Beautiful theatre and the snacks for the most part...
Beautiful theatre and the snacks for the most part were not too expensive. Needs more ladies bathrooms.

It's sort of hard to rate the theatre without rating the show. I'll give it a go, but also note that I saw Wicked here and really loved it, if you're considering this play in particular. The theatre was very clean and the staff was very helpful when I had to come back and look for my phone after the show.
Seats were comfortable though after a while of sitting it does start to wear on you. There is not a really steep incline or anything so heads are likely to block a part of your view. Also watch out for chairs at the end of some aisles, I'm not sure exactly what they're for but they're raised up a bit causing some strips.
Love this theater last night we went to see Anastasia the performance was amazing the costumes were incredible we will definitely come back !
We went and saw the Bat out of Hell performance and it was fantastic. The theatre is beautiful and the staff was great. All the seats from what I could see would have been a great choice. Liquor prices were reasonable as well as the coat check. Nothing bad to say about our evening.
The Book of Mormon includes very offensive content.
My fave theatre in Toronto. Spacious seating were your not seating on top of each other haha. Great venue. Love the architecture in there.
Barely handicap accessible. Tickets are expensive and staff was not the most helpful. Meh.
Beautiful theatre with a marvelous performance on stage!
Beautiful theater...careful of sightlines at extreme left or right... boxes would not have significantly obstructed views .
Comfy seats with a great view of the stage, even from the very back
Beautiful theatre to watch Wicked in. It was an amazing show, and I loved it. Such a big theatre and despite being so far away from the stage, I was still able to see everything perfectly.
We went to see Wicked, one of the best shows that we have seen! You really need to go see it.
WHAT AN EXPERIANCE,TAKE THE TIME TO TREAT YOUR SELF!
I absolutely love this theatre . Ealing through the main entrance makes me feel like I'm walking through history . Absolutely beautiful!! The staff are incredibly kind and the place is clean. Always get excited when I see a play here
Beautiful theatre. No elevator. Staff was very accommodating and helpful.
Terrible and not user friendly online platform for booking of tickets. I was shocked at how they use such poor technology and make ticket booking so inconvenient. I have never been so frustrated with booking a ticket (in person or online).
The theatre is very beautiful and very clean. The detail of the ceiling is stunning!
Beautiful theatre. Wish the Mezzanine seats were a little higher because it is definitely harder to see the stage
The staff at Mirvish Theatre provide exceptional service for ticket purchases. They offer highly reasonable ticket prices. They go above and beyond any other service, especially in regards to support for fake ticket purchases and reseller scams. Please make sure you purchase tickets from their website directly. The Mirvish Theatre truly wants to help people effected by online ticket scams.
This place is magic!
Giving it a 4 because there are not enough bathrooms and the lines during intermission are huge. Missed a couple minutes of the show because of it.
Wonderful space. I have some fond memories of this theatre.
Watched Wicked here in July 2018. It was a beautiful show! The venue was well organized, and very picturesque. Makes for a perfect night a the theatre.
theatre seems very disorganized.mobs of people pushing and shoving. no orderly lines, few visible staff. at intermission total chaos - concession stands moved very slowly and half the people still waiting for refreshments while they ordered everyone back to their seats.
We went down during the big snowstorm. We decided to take the subway and arrived on time. It was only a three-minute walk to the theater. The theater look lovely and very well organized. We enjoyed the show immensely!
Beautiful theater. Saw book of mormon which was amazing. Will definitely go back.
Saw Bat out of Hell. It was AMAZING. Seats are very comfortable and cozy, but if a tall person sits in front of you, you won't be able to see
This theater has one of the largest stages and all of the city but very uncomfortable seats, terrible washroom situation, and terrible people Flow for intermissions and before and after the show. But a lot of the biggest shows come to the theater so just buckle down and go. The show must go on!
Excellent presentation of Gaslight! It's an older theatre that's been very well maintained but can be a little cool during winter.
Saw wicked at this location. Very interesting and good time for my family. Would recommend.
Still has a lot of the beautiful features of the old Pantages theatre era, relatively comfortable seating if a bit snug on the leg room. Lots of big blockbuster musicals from Mirvish here with a location in the busy heart of the city.
Saw the show Bodyguard. Not disappointed whatsoever! Spent a very enjoyable evening with my daughter!!
We saw Wicked, overall a good experience, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Something has to be done about the small washrooms.
Visibility of certain parts of the stage was poor from up in the balcony seating. This may be because the particular show (Bat out of Hell) had a stage that extended further than is typical.
This theatre is amazing!! It's lavish, old-time feel of days gone by makes any production you may see there, that much more magical! I have sat in every imaginable location within the theatre, and there are very few BAD seats!!
Excellent experience seeing The Play That go Wrong last night. play was wonderfully done and the theater was gorgeous. Was surprised how quickly we got our coats from the coat check, barely any wait at all. Theatre was clean and well maintained. Not a bad seat in the house, good sightlines all around.
Great place to see an awesome performance! I highly recommend it!
Love this place. Any seat is a good seat. They failed miserably at the order ahead service because they lost ours and then made US fix the problem so their customer service isn't the greatest but we survived.
Saw bodyguard, great experience, went better than expected!
I'm not a typical theatre-goer but wow this is a beautiful theatre. Great sound too but insanely priced drinks
Great theatre. Beautifully restored. Great sight lines.
Depending on where you sit, your view can be obstructed by the person in front of you.
Absolutely love this theatre this would be my 2nd time seeing Jersey Boys here what an amazing show !!!
The theater is beautiful and old. Acoustics wise, we were row H on the main level (in the middle of the main level essentially) and sound was great. Seats were nicely inclined and slightly staggered so us shorties can still see relatively well. However the entrance into the theater where drinks and snacks are sold was very small for the number of people the theater holds. It was like being a sardine during intermission. Thankfully you could preorder your drinks for intermission so all you had to do was make it through the throngs of people to get the drinks. They definitely could use more ladies bathrooms as well (though I understand the infrastructural difficulty with this). The line ups went from the bathroom to the opposite end of the hall. But overall the experience was great. Would return.
There really isn't a bad seat in the place... The sound is great and the seats are actually quite comfortable. Only down side: The main lobby area is poorly designed for intermission, so try to get to the washrooms or concession quickly. Be prepared to make your way through a sea of people to get back to your seat. Overall, it's a beautiful venue.
It would have been good if there were public tours.
Great theater. Seating is good and comfortable. Staff are very organized and helpful. Good sound system. Very clean.
Beautiful and historic! When you're here, you feel like you've been transported to a different era! Bathrooms are clean and plentiful and seating is comfy and spacious - all seats have a good view!
I understand the "authentic" heritage vibe they're going for, but they really need to update their seating layout. The seats are incredibly crammed to the point you cannot get up otherwise you'd be blocking the view of at least 4 rows.. Didn't get to enjoy Matilda as my fiancee got a major migraine and the staff wouldn't accommodate us accordingly.
Historical venue - two theatres in one. A must see.
Watched Annie, and loved it! Ed Mirvish Theatre only brings in great playa! A few months ago I also watched the play "Beautiful" and that was amazing aswell. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Amazing venue, many great shows seen here. Going back again next month for Grease!
We went to Newsboy and it was awesome. The seats are very good, we have an orchestra in the back row. I was a little worried that the vision would not be very good, and the results were very good. We saw and heard everything, and it was very good. Need to be careful, pay more attention to the address. When you enter the Ed Marvis Theatre, there will be other theatres (Prince of Wales Theatre), which is 25 minutes away from the destination! We missed the first few minutes of the show because we made a mistake, but we sat in the back and they quickly let us sit.
Honest Ed's sign will be installed on the facade on Victoria Street.
Excellent night out and 5 star performance of Batt outta Hell
Great theatre, beautiful decor. Seats are a bit tight but overall great historic venue.
Very fancy looking. The staff was very professional and kind and for some reason the place smelled like cherry blossoms.
Nice theatre and the seats are comfortable with adequate leg room. The handicap washroom is awkwardly placed, with the line for the women's washroom making it difficult to get to
Beautiful older theatre. Beware of line ups for women's washrooms.
