Absolutely stunning theatre that has been home to many many big names in broadway.
The theatre has 2 entrances, one on Victoria street and the other on Yonge.
We saw Wicked here which was a wonderful show!
As money permits we will defiantly be going back to enjoy more musical theatre!

I drove in from out of town with my daughter to see a matinee performance of Annie. My daughter was freaked out by a pile of used syringes and rubber bands on the sidewalk near the entrance as well as numerous panhandlers in the area. Once inside, the theatre was beautiful. It did however take 15 minutes to get through the bathroom lineup... owners might consider making one of the men's washrooms into unisex to alleviate this problem (to further aggravate this issue, the patrons of this particular show were largely women). I have seen a number of shows at this theatre in the past and felt that this one was not one of the better ones. I was irritated by the "Annie's" pronunciation of "tomorrow" ... not sure what was going on there but the song was ruined by "tomovfo". I will return to the theatre again but maybe stick to the evening performances.

This is the best theatre in the downtown core. The seats are comfy and wide and they blow away the King st theatres with those cramped seats. I'm 5'11 215lbs and had zero issues in the mirvish seat with arm space. Oh and I sat in the rear mezzanine row P. Perfect view! Don't worry about seating in the rear mezzanine, you will have a great view. Great slope. Not too steep.. just right.

CHANDELIER and GONDOLA Surprise.
My friends and I went to Toronto a number of
years back. We, I should say I,went to Canada
for the beer. It wasn't till a little latter on that
I found out that I was booked for an evening
with The Phantom. Of course there was a little
bit of the rolling of my eyes when I found out,
but that all changed when I entered into The
Pantages Theater . The grandeur and opulence
was breathtaking. The sound of the show itself
was spectacular . I'll be going to Toronto again,
for I really would love to visit Toronto's Guerlain
boutique, and the Pantages will certainly be on the
top of my list as a place to go and visit.

The show I saw was Wicked. It was amazing. The venue, not so much. There is a distinct lack of women's washrooms. The intermission was short enough a lot of the women who needed the washroom were unable to use it. Those of us at the end of the line who had to wait missed the door and had to wait at the back of the theater for the beginning of act 2. This theater needs more washrooms or a better organized intermission.

Went to see Wicked. Which was amazing. Navigating downtown is never easy but parking is close and the theatre offers lots of snacks and drinks. Seats were a tad expensive for the back half of the theatre.

Went here to see Anastasia and the play itself was incredible. They were able to take the original story and transform it to still retain the backbone of Anastasia but introduce subplots and different elements that told a new version. I would come back and watch it again and again if I could. The theatre is beautiful, and the check in process and seating process were easy. The seats we got weren't all the way at the front and I was still able to view everything. Very happy with the experience overall.

Absolutely beautiful theatre. A little more quaint than the Princess of Wales but the theatre is beautiful, the seats are comfortable, the floor is angled well to allow each row a good line of sight to the stage, and the acoustics are well-balanced.

The only downside is that trying to get out after the show is a tad bit difficult since there are some twists and turns to get to the exit, followed by some stairs which tends to bottleneck the crowd.

However, it gets some pretty good shows, like Wicked and Waitress, which more than make up for it!

I love going to live shows but as a short person I always seem to have a problem with not being able to see due to the people sitting in front of me. However, this theatre always brings in fun and current entertainment.

I am personally not much of a theatre buff. I recently went to see The Book of Mormon here with a special lady friend of mine and it was a great time. The first thing that hit me was the architecture of this place. It's really a lot to take in so if you can arrive with time to slowly look around (and don't forget to look way up and check out those ceilings) it won't disappoint. It's majestic in fact. The staff are super attentive and the service we received was top shelf which went a long way to making the night special. The seating, view of the stage, sound, literally everything is well thought out and will likely make your evening enjoyable no matter where you are in this theatre. Maybe I was just so enamored by the beauty of the building itself but so what; it's part of the experience.

This Theatre is always a grand time. Staff are always friendly and helpful, restrooms are fairly easy to find, and it's kept very clean. Its a bit on the small side compared to some of the other theatres in the city, however it's amenities are very well suited to its capacity.

Beautiful theater but upper balcony gets unbearably hot during the show. Don't plan to go to the washroom AND get a drink during intermission because the lines are obscenely long. Sound system is decent. Staff is very friendly. I didn't see any wheelchair accessibility features.

What is not to love. CAA members get free coat check and coffee, the seats are wide and there is leg room, even in the cheaper seats. Every seat has a great view. Also the theater itself is so beautiful.

Love the look of the theater and attendants are great! Seating could use some work. I was having trouble seeing over the person in front of me. But the performance of Wicked was wonderful!
