A historical place for shopping as mega city like Dhaka. It is one of the crowdy place of Dhaka. Here different types of cloths shops are popular. Not only that you can find all of your household and kitchen materials from there. People's first choice is Dhaka New Market, whenever they think for shopping or buy something needed. For Ladies, it is one kind of heaven they loved the all time. Tuesday is a off day for whole market area. On other day it opens from the 9 am and closes at around 10.30. Enjoy your shopping with your best price, and end of the day you Will be happy.

One of the most cherished heritage market in Dhaka City. I love the historical outer arcade. Surfing on the isles give you the memory of childhood from generation to generation. The main arcade was built during 1955. Popularity of this place never declined.

We all know about it basically. You will find everything you want here, and of course at cheap rates than other places. (you obviously need to have good bargain skills along with the ability to search for cheap shops. Having a bit patience is a MUST there.) Place is too jampacked. Come here with plenty of times in hand. Usually I buy baking stuffs from here. Finding good shops help me to save a decent amount of bucks every time I visit here.

The market is pretty wide so it's easy to roam around here & there. Usually it's a very crowded because not only rich but every kind of people go there for shopping.

Too much crowded and noisy. Uncouth salesmen. Shouting to people to get into their shops for almost everything specially Biryani restaurants.

There are some food shops are available here but most of them are avarage quality. It's really a good place to visit and one of the oldest and beautiful places. Love it.

The very old & exotic shopping arcade in the City of Dhaka. A lively place, full of colours and yes, lots of memories.

It's one of the traditional markets in Dhaka, though the building are very old it doesn't seen older or less strong, definitely first choice for on the go to buy classical things and stuffs. The mosque is in the middle and it's one of the most beautiful thing of this market. Absolutely love it.

Too much crowd and shopkeepers behaviour are terrible. I request all of my friends and family members, well-wishers not to visit, and have shopping over there if you are gentle, sober, and can't bargain with ruthless shopkeepers who shall even slung you as well during your purchase.

One of oldest shipping place in Dhaka city. This shopping mall is an open sky old mall. It has over hundreds of shops consisting of different categories like books & stationaries, watches & eye wear, saree, other clothing items, knitting tools, food shops & bakery, luggage & footwear, cutlery etc. Apart from that it has small vendors selling product in carts.

The open places of the mall makes it very pleasant to roam around. Though the main problem is that there are no toilets situated in the mall. The roads leading to it are very chaotic and jam packed.
