But there are a lots of hawkers who occupied most of the paths creating problems during walking. And also there are a large number of food shops, who sometimes creat hullabaloo themselves for one customer!!

Great location as historically important. To be honest this is the first market of the New Dhaka city after 1947's seperation. You can find almost anything except the electrical and electronic goods here. Prices are cheap. And above all the market has open areas all around which is absent at Dhaka's markets.

Good things. But if don t have a thing for arguing about prices it s most probably not suitable for you

This place is a heaven for cheap products but having great quality. You can buy a lot of clothes at a low price but for personal factor you need to check the quality for yourself as if there is defect in the product or so. There is some hygine issues but i think it is pretty manageable. So maybe pay a visit and do great shopping.
