This review has a 3 Star because the salesperson Charlie was excellent and received a 5 because he worked very hard to get me a deal and to earn my business, however, the service department gets 1 Star. The average between the two is a 3 Star.
When I went to drop my new car off to have tint installed, the courtesy transportation was down according to them, in other words, they had no way to get me to work, did I mention it was raining? I m thinking all these cars on this lot and you actually would tell someone who just bought a brand new car this? Then they told me they would give me a rental car at no cost, like they are doing me a favor. I gave them my license, insurance and a credit card to process the paperwork. They asked me what team I was on, who was my service person and I told them I don t know because the person who I was introduced to was too busy to talk to me so I never got his name . After the lady at the counter completed the rental paperwork, which took over 15 minutes because I was just brought to her with no explanation as to what was going on and she had to ask questions to make sure she had everything correct. While the lady looked for the key for the rental car I was assigned to, some man walked up and then they said they would find me another car. I told them I was late for work and y all should have figured this out by now. They constantly reminded me that the transportation service was down today. Then while waiting for them to figure things out, a guy comes up and starts fussing at the lady who completed the rental paperwork about being on his computer. I told them they can handle that later that was inappropriate to discuss issues in front of a customer and they need to be trying to figure out how to get me to work. I also told them I cannot wait to get my survey. Shortly afterwards some random guy came up and said I will just take you to work, (again, like he is doing me a favor) where do you work? I work at a local High School and I am very late because y all can t figure out how y all are going to take me to work but y all have a lot full of cars. Before I left, I reminded them that I get off at 4:00pm so please be on time because I have to pick my children up by 5:30pm. They told me they would be on time. I was dropped off and reminded the driver again to please pick me up at 4:00pm. Well, no one showed up and when I called at 4:15 I was told that the service is down so they are running behind and the driver had to pick up other people first and he should be there soon. I called and asked could someone else come because I have to pick my kids up on time. I contemplated calling Uber but ruled it out because I should not have to call Uber when Toyota has all these cars. After calling, I was told they are working on it and they did not arrive to after 5:15pm to pick me up and went to the back of the school instead of the front office. I get off work st 4:00pm. I had to guide him to the front office on the phone. When I finally got back to pick up my car, no manager in sight to apologize or provide an explanation for this unacceptable service. Still to this day, weeks later I have not heard from anyone other then to purchase an extended warranty. To them it was business as usual, your keys and car are over there. I never received a survey, but when I purchased my car 2 weeks before, I received 2 surveys and several calls to complete it and return it. This is my 6th new car in my life time and I am usually a Honda or Cadillac person, but my family members talked me into switching over to Totota. I realize that all Toyota dealerships are not like this one, but the Toyota of Tampa on Fletcher is. One last thing, nothing was offered as far as water, something do drink when I purchased my vehicle. This was by far my worse experience and customer service was lacking in all areas.

I'm due to give birth in three weeks and I have a 13 month old - I discovered there was a hole in my tire this morning. Very stressful issue to deal with at this time! I contacted the Toyota of Tampa Bay service department to set up an appointment after work and received excellent customer service beginning with that call. Dropping my vehicle off was quick and efficient, I received a call from Brandon shortly after to let me know what was going on and assure me all would be handled. Brandon called me a little later to let me know I was good to go. Madison did a great job checking me out when I want to pick up. Everyone was friendly, informative and polite. I highly recommend and will definitely go back for my servicing needs!!

WELL besides loving Toyota I think Toyota Of Tampa Bay is the Best. I went to Brandon, Orlando< St. Pete, New Port Richey, Clearwater, Wesley Chapel,and a few other cities compairing prices,attitude,salespeople..and Toyota Of Tampa Beat them all in EVERY catagory !!!!!!! I give them a 5 TIMES 5 for service, follow up,understanding and how to treat a customer

If you are looking for GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, then you need to go down to Toyota of Tampa Bay. Alan Brodsky was my salesman. He made my first car buying experience AMAZING. I am from South Georgia, and I knew what I wanted and family had been buying from Alan and pointed me in his direction. I called and told him what i wanted and he had my 2017 Camry waiting at the door when I got there and it was absolutely perfect. Everyone there was very nice. I would HIGHLY recommend Toyota of Tampa Bay. EXCEPTIONAL, THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND.

I am glad I bought my car from them. A great service always. My dashboard was eligible for a recall and they got it done sooner than I expected. Thank you Steve !
Also, when you leave your car with them for maintenance, they book an Uber for you to return and again to get you to them for picking up your car. I wasn't expecting that.
And lifetime free carwashes are always a plus.

Purchased my new Corolla from Toyota of Tampa Bay and everyone was amazing! Alan Brodsky was our salesperson and he went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly what I was looking for. He was very knowledgeable in answering any/all of my questions and very helpful with the set up of my car. After dealing with Toyota of Tampa Bay I WILL NEVER go anywhere else to buy a vehicle, ever! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a car, they make sure you get the best deal and treat you like family... 5 STARS!!!

I was recently in a car accident that totaled my last hatchback, and was freaking out trying to find a comparable car and lease agreement so unexpectedly. I stumbled upon the Scion IM (car of my dreams) while picking up my license plate that just so happened to be at the Toyota of Tampa Bay collision center. Everyone working at this dealership was extremely friendly, understanding, and helpful towards me and my family. They listened to my expectations and needs, and helped me get back into a great (if not better) vehicle that day! I had been to 3-4 other dealerships (some 10x dirtier and not so friendly) with 0 luck and was so taken aback by the excellent service/understanding I received at TTB. Bob Novak and the other employees of Toyota of Tampa Bay have made me a very happy customer!

Steve Davis (used car manager) & Matt Nolan (auto body) are amazing. I had left a frustrated review about a month ago, I was instantly contacted and told to come in so we can fix any problems. I brought my car in for some buffed out scratches cruise control, and a door handle and once I picked up my car it looked completely brand new and they bot only buffed out any blemish but completely replaced my front and rear bumpers, did my cruise control, my brakes (which is a godsend and they didn't have to do that for me), flushed out anything that needed cleaning, fixed a Crack in my windshield and EVEN cleaned my rims and vaccumed!!! All the work they generously offered came to about 2k in expenses and I couldn't be grateful enough. They did a wonderful job! I also was given a rental for a week while my car was in shop. They went above and beyond. If you need a used car or trade in, go see Steve! Side note*- the ONLY thing that I would say with a downside is female receptionist are very rude any time I call, transfer me before I'm even done talking, sigh, and instead of being professional I'm told "uh, suuure" when I need a transfer. Everyone is awesome at this dealship but receptionists need to be talked about making adjustments so they dont come across as they cant stand people or their jobs. BUT that's besides the point. Awesome job! Thank you so much Toyota of Tampa Bay.

On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate my last visit to Toyota of Tampa Bay a 5. During my last visit, the service on my car took longer than expected. My service advisor provided me with a coupon for a free lunch at the cafe. That was something I definitely did NOT expect but fully appreciated since I had to wait 3 hours! The only change I would love to see is to have a second location in south Hillsborough County. We currently rent in Gibsonton/Riverview and it would be so much more convenient if the location was closer! But, since that's a tall order, I'll continue to venture north whenever my car needs service!

The last week 01/16 I went to the dealer Toyota of Tampa bay located in Fletcher because after having called for them to deduct the amount the monthly payment of the lease that I have with them they tell me that I had to go to their facilities because of an error of them Missing some signatures in my contract, I go and I go there and I was attended by MIKE ALLEN, is the worst person that exists to give attention to the public, to visualize the numbers of my contract I realize they were not the same and I was just asking to explain why the change, MIKE ALLEN said they had not changed anything I was just asking him to explain the formula for which the numbers were different, this man was furious and began to threaten me that he would send to me his lawyer tomorrow to reposes the car and it was better for me that it would not happen and sign, is a very rude person, has no professional ethics, IN ANY MOMENT I DENIED TO PAY I just needed to explain why the numbers were different, I WILL NOT RETURN TO TOYOTA OF TAMPA BAY NEVER, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE WHEN YOU ASK EXPLANATION OF THE CONTRACT THAT THEY WANT YOU TO SIGN THEM THAT THEY WILL SEND TO THEIR LAWYERS AND WILL REJECT AGAINST YOU

to start of the car for 13k I was looking to buy cash money I was told they would rather finance the car instead of sell it because they make more money this way , they will charge you 1000$ if you don't have a car to trade in plus another 1000$ if you want to buy your car cash instead of finance it with them ... I'm blown away by this dealership I thought so highly of Toyota before I went there expecting to buy a car cash in hand ill be looking into chevy instead and the dealership fees are insanely high compared to most !!! I don't even think they legally do business correctly and it should be looked into so familys having a hard enough time aren't taken advantage of !!

We took our Toyota in for an airbag recall only to find out that it needed servicing for a total of 3 recalls! The staff members were all super professional and friendly. The best part was that they didn't try to sell a bunch
of extra work like sometimes happens at dealerships. It was a nice first experience. We will be back! Thanks!

I have had my Camry just over 2 years which I purchased from TOTB, we began with a rough start customer service wise however Delburt in the service department is an EXCELLENT service advisor. He makes me feel like family when I am there, always greets me with a smile and advises me of the recommended services required without any sales PRESSURE. TOTB stepped it up with this service advisor, I have had only excellent experiences with Delburt and will continue to service my car at TOTB as I receive great service from them.

I had an idea of what I wanted. Amber Credeur was my Salesperson and I Tell ya'... I Couldn't have asked for anyone better. She was a Hoot as well as Knowledgeable and Kind. She Didn't Laugh at me when Paint Color topped my list of Priorities in a Vehicle... She laughed with me.

She was extremely accommodating when I Couldn't walk the lot to Search for the Perfect car but guess what! She showed me my choices. I chose one. I signed all the Paperwork with Ali... And don't even let me get started on that guy! Jeez! Who Ever said Nice guys Finish Last. Certainly have Not met Him.

I Purchased the Car. Laid eyes on it as She handed me my keys. Took a photo and... I Actually felt like Princ.. ess Sebrina as I Drove Off in my (sing it with me). Little Red COR... olla!

My experiences here have been amazing thus far. When buying a new Toyota I was pleased to see the kids area they had to allow parents to shop without having the added stress of having their child nagging them the entire time (as mine had done in other dealerships). On my return trips to get my oil changed I have been greeted by friendly staff who have explained the services to me and a large waiting area with WiFi and multiple televisions for the customers' viewing pleasure. I was also pleased to find on my most recent visit that the cafe they have in the waiting area had healthy eating options. I look forward to continuing my business with this dealership.

I was in town visiting from Pensacola and my car broke down. I have the best toyota dealership in my area and was disappointed that this one wasn't even close to as customer friendly. They don't communicate and their sales people harrass you while you're trying to get service done. My car is brand new... I clearly didn't need a new one. They gave back my vehicle with 0 miles left in the tank, it was not given to them that way and it wasn't cleaned when returned. I'm glad I don't live in the area and wont ever need to return.

System for processing my service visit was systematic, thorough and well thought out. Svc. and repair techs. were courteous and seemed to have a good attitude. Inspection was very thorough and gave me the opportunity to select what I could afford to have serviced. Svc. Manager Mike kept me abreast of any developments in as timely a manner as possible. They offered me a ride home and back to the dealer due to the amount of work I needed. I had a truly good experience.

Didn't buy my Prius here because the price was too high, but it is my local dealer, so I take it here every 5000 miles since 2006 for regular service. The folks are friendly, prices are fair, work is done right, and they have a free shuttle that will run you home if you need that. I bought new heavy duty tires here after shopping around all over town because they had the best deal. I am very happy with the tires and all the service I've received for the past 60,000 miles.
Print great coupons off their web site! They also send out good coupons once you are in their system.
I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes the big service jobs take longer than estimated, but now that I know about the shuttle, I will definitely be using that.

Came and got a oil change where they cut the line or something which made all my oil leak out my car! I called to tell them my check engine light was on and it kept saying low oil pressure they tried to make me pay to bring my car I told them I didn t hit anything and that I just had left they shop hours ago it was they problem they then finally sent a tow truck and stayed if it was my fault I would have to pay the tow fee after getting there they seen it was they fault. The manager told me I could get a loaner car and pick my car back up the next day and left right after the mechanic came and said your car ready I told them no I m not taking my car until they make sure everything was right and that the district manager promised I could go In a loaner! I finally left cane back the next day where the district manager Gave me 2 gift cards and manager Stephen promised I could get a few free oil changes for the inconvenience and it was on my account and apologized I finally just went back now to get a oil change they stated oh we don t see that note on your account all they see is the problem was resolved smh just horrible told me anything to shut up and Leave and not report them. That s so unprofessional!

This is a horrible dealership. The salesmen prey on women who are waiting in the service lobby. They gather a the high tables making it extremely uncomfortable for customers who are waiting. I feel I was taken advantage of because I am a younger female .This is a horrible dealership. The salesmen pray of women who are waiting in the service lobby. The service managers assured me the vibration i felt was due to the O2 sensors and a leak. 1500.00 later the vibration continued. When I returned, "the manager" stated this was my error because I did not insist the vibration be listed on the service slip even though it was explained it was not necessary to document the vibration because the cause was the O2 sensors. I confirmed this several times with the service manager i was assigned. I feel I was taken advantage of because I am a younger female who knows nothing about automotive repairs. November 2015 I ordered a dashboard due to the recall. I was told I was put on a "list." When I followed up while getting the O2 sensors repaired the service manager stated he checked and there are 600 people ahead of me. The following Monday I had to return due to the engine lights being on AGAIN. I followed up on the dashboard because my name was not given when checking on the status of the dashboard. According to the manager who was speaking to Monday evening. I was never added to the "list." I was assured I now have been placed on this "list" and moved to the top for replacement. I followed again today. AGAIN, I was given a standard response from anyone answering the phone WITHOUT checking my account or the account history. I was placed on hold four times and had to explain the situation each time someone new answered the phone. The last person I spoke to identified himself as a manager. He stated, "...dashboard for your car is coming from Japan and the issue is with Toyota. We follow up daily for a status from Toyota." However, he was not able to find me on this list which they claim they maintain. Overall, THIS IS A POORLY RUN ESTABLISHMENT. SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN. SALES REPRESENTATIVES PREY ON WOMEN WHO ARE WAITING FOR THEIR REPAIRS TO BE COMPLETED. PEOPLE ANSWERING THE PHONE AND THE PARTS DEPARTMENT WILL SAY ANYTHING. After the dashboard is fixed I will never return to this dealership to purchase or service any vehicle.

Great dealership-in fact, Toyota of Tampa Bay is the first dealership that I've ever trusted. I bought my first Rav4 from them, in 2007, and my second Rav4 from them in 2014. I have never had my car serviced by any one but them. The service department is exceptional, the employees are courteous, and the waiting area is comfortable and offers many amenities. If you are in the market for a Toyota I strongly recommend Toyota of Tampa Bay.

I adore Toyota of Tampa Bay! I have been getting my cars serviced there for the past 3-4 years, and I would never take them anywhere else! The staff is extremely helpful, they are always smiling, and they know exactly how to do their jobs. If there is a long wait, they will let you know; if something is wrong, they will fill you in. I truly never had a bad experience with anyone at this dealership. When I sold my old pre-owned Toyota, I immediately went to Toyota of Tampa Bay and bought myself a brand-new one! The sales representative was extremely friendly, he got me discounts wherever possible, and he made it so easy for me to drive off the lot with my new car THAT DAY.

I will never go back to getting my car serviced anywhere else. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and organized waiting areas, things to do while you wait for your car, and the assurance of knowing your car is getting the best care possible! I urge anyone to take their car in and find out for themselves!!!

My business partner and I have purchased 2 cars from Toyota of Tampa Bay almost 3 years ago. The staff and the sales department truly took a great care of us.: coffee, water, anything we needed.....they were there to perfectly accomodate our needs while we were waiting. General manager of the dealership John Gliem personally greeted and thanked us for our business as well. He told us to always call him if we need anything. That made us feel extremely special. I have been to different dealerships before and never had a GM coming out of his office and personally taking care of us. 3 years later, every time we service our cars, he still comes out and always checks on us.
I recently found out they have introduced manicure services and a theater room upstairs, so Im actually looking forward to coming to the dealership to service my car now :) .... I remeber when they made the upgrades, Mr Gliem himself took time to show us around. I can honeslty say on a scale from 1-10 all staff of Toyota of Tampa Bay treats us solid 10 , everyone is always warm and welcoming. I have also sent my sister in law to purchase a car, as she was shopping around for a few weeks for a new vehicle, the GM personally directed her to the sales deparment and made the transaction smooth and easy. She is a young girl and literally knew nothing about cars, so the guys at the dealership also educated her and what to look for when chosing the right vehicle. The didnt try to push her into a sale but found a perfect fit for what she needed. She actually saved $$$ as well. I was very pleased when she called and thanked me! I would definetely recomment Toyota on Fletcher to everyone and anyone! . And even though I live a little further from the Fletcher location, I still go out of my way to make sure that this specific dealership servises my car. I wouldnt trust it to noone else. Besides, free manicure is always a plus! :) Thank you Toyota of Tampa Bay and Mr Gliem for always taking an exceptional care of me, my car and my family!

This was the first time I service my van at Toyota of Tampa Bay and I was extremely satisfied with the overall experience!! Monzer was very professional and courteous. I was told it would take about an hour and a half for the service to be completed, and not even half an hour later Monzer called me and said van was ready. This is what I call efficiency!!! Very satisfied and would not have my van serviced anywhere else!

The WORST Toyota dealership in Tampa Bay. Staff is very rude, most have a lot of attitude, and are overwhelmingly incompitent. Had an appointment for 9:30 for a simple oil change, when I pulled up the place was not busy but I waited 20 minutes before someone even welcomed me and not to mention that welcome was just them trying to get me to trade in my car and by one of there s. Once I was finally checked in I presented them with my coupon, which happened to be for the wrong oil. So I asked the girl if there were any others on there website, when she rolled her eyes and said no. Minutes later I found one on there website and presented it to her. Finally after about 2 hours of waiting for a simple oil change I came out to have a word with my advisor Micheal A. Baglione, who I found sitting smoking outside his office with another worker while my car sat parked and ready to go. When I asked him what to hold up was he said he was working on my paper work which he clearly wasn t. About 30 minutes later I got my car at 12 after having spent almost 3 hours here for an oil change. Not a great experience.

Wish i could give no star.... Talked to a woman on phone about trading in my car that was broke down. She told me sure we can trade it in, we will take anything with tires. Asked what day and time i would have it towed there. So i give her the info. She finishes by saying great and i will see you when you get here. So set up tow. Get to toyota. For them now tell me oh no we dont take cars that are broke down. We only take it if you drive in ... Was told try to reach tow truck driver to have him drop it else where. Oh and when i said i was told to have it towed there and all. My answer was that lady was fired yesterday. Haha what a joke I will never ever return to this dealer nor recommend ANYONE.

My experience with them wasn't good at all and I will never go back there again.
They charge very high dealer fee ($1000 which is more than Lexus and Mercedes dealers) and if you asked your sales rep for a bottle of water, he will tell you that you need to pay 25 cent in the water machine to get one (yes, no even a complementary water) . Also when I got my car, the gas tank was almost empty ( its my 1st time to buy a car from a big dealer without having the gas tank full) and the car wasnt that clean. So really not sure why they charge a high dealership fee.

Also I had to deal with a sales manager there after I bought my car because the new used car that I got hurt my back (I did a major operation in my back and I never expected the new car to hurt me) and I went back after 2 days to see if there is a way I can get back my old car and I was welling to pay any fees they paid and the sales commissions. The sales manager lied and told me that they sold my car (after only 2 days!!! and I saw it on the lot and still in their website until now for sale), He basically told me to pay the 1st payment and come back next month to sell me another car. Yes, he is using my medical excuse to get me in another deal and to make more money!!. I went straight to another deal and he told me that I don't need to do any payment and they can take my car now!!!!!!

They also forced me to take a loan (yes they didnt accept me to pay cash for my car) with a high interest (since the car is over 100k miles) and really no dealer did that with me before. The finance manager (his name was scott) told me that I can pay off the loan from day 1 without any extra fees, again another lie, there is $350 extra charges I paid over the price that I was going to pay if I paid cash. I tried to call Scott 3 or 4 times and left him VMs and he never called back.

I learned my lesson because from day 1 I didn't like them, they weren't friendly at all but I went back because they had the used car that I was looking for. definitely if it was for a brand new Toyota, I was going to either Courtesy Toyota or Stadium Toyota, people there are way friendly.

The seller who I spoke with left and James was able to honor the service I needed. Great service from Elga too!
The only downside was the agent Nana or something like that who was extremely rude and unprofessional. But the others made my experience there way more pleasant. There was another guy, half Italian and half Mexican like he said who was super nice to us!! Looking forward to upgrade my Corolla! Thank you.

My first visit at Toyota of Tampa Bay was on Sept. 22, 2020 and then today Sept. 25, 2020. And it was the best experience I ve ever had at a car dealership. Both times. The first visit was just to get my car serviced and then I ended up leaving the dealership with a new car from a very super cool guy named Mr. Dimarco! Very honest guy, super cool! I was very comfortable. My anxiety usually gets the best of me but I was comfortable! All the people their were AWESOME especially Mr. Gonzalez the finance man! He was another one who super cool and very honest! No one tries to con you at Toyota of Tampa Bay. It was a humble experience lol

Don't rely on Toyota of Tampa Bay for tires! I purchased my RAV4 from them and had a great experience. I have been frustrated with the service department because they don't put priority on people that make an actual appointment. Basically you have to wait in line while they process all of the walk-ins, so you end up waiting all day. They also promote tires to everyone that come through the door. I drove all the way from St Pete to get tires and learned when I got here that they didn't have tires to fit my RAV4 in stock. I ended up going to a regular tire dealer since I know they have more reliable stock. I was just a bit surprised that Toyota of Tampa Bay doesn't carry a large stock of tires that fit the cars they sell.

I just left Toyota of Tampa very upset and unsatisfied. I was working with Sales Manager Miguel Alvarez. We had been speaking for a total of 2 weeks. We agreed upon terms verbally. Then I came in to sign initial paperwork, check credit, and appraise my trade in. At that point the terms were still the same as previously discussed. The car that I wanted needed to be shipped in, so I had to come back to pick the car up on arrival. Once the car arrived and I began to sign final paperwork, the payment was almost twice what we had agreed upon. Miguel claimed that he was unaware of all terms of the negotiation. However, he and I had discussed the details several times over the prior 2 weeks. There could have been no way that he was unaware. This was by far the worst experience that I have ever had attempting to purchase a car. It is unfortunate for car sales people that there are people like Miguel that give the rest bad reputations.

I do NOT recommend this place. I brought my car to the collision center here. After a tire flew up on I75 and damaged my vehicle, a friend recommend that I go here for repairs. When my car was ready for pick up they called me. I went to pick up my car and it wasn't even completely repaired. The windshield was still the old chipped one. So I left the car there for another 2 days for them to complete. Then They messed something up on my wipers and they were hitting the car when i turned them on. They were scratching metal together and making this horrible screeching sound. Took the car back and they lifted the hood while the wipers were up, scratched the paint off the hood of the car. I cried from the frustration and stress. I drove from westchase and from the Air Force base multiple times to this location. I paid my deductible of $500. Yet I wasn't refunded a single dollar for the hours and stress spent dealing with this shop due to their negligence. Nor was i ever mailed the gift card promised to me by the service attendant. Just a hand written warranty on the hood where they chipped the paint. My service provider was very apologetic and polite. But after dealing with all of that, sorry only goes so far. Although the paint and dent work they did was great.. Not worth the stress they put me and my family through.
