Pizzeria La Terrazza Review

We used to go here a lot. But then three times in a row our pick up order was wrong. It got to the point I d ask my hubby to open it at the counter to make sure it was right before he left. Pizza is good.
Today at the patio a man came out and scolded me for letting kids play with the short bungee cord that the umbrella is tied with. It s corded in nylon with plastic encased hooks. The lesser of most of the evils out there- fire pit, lanterns etc. After that I couldn t enjoy myself as kids were touching things and I was worried he would come back out. Kids aren t school aged and it can be difficult alone to keep them still- not bad kids but normal stuff for their age. Not going back at this point. If you are that worried then come out and open the umbrella for your guest instead of watching me do it myself and struggling and then take the cord with u or away.

5 stars to the owner and staff of Pizzeria La Terraza for helping our kids. The four public school students set up a lemonade and cookie stand in front of the pizzeria to raise money for the Terry Fox Fund Drive. They were rewarded with free Pizza and contributions from the staff. A great place with a community minded owner.

Thin crust. Hot and super string cheesy. Veggie pizza was delightful. Drop in and try it. Family business is best business

Very disappointed with the customer service at La Terrazza. Over the years, we developed a sour taste for this family run pizzeria due its notoriously bad customer service and overpriced gourmet pizza. We used to like ordering from La Terrazza just to break up the routine until the most recent string of bad experiences. Some of the customer service reps can be very rude and deliberately obnoxious. The pizza taste is inconsistent and is very greasy. Definitely not worth the price or the aggravation.

Great pizza! The custom pizza option was fun and the toppings were plentiful. A nice place to come with friends.

Live near this place and the vegetarian pizza got me so sick for a week. I wouldn't ever recommend to anyone. I've also tried the chicken and regular pepperoni pizza as well and wasn't a fan.

Great pizza! They make the dough from scratch right in the store and everything is fresh and there are at least 30 toppings to choose from. Great staff and great service too.

By far my favourite pizza place in KW. Always delicious pizza, great atmosphere, and a good selection of drinks as well. Family owned and operated, so it's a very consistent and friendly experience every time.

We ve enjoyed the food and service since they have been open. Very convenient location and the pizza is world class. The only reason we don t order / eat here more frequently is our desire to eat healthy. If it were up to me I d eat here every day. The pizza is always fresh and amazing. We ve never had a bad experience.

I ordered the Chicken Rustica pizza for take-out and I was not impressed for the price I paid. It lacked flavor, I expected a lot better.

Best pizza we have had in Kitchener and very fair prices! They are generous with the toppings too! It's not just a take out place either, their large patio is wonderful in the summer and lots of seating indoors. Service is great and friendly. Happy to find a family run pizzeria as the chains are getting a expensive for what you get; not the case here. :)

Love the choice in toppings, availability of alcohol, great patio, and live band on the weekends. It is a little pricy and thinner crust compared to others and sometimes leaves us still hungry. But a great atmosphere. Just wish they stayed open later.

I ordered 2 pizzas. One half cheese one half pepperoni, the other 1/2 Hawaiian, half veggie no cheese. The cheese and pepperoni other than being cold (I live around the core we) looked fine. The other one had no cheese on the Hawaiian one. Everything was all over the box, and it was also cold. Do not recommend the place. For $40 and Gino s around the corner I would have definitely been satisfied as Gino s never fails.

The quality of the pizza is not the best.Also the quality of their chicken wings is very very very poor the sauce is not even on the chicken wings and they are not even cooked they are raw.

My family and I moved shortly to Kitchener and was happy to know we had a pizzeria close to home. Today we went there for the second time. And now I know why there's never anyone there. The pizza is not bad, but the service sucks. The owner has no education, has no sympathy and does not know how to treat customers. We will not come back again and I do not recommend that anybody go there, The attendant is also very bad.

Mediocre pizza place. Ordered a xlarge meat lovers and wings. Flavour in wings was good, very small in size however.
Pizza crust and dough was good. Different from most places, was nice. The toppings however are all typical of most places. Nothing stood out really.

All in all, decent pizza place.

I give it 2 star because the guy at the front was super friendly. At the same time it looks like he makes the orders and handles the cash at the front, that's a big NO, NO and NO. Front door wide open so any pest could walk, crawl or fly right in? Yup it sure was. Odd looking hair in my pizza? Yup there sure was. So even if I was to overlook all these things there still is the biggest problem with this place, they simply don't sell the quality they're charging for. Their ingredients are the same as any other cheap discount place in town and I'm willing to bet they buy from the same discount supplier as anyone else. Sorry, but this place is a bust. You want good pizza try Old Garage in Walkerton or Roberto's in Southampton.

Great little pizza spot. Good pizza with real toppings. Check the hours tho. They aren't open late like some pizza places.

Great atmosphere. Music is the theme here, yeah you think pizza, but, it s evident that music is the true underlying theme. There are instruments throughout the restaurant and it is very charming.
Being the first time, I was somewhat eager to taste these pizzas. Having a thin crust is regular and you can order slightly thicker although it wasn t much thicker. If you like thicker crust , this may not be for you.
That being said, if you enjoy a thinner, more European inspired pizza, this is the place.
The flavours were fantastic. Great sauce and dough made in house. You won t find deals or specials here but just nice and flavourful pizza. I didn t find it mediocre in the least. Very good indeed! I will be back indeed!!

This pizza place is amazing! The staff is so sweet and they all do so much for their guests! The pizza is 10/10 and totally worth the price. I feel at home when eating here!
