BEEN HERE MANY TIMES NEVER SEEN IT SO BUSY, LOTS OF TRAVELERS. THEY HAD A GREAT BAND OUT THERE FOR A MONDAY AT NOON, DIDNT STAY LONG AS IT WAS SOO BUSY AND PACKED. I HAVE EATEN THERE BEFORE AND FOOD WAS GOOD BAR FOOD. WE NORMALLY GRAB ICE CREAM HERE ON WAY TO OR FROM LAKE.

The drive out was very scenic however there was a lot of road construction and we sat for a long time. If you're not in a hurry it's worth the drive. The restaurant was good. Very friendly staff and the food was good and reasonably priced.

A group of us rode our bikes out to Tortilla Flat and had lunch. It is a beautiful location and ride or drive is charming and especially beautiful In spring. Restaurant decor is fun and reflects western outpost. Food is typical bar food. Service was less than friendly and some staff seemed annoyed at having customers. It s the only place for food for miles and we felt treated as such.

Dollar bills covered every square inch of the beautiful old wood, very tacky! There was a rattlesnake deteriorating on the shelf, gross. The bartenders knew nothing about the history of the place, one even admitted to having never read the plaque outside the door. The saddle bar stools were pretty cool, but after about 2 minutes, they were uncomfortable and I wanted to down my beer and leave. I wonder if that's the point (to encourage turnover at the bar).

I love Tortilla Flat as a destination, but the road to get there coming from the south is freakin' awful. It feels like going offroad, it's so bad. It makes 10 miles seem like 100, and that's even with some of the best views and scenery I've ever seen. I would love to drive that route with a smooth road surface, but right now the road is so torn up you might as well sign a check for a few thousand dollars in suspension repairs unless you are driving a Jeep or a truck. Please fix it!

Really enjoyed our lunch at Tortilla Flat.....after an amazing drive on the Apache trail decided to stop here. We both had a hamburger and fries.....the burger was huge and delicious. Fries were hot and yummy. Ice cold tea tasted great as its extremely hot! Lots of great places to pull over and take pictures on the way up and back.

Great service and really good food, I got a chili dog and couldn't even see the dog when my plate arrived. Very scenic drive through the mountains coming from Scottsdale, recommended day-trip for sure.

Had a great time. Service was great. Busier than I expected but the food was surprisingly delicious. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth the drive into the mountains (the drive was pretty spectacular as well).

For a unique Arizona experience head here. It is hard to imagine that only 6 people live here but you wouldn't know it from how crowded the town can get, especially the restaurant. It really is unique and it just screams the Old West and Arizona.

This place is interesting in a kitschy sort of way. It's a bit like Wall Drug in South Dakota, only I liked it better. It's a fun stop for tourists in a unique setting. The restaurant is pretty good and it has outdoor seating with live music, even in the middle of the day in the middle of the week when we were there. They have a gift shop, an ice cream shop, a "museum", and the restaurant, which is has walls completely covered with dollar bills on every conceivable surface.

Tortilla Flat has a restaurant, store, bar, post office & patio. The patio and restaurant are not dog friendly. Great music most afternoons from Noon until 4pm unless too hot or too cold or raining. Beer is about $4.50. Burgers close to $10. The band is excellent! Wide range of music including Elvis and Dylan. Canyon Lake marina in just 2 miles away. There are campgrounds nearby. Normally a few nice motorcycles to look at. It s a fun stop and we have been there several times.

If you want to go for a drive outside of the city, Tortilla Flat is a fun destination. Situated near Canyon Lake, I take the family down there for gelatos at the General Store. I have heard that the food is good at the saloon, I want to try that next time I go.
