ecstatic that I went through my first car dealership at Hendrick Toyota. The staff was kind, quick, and efficient.

He did not pressure us and was very knowledgable about the car and it's features. We had lots of questions and he took his time answering them. Everyone at the dealership was helpful and caring. I felt like we got a far deal and a great car.

Both guys are so professional and always go out of their way to put the customer first, even if it means working over lunch to provide quality service to my vehicle. I bought my Camry a year ago. My visit was just the 10,000 mile (I only had 9,007 mi) maintence check. Everything went fine. The wait wasn't too long. We had coffee and danish while we read our books. So all in all it was a very good visit. However, I did notice yesterday, I did not get a updated Oil Change Sticker (the sticker that goes on the upper left of the windshield, which reminds when next oil change is due), hence, the "Liked It" rating and not the "Loved it" rating. I really like these little stickers as it helps to remind me when next oil change is due. I wonder if I can go back and they will give me one?

We had a very pleasant experience buying a new Highlander at Hendrick Toyota of Wilmington. The salesman was personable, very knowledgeable and didn't waste our time with back and forth offers. We had done our homework and the first offer was a very good one which we accepted. The dealership was very efficient with all the paperwork and honored all their commitments. I recommend Hendrick Toyota and will visit them again when it's time to look at new Toyotas (or any used cars) again.

I have my Toyota Prius serviced here, the service has never been bad but I purchased a contract for service when I bought my car here brand new.
It does seem like they try to push unnecessary service on you. I mean I have had it serviced every 3-5k miles since I got it. What could be wrong with it, well they are always telling me what needs to be done. I have not failed to maintain anything so far, so we will see.

This was the best carbuying experience I've ever had. This dealership dealt with me from 2 hours away, completely over the phone. I arrived at 8:30 PM, after closing, and my sales rep, David, had everything ready for me. We did the test drive, did the paperwork and I was out the door within an hour. Then, they overnighted my plate to me, even when they didn't have to. David also kept true to his word and sent me the second key FOB I hadn't had when I left. Seriously, I was so impressed! Thank you!

had annual service told rear brakes were close so I said replace. drove out and brakes vibrate. called for new appt. told Monday 9am. got there and was 14th in line. called back and was told after check in will get priority. told them it will be an hour to get there ! left brakes still bad. last year wanted front end aligned was charged but was not corrected was told only 3mon warrantee paid to have it done again. also air pressures were never adjusted from 39, 42, 50, and 51 psi had rotate and balance all 4 but no air pressure check ?

I purchased my Toyota from Hendrick Toyota and since it came from them, they offered a series of free maintenance appointments. I was having problems with the low pressure tire light coming on. Turns out it was my spare tire that was low. After a few days, I noticed that none of the tires had the caps put back on and when I opened by back hatch, I saw that whoever inspected my spare tire ruined my spare tire cover by ripping the stitching on the zipper. Didn't bother to call because I know they wouldn't take responsibility. This time I took it in because of A/C issues. Was informed it would cost around $300 to repair. Didn't notice until today, but they cracked the molding piece by my stereo. Once again, didn't call because they would just deny responsibility. Will not be taking my car back to them for service again!!!! Plenty of mechanics around that will treat my car with respect.

I brought the vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. The technician identified a major problem which was fixed same day, in the timeframe quoted. Shuttle service was timely and the driver a pleasure to ride with. Everyone in the service area was on the ball and very courteous. Despite the unexpected additional expense, this was a good experience.

I waited 55 minutes once I was in the drop off garage. I was then ignored for another 15 min. I finally went inside where the folks were very helpful. By the time I was processed through I had been there for 1 hr 40 min. That's way too long to drop your vehicle off. Not sure I will ever go back!

I went in for an oil change and they told me my battery was weak and needed to be replaced so I said okay and asked for the 7 year battery since Vincent told me it would only be $20 more and when I went to leave I checked my car like I usually do after getting it serviced and noticed it was the same 5 year battery with corrosion still on it and when I went in to ask and get it fixed they just kept telling me it was new and showed me another battery that clearly wasn't mine and told me that It was the battery they took out, but It was some other battery. I've only ever had Toyota batteries in this car. So I will not be getting my vehicle serviced here ever again if they can't just own up and say they messed up.
