This place looks nice from the outside but on the first night here the hotel lost power and Internet and tv service. There were alarms going off in the hallways till 1 am. The hotel staff was very rude, especially the manager. They weren't able to provide an ETA for when service would come back on which effected my ability to work. Internet service was also spotty and slow, not good for business travelers. Please beware of this place.
With many entrance from different sides and levels, The Michelangelo hotel are the mostly interesting architecture's in the middle of Sandton ,very secured and with the tests of singularity.
Ate @ Bukhara restaurant. Decent food. Hope the waiters were more humble & had smile on their face!
Very upmarket venue. I had a business meeting in the restaurant. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. They are always ready to assist.

Lovely apartment with good bed, great shower, kitchen, lounge, big TV. Can't complain. Rooms turned over twice a day.

Carry small amounts of cash on you for tips. The staff never asks for it, but they go out of their way to help you and earn it.

Parking is a nightmare. Ended up parking in sandton city. Small, pricey shop area, but very fancy. Take a look.

This is a very high end hotel and I was pleasantly surprised by how big and complete the room was. It was equipped with everything needed for a nice cozy stay; fully equipped kitchen with utensils and plates, microwave, oven, washing machine and refrigerator. The bathroom has separate shower, bath tub and toilet areas. The living room is a wide open space with a balcony and large TV. It is even suitable to host business meetings. Room service comes to provide water and chocolate everyday at 19:00. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful self catering apartment, easy access to sandton city and Mandela square... The staff at reception and concierge can be more friendly and need to be of a higher caliber/standard to suite the entire image
Great location, excellent furniture, impressive toilets, regular service, untrained staff. I enjoyed the room but not the service. The phone wasn't working and they didn't fix it when I complained. The kitchen is missile l missing many items and no one cares. The tv didn't work and no proper help. The restaurant is not really a restaurant. It's a hybrid mix of a bar and a cafee. It should be a 5 star facility and they charge a lot. If like to go back again. I just hope they'll upgrade their services part.

Great accommodation, lovely views, easy access to variety of shops, close to airport link (train).
Staff are quite friendly and the restaurants are pretty good. A number of restaurants on Nelson Mandela Square just round the corner if you want more variety.
