The sale went fine, but the financial manager at the end was so pushy and forceful that I nearly cancelled the whole deal at that moment. Because of this experience, I do not plan on purchasing from this dealership ever again.

My salesman, Manny, was terrific! He knows the Toyota Prius extremely well, and was able to clearly explain all the features, and the differences in the different models. In the end I selected a beautiful former leased vehicle that suits my needs perfectly. I owned my previous Prius for 11 years. I never spent any money on that vehicle other than regular oil changes and recommended services. I expect the same of my new one.

I got terrible service from the parts department when I reodered a replacement shock here at Toyota 3 1/2 weeks ago. So I finally called back and spoke to Russ who was very helpful and said my part was there. I asked him if could pick it up next week he said that would be fine. I wish I would of got the great service I did today 3 1/2 weeks ago. I give Russ A for today. However I give the parts F for failure for not calling me back. I my case sometimes genuine Toyota parts are not good. I know my shock went out after 3 months. Now I got pay Evans tires 60 dollars again because I got a jacked up part from Toyota of Carlsbad. That was my experience.

I returned to Toyota of Carlsbad when I needed another car. I had purchased my first RAV4 in 2007 and had exceptional service from John the sales consultant. I continued to have a relationship with the service team.
As a result I returned to John 11 years later for my second RAV4. Once again I gave them a list of what I wanted on the car. The next day John called and he had the car. When I was checking my list the car he showed me didn t have all the features I wanted. John checked inventory and we talked about what was a must and what features were negotiable. John found my car at another dealership and the following day I had my car. The price was almost the same as the original car and had all my safety features. I got a great rate and payments that were exactly what I wanted. They financed it with another company because it was a better deal for me.
When I need another car I will be back to see John at Toyota of Carlsbad.

The dealership was willing to sell me the vehicle I wanted for a price within a few hundred dollars of what I had hoped to pay. They honored a mail offer for a $100 gas card upon trade-in of a Matrix even though I had already closed my deal with them. The finance department understood the rates I could get from my credit union and they underbid the credit union for my loan business. All-in-all the dealership made it easy to do business, they didn't waste my time, and they respected me as a returning Toyota customer.
First time I ever bought a new car that I wasn't aggravated by all the baloney. The salesman was great and didn't try to push anything I didn't want. They didn't have exactly what I wanted, but he simply showed me something that had I everything I was looking for. Even though it was much larger than what I wanted originally, after I test drove it, I decided it was the vehicle for me. I have always loved Toyotas.

This was my first time to buy a car and it honestly couldn't have gone smoother or been more enjoyable. Vanessa always answered my questions right away even on weekends! I couldn't speak highly enough of how great of a job she did.
One of the worst dealerships I have been to for service. I was going to take my truck in for scheduled service but after calling and getting a quote of $230 for a basic oil change and tire rotation I didn t go. I also asked for an invoice breaking down parts and labor but they could not provide, even tho I asked multiple times. Likely due to the fact they are trying to make you pay way more then the actual cost. I would not go here and definitely don t recommend this dealer.
Called and did a pre approval, worried that my credit was going to hurt me. Got an outstanding rate. Mike Williams was great and efficient. Knowing my needs, my budget and what I was looking for he had a lineup of cars ready for me to drive when I got there. Had me in and out in a couple hours. There was no hassle with pricing. Mike said, "this much per month" I said this much and he got it for me no haggling. Walked out with my new car and Mike drove it home for me. I went through my bank. I called and talked to Duff Joy. I made an appointment. Duff has everything read and checked every site possible to make sure the car I wanted was still there. I took my 2019 Tacoma TRD sport in about a 2 months ago to check a knocking noise on my suspension. They had my truck all day and could not find anything that was causing the noise. Also there was a recall on my truck and was supposed to order the part. Which they never did. I took my truck to toyota of Poway where I purchased the truck. They had the recall part in stock and found the knocking noise on my truck. It was a loose bushing.
So overall Toyota of Carlsbad failed to take care of my issues especially the safety recall. I will bring my truck to Toyota of Poway even if I live close to Carlsbad.

We went from a Mercedes C300CE 2011 49,000 mile luxury car fully loaded - premium and multimedia package (this car came with Navi, 6-disc changer, dvd, even a 10gb or 15gb hdd which you can burn disc onto) to a 2017 14,500 mileage Toyota Camry SE loaded. I was happy this worked for my family. The dealer Julio was resourceful, helpful and insightful on many details about cars and how the trade-in works and yep that's his "job" but this isn't always well represented. As long as the lady is happy, then I'm satisfied. I'm not giving five stars because I went into the dealership blind for not knowing the kelley blue book; after investigation of our MB C300CE, it was between $11,500 to $13,750; we received $9,500 which I had a lender payoff quote of 13,841. So this left us with negative equity. Though there were a few cosmetic issues, this wasn't deeply shared about the appraisal price which I admit I suspected less, being ignorant of blue book value. Anyhow, overall experience was exciting. Toyota team is sociable and uses conviviality with customers. So great customer service indeed. They are about making their customers happy. Enjoy the experience! Go in with a bit of foreknowledge on the car and what you are purchasing before finalizing. Thanks.
