I got a kitchen sink cookie and a jelly stuffed donut crossoint. Both were really good

2 years ago I would have given Torta Fina 5 stars because their baked goods were amazing and everyone who worked there performed excellent customer service. However my experiences are getting worse since then. Stale cupcakes and cake slices are a regular occurrence. Employees are hit or miss. Last night was the final straw, the perfect trifecta of bad experience. The young man who waited on us was slow (his coworker completed 2 orders in the time it took to get our 3 items packed and rung up), the red velvet slice was completely stale on 1 end, and the espresso brownie piece was less than half the size of previous brownie slices (see pic). I can't believe I paid premium prices for this.

They have a huge selection of delicious everything you could wish for!

Biscotti is terrific! There are about 10 varieties and all are good to me.

Overall the bake shop and the their presentation are all beautiful. Today I purchased Chocolate cupcake with rose design and it was pretty good. I gave 3 stars because my mini ganache the bottom cake tasted stale.
I ll still come back and try the other pastries, cakes, cookies they have. Maybe it wasn t my lucky day today.

Excellent quality! Everything is delicious. You pay a higher price for homemade products but it's work it! Employees are always friendly and knowledgeable which is impressive. Obviously well managed. Just bought Rocky Road Bar and Peach Blueberry Tart which were excellent. Tortacinno is always a nice treat.

Our amazing neighbors gifted us with a cheesecake for Christmas. It was amazing! Soft and fluffy and smooth. The first slice was fine, but today I cut another piece and, as I was chewing, there was something solid in my mouth. I took it out and it was a damn fingernail! I kept inspecting it to make sure it was, in fact a nail and not a piece of plastic. Not that a piece of plastic would ve been good but it s less nasty than a nail! But nope. It s definitely a nail. As amazing as this cheesecake was, I would give that alone 5 stars but after finding this disgusting thing, I would give it zero stars if I could.

I've bought the "Babylon Beach" cake as a gift. I never was more embarrassed when we cut this cake!

The cake's layers were extremely DRY and literally tasted like a stale bread, layers of fudge was crumbling and tasted like a sand. The description was saying that the cake is also has a caramel - caramel was NOT existed at all!
The frosting was tasting like a simple heavy cream mixed with a food color.

Tortafina is misleading and selling such an expensive trash by using customer's trust! Never again!

I can only say good things about Torte Fina. They have the best cupcakes for about $3 each including red velvet cupcakes. Delicious "lobster tails" cream in a puff pastry. Fresh fruit tarts for $5. Beautiful cakes. Huge brownies. Cannolis. Everything is so good here. Some things are pricey (the cakes) but I like to get some desserts and I can go in and come out under $10. It's also great for holidays where you want to pick up a few different desserts for different family members.
They have a gluten free brownie my friend said was heavenly!
I'll be back soon for more goodies!

I went here for my father's birthday, I didn't know this place at all and my hometown isis Lindenhurt. My mom wanted to try them bc ppl at work raved about the rainbow cake, my dad didn't know what he wanted so we devide to try it. TheyTsaid they onlyomaje the rainbowrvakecon holidays.They had hardly any cakes so I decided to try the mini cakes which looked really good. The only thing that tasted good was the brownie my daughter and dad shared but even grocery store bakeries make a good brownies. Eveeything else tasted like it was made a week ago. They don't have bread during the week which was weird, what bakery does not make bread fresh daily? I'm thinking they make everything on the weekend and don't nake the cakes fresh. The lady who served my was nice and helpful but I would not go there again. Thanks wasted twenty bucks in this place. My family has been going to Patsies in lindenhust and the Polish bakery since I was a child. Sometimes nits best to stick with what works.

I had lots of hassle with my wedding cake being not what was expected but, they did what they could to make up it in the end. They are a great bakery and cakes are delicious however my day can't be redone.

Preparing for Fathers Day I went early to get desserts for my evening supper cookies, wet cannoli shells hard jelly in LTorte cookies I - discarded everything and had to re shop before my dinner party!

They have a delicious selection of baked goods. Their biscotti is some of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend their pies and tarts as well. Actually, come to think of it I have never gotten something from the bakery I didn't like. Everything is freshly baked and delicious!

Definitely top Bakery on Long Island. Been buying cakes and cookies for all special occasions throughout the years. Always delicious! Obviously the Phoenix review had bad taste buds that day!

They have a wide range of bakery goods and have exceptional cakes, cookies breads etc. I've been using them for years around end of Jan & Feb for our bdays we love the cheesecake. Absolutely a one of a kind with a soft cream inside

Picked up delicious pies on Thanksgiving ever, got the savory sausage pie and it was heavy with cheese but so delicious. Prices aren't cheap but worth it

This is definitely the best bakery on Long Island! I have been to my share of bakeries both in LI and in NYC. I m so impressed by this bakery. The philly fluff pound cake is to die for and my teenage son love the confetti birthday cake. Hot chocolate with the biscotti in it is amazing and the banana pudding is also good. Five star well deserved . The associate was also very nice and helpful on 3/22/20 afternoon. Thanks!

3 stars, don't get me wrong, I love Tora Fina, but the past 2 visit and purchase, I've been disappointed. Long time customer. Pick up there double chocolate moose cake to bring to a party. It wasn't double chocolate and moose was more frosting then moose. Disappointed. Wasn't as fresh either. Can tell it was the day before cake.

we were given a gift of cookies. the thought was wonderful but the cookies were not. they were dry an tasted terrible. Maybe they where not fresh or a bad batch.

would like to know if you make a lemon meringue pie? is the t opping of egg..whites creamy or stiff? need to order for Sunday morning

This morning torta fina saved me from my sh*tty coffee misfortune with a lovely cappuccino. I ordered a linzer tart to go and ate it on my lunch break, the tart was a piece of heaven. This bakery could be big bucks depending on your order but it's worth every penny!

They did an AMAZING job with our beach theme wedding cake. Our photographer said he has seen a lot of wedding cakes and this was the most incredible one he had seen. It was delicious and the cake was so big we have it left over to enjoy again! Don t go anywhere else for baked goods or wedding cakes. You won t be disappointed.

Not a bakery at all, atleast not a bakery as I know them with freshly baked goods daily.
Over priced , and over rated dont waste your time..!! All the items we purchased tasted like they sat in a freezer or old refrigerator, very dry. 3 visits to this location to try different items and each was worse than the last. On the bright side the young woman who assisted us made me a very good Latte and had a great attitude..!

I was extremely excited to try this place, they are located in a nice location of Babylon and their ambiance is very warm and welcoming. I ordered some very unique items expecting to be overwhelmed by their creativity, but I only found that the flavors were bland!! I couldn't believe it, especially since I bought about 4 different types of desserts, and all of them were equally bland. Not something I often say about sweets, I want to go back again just to see if I was unlucky, but the lack of flavors still just baffles me.
