They had what I was looking for, and were willing to take the time to make me feel comfortable with the purchase process. I stopped in yesterday without an appointment to have my tires rotated and the maintenance indicator reset. Without an appointment, I was advised that they did not know how long it would take and I would be worked in. I prepared myself for at least two hours. My car was ready in an hour and ten minutes!! I give the service department at Hendrick Toyota a five star rating. Eric Sykes an Assistant Service Manager took care of everything.He was very professional and curious.
Had a prepaid oil change and tire rotations performed. In addition, had a coupon for a $39.95 coolant flush. The coolant flush ended up costing $54.88. It should have cost only $42.75 if you add 7% tax to the coupon cost. The receipt is written in a way that is almost indecipherable. That is probably on purpose. They do have a nice waiting room with coffee, etc. They also were expeditious in completing the service for which I had an appointment. My main concern is the deceptive pricing. I'll probably go to an independent garage for future service once my prepaid services are complete.

I purchased a 2015 Nissan Frontier in January and have been thoroughly impressed with Hendrick Toyota. I drove to Wilmington from my home an hour and a half away. I had already selected the vehicle I wanted the night before, approved, and was ready to go sign paperwork the next morning. When I arrived the original frontier I had selected was sold the night before. My sales rep was Naomi and was proactive from the time arrived until I drove off the lot. She not only found a replacement truck, but one with more options, a year newer, less miles, and my favorite, less money. I have already referred several friends and family members looking for a vehicle to Hendrick.
Went for a minor warranty repair and was done in 5 minutes WOW, Asked about state inspection Yes they do it for the same price as anyone else, a great place great service nice personnel and last but not least great coffee .
I rate the dealership service department as a one star solely on my satisfaction with Toyota USA. The dealership met expectations. I have a 06' Tundra purchased new from the Wilmington dealership and while it has been very reliable I currently have an issue with the AIP, air injection pump. Toyota clearly has problems with the pumps and valves because they have issued a CSP (Customer Service Program) or extended warranties up to 10 years or 150,000 miles on Sequoia model years 2008-2010 and Tundra for model years 2007-2010. They contend the Tundra's manufactured in early November 2006 through mid-August 2010 are faulty. Mine was manufactured in June 2006 and according to Toyota USA my VIN# is not covered. I believe based on extensive research on the internet and speaking with mechanics this is a problem also involving 2006 Tundra's. The problem is so rampant that people are selling by-pass systems on E-Bay for $150 to solve the issue. The cost to properly repair this defect is $2,000 and I feel Toyota USA should be responsible for the cost.
Hendrick Toyota Dealership has great customer service; even though in my humble opinion- their labor charges should be added to the parts instead of separate from it!
Took my car in due to tire badly out of round? It's much better now but not as it should be. My best experience was taking the shuttle van. Driver was exceptional! That was my first time using the shuttle service.
I previously posted a review of Toyota as 1 star. However, they dealt with the problem correctly and I was impressed with their flexibility and maintaining good relations with an unsatisfied customer.
My time and convenience was effected due to a minor issue with ensuring the key was programmed for my truck, which should have been done with my first visit. All in all, they solved the problem correctly and at no further charge of my last service amount.
Service department has really improved! My last appointment was fast and efficient! Much better from my experience about 2 years ago.

Buying a car is a long process and it can get aggravating. However Toyota Tom made our experience very pleasant. He was not like your typical blood thirsty sale guy. He was very personable, knowledgeable, kind and attentive. I will go back to Toyota Tom for all my car needs.

Was not there longer than 5 minutes after the sales representative told me before even talking prices I wouldn't be able to afford a Toyota truck because of the vehical I was driving and yes he used that as his reasoning.
Update: a month or so ago I brought my truck by for a diagnosis on my ac system. When dropping it off noone told me of the 100$ diagnostic fee until after or I would have brought it else where and now I really regret taking it there because they diagnosed it wrong. Said it was going to cost 2800 for a new heater core box because something was broken internally. After not trusting them I dropped it off at a local shop I do trust and 290 dollars later it's fixed!

Received a letter in the mail about a recall on my 2015 Highlander Limited Platinum. Made an appointment for July 1st with Sean Marra. 9:30 am arrival time, was given very good service and car was ready by 11 am. Waiting room is very spacious and comfortable with complimentary Starbucks coffee. Car wasn't on the recall list. I would highly recommend Hendrick Toyota, and the Highlander. The technology in this car is amazing.

I purchased my 2018 Tacoma on August 2nd, 2018, brand new. This review reflects how my truck, with less than 2,000 miles, has now visited the dealership 7 times. After sales continually told me how a Toyota was so much better than a Ford. My Ford didn't go to the dealership in 3 years, my truck has been by service 7 times in just 6 weeks!
I have owned numerous vehicles and worked with several dealerships, so it wasn't my first rodeo. After trading in my 2015 Focus ST, I took the truck home, skeptical of a few things, one of them being the TPMS Sensors not synchronizing. After making the claim and coming back to the shop only 3 days after purchasing my $40,000 pick-up, I had to get this fixed. No apologies, no "sorry for the inconvenience" and not even a complimentary rental car.
Keep in mind this truck only had a couple hundred miles on it! Sales told me the sensors would sync, but what sales guy wouldn't say that.
I requested a tire balance as well, on a brand new vehicle. Service didnt think they would be off from the factory, but sure enough, they were. It also turned out that my front right TPMS sensor did go bad, and at a couple hundred miles, my wheel now had a nice scratch on it from the tech no using the right tools to get it off (hence my rounded off nut on the valve-stem).
I rode off and back up to RDU for some work and the truck was shaking all over the place. Call the shop, back again at under 1,000 miles to get a re-balance. This time, it was even more out of balance than before. The first guy to balance my tires didnt remove the original weights. The second tire balance was done through a tech by the name of Dylan of got me balanced right.
Then we experienced a software update that I found online, fixing the vehicles terrible shift points. Of course nobody called me to let me know that this was available, I just had to take it upon myself to find this fix. Toyota did the TSB Update for the truck, no questions asked.
As my truck was being detailed a few days later, the detailer noticed there were mud stains under the clear coat protection. I took it in once again at 1,500 miles. Eric, who has been great, agreed to get it fixed. A week later I get a call about my appointment the following day. I was prepped for the appointment, but what it ended up being was just the appointment to order the new clear protection, great. We finally scheduled it weeks later to today at 730am. I show up, and nobody is there. The dealership is still closed from a Hurricane that hit a week ago. I understand power issues, shop leaks, etc, but why not call someone and let them know that their appointment has been cancelled or rescheduled. Another visit with nothing accomplished as my $40,000 truck has mud just sitting on the paint under the film.
Eric and Dylan are the two employees at this dealership that have impressed me. Other than that, it's been nothing but a sloppy experience. Reeled in to by the car as fast as possible, then left out to dry 6 weeks in.
Not impressed. Ive made multiple visits, never had an apology for the inconvenience, never received a complimentary rental car, and lost so many hours when I should have been running my business.
From the moment I drove up I was greeted with smiles and great customer service. 5 stars all around.
Great service, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is when I went to pay for oil change and tire rotation, I had a coupon for that and one of the techs tried to only give credit for the oil change. Not the tire rotation, when I finally got through to him, it was for both, he got an attitude but made sure that he was including tax which was fine.

Unfortunately Hendricks service was very busy. Consequently we waited two plus hours for tires and no outside washing of the car was performed.
Since we were relocating to Tennessee we had no choice but to purchase the tires in Wilmington.
New tires had been recommended when stopping in to have a dashboard warning checked....although there is only 22,000 miles + on the car.
At this time can't say if tires were really needed BUT been told since that the mileage was very low to warrant 4 new tires.
I can go on with some other unfortunate happenings on our trip but that would be useless.
Don't feel we would recommend Hendricks Toyota of Wilmington.
I just moved to the coast and brought my 2013 Prius in for routine maintenance. The service I received at Hendrick was far superior to my prior Toyota dealership. They went through my service history and found some instances of redundancy. They also found one service that my car had not received at all. I will continue to drive from Oak Island to Wilmington for my car's maintenance.

On Wednesday started my 2004 Highlander up and it barely started. Did my chores and left car running to check out my battery history. Toyota in New York had replaced it in 2010 so I called them. They said to contact my local dealership and they may give me some residual credit. Called Hendrick Toyota, they gave me an appointment, drove up and got a NEW BATTERY for half price. Plus, I had a mail coupon and special $10.00 savings coupon from the internet and was 500 miles away from an oil change, so I had that done as well for about $7.00. All in all it was a good day.
The service folks are very friendly and efficient. Waiting area is always clean and stocked with treats and beverages.
Don't waste your time the service department either lies or is incompetent, I purchased the extended warranty and service agreement on my vehicle and was assured that the only the only thing I would have to replace would be windshield wipers. I have had several problems with the vehicle and nothing has been covered. It has taken almost two years for the manager to final call me back he did nothing to fix the incompetence of his employees
I had a good experience here. Staff was friendly and on point. I opted to go to this dealer instead of Raleigh. The family has purchased multiple vehicles from here and would recommend again.
My experience started on-line. Found a couple vehicles at the dealership I was interested in. My interest was referred to Madi in sales. I had a trade in but was nearly 100 miles away from the dealership. We started the on line process for a trade in and decided on the vehicle I wanted. The next day I had the trade in price and agreed on the total price. The #s we agreed on sounded good we made the deal. The next day I drove to Wilmington to complete the deal and drove back to Murrells Inlet S C with the new ride. The on line experience was easy, fast and no surprises. Everyone at Hendricks Toyota was great to deal with. One of the best and easy experiences ever. Would highly recommend Hendricks the next time you're looking for another vehicle.
I recently had to take in my vehicle for an airbag recall. I was pleasantly surprised at how great everyone in the service department was. Katie who answered my call and scheduled my appointment was incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided a courtesy shuttle to get me to and from work while they serviced my vehicle. My driver, Harry, could not have been more kind and professional. He got me to and from work quickly and safely, and even provided some refreshing conversation. Brandon was my service advisor and he was kind, quick and professional. I thought it was important to note how great their attitudes and overall customer service was during this experience, especially when so many seem to be burned out and impatient due to the repercussions of the pandemic.
Jacob and the sales team were great to work with and met me where I needed to be for pricing .

In addition to having an excellent new facility, the service was first class from arrival to departure. Mark, my service advisor was very professional and knowledgeable. The whole system works - I remember when you'd come into a dealership and have to wait, and then get your car in and then have to wait....this process is so streamlined and I am so glad! Nice people at Hendrick but will not being going back for service I was charged $71 yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation!! REALLY Hendrick Toyota? Been buying cars from you for close to 25 yrs and you rip off with those fees for an oil change and tire rotation? Guess repeat customers don't get any favors, a shame. Where has the customer service gone with big companies? Seems like everyone is just a number these days, no incentives to keep loyal customers. Oh well, there are other dealerships.
I have always had a positive experience working with the service department at Toyota. the courtesy shuttle got me to work on time and picked me up when my car was ready. They are always friendly and available to discuss any issues.

My daughter bought an Acura about 11 months ago from them. Brought it in because the dash was vibrating and they charged her 100 dollars to tighten a screw. What a RIP off! My mechanic would never have raked her over like that. Next time she will go somewhere else. Even a diagnostic for that shouldn't cost as much.
