My first Car in my name! I had an amazing experience working with Krish, Jenny & Alan. As a young female I thought the dealership would try to take advantage of me but, That WAS NOT the case. I was able to get a 2013 Honda Civic Touring. The staff was so nice and willing to help. They helped when i didn't understand something, They helped me get approved for financing and also helped me get a great deal with insurance. I would totally recommend Toronto Honda. Thank you everyone for your help!

Bought a 2011 Honda accord from Toronto Honda about 2 months ago.
Sales Associate - Krishesh and Manager - Val

I was very disappointed with their service because of the following:

1. They are not organized at all. It took them more than 2 hours to get the car ready and out the door for me.
2. The moment you buy a car from them, they don't care about you and will run after new customers - making you wait.
3. Val is an extremely rude and unhelpful person.
4. They gave me the car certified but the moment I took it out of the showroom, the brakes were make very loud noise. I had to bring it in the following weekend. THE PROBLEM WAS NOT REPAIRED.
- the issue was that they used the lowest quality brakes pads on the car, as long as the car passed safety.

A quick note to Val and Krish - Instead of filling up the gas tank, you could have spent that money on better brake pads. High quality pads ONLY cost $60.

Do not recommend this branch.

Toronto Honds on Danforth is my main go to for cars. Receptionists always greet you with a smile and are quick to assist.
My amazing sales hero was Stacy and my finance hero was Reza. They are the dynamic duo who get things done fast and within budget. I owe these guys alot and truly blessed that I was paired up with people who care about the person not the sale.

I bought my car from this dealership and I recentl...

I bought my car from this dealership and I recently received a letter from them (Dated August 20) to come in for Premium Transmission Service. I even received a coupon for $20 off. The letter even stated, "Free Lifetime Protection Plan if you service your vehicle before it's at 120,000 km." Since my car was at 106k, i thought, "Hey! This would be a good idea!" and so I scheduled an appointment to go in since the coupon expired on August 31. I should also mention that this coupon had the VIN # of my car on it.

So I take my car there for service and I check it in, the service person explains the lifetime protection plan to me (as long as you go in every 50,000 km for premium transmission service you get a lifetime protection plan). He tells me he'll even provide me with a certificate that gives me the lifetime protection plan.

While I'm at home I get a phone call from him telling me that my car is in fact NOT COVERED by their lifetime protection plan because the transmission is a CVT transmission. Their plans only cover regular transmissions. Basically, I got duped into going to Toronto Honda to do a service with them.

Did I mention that earlier that day I was at Downtown Honda for a FREE OIL CHANGE?! Yes, absolutely free. It was their customer appreciation month. I could have easily have gotten the service done there but I went to Toronto Honda because I thought I would be getting a lifetime protection plan.

I wasted my whole evening travelling back and forth and the only thing the service person would give me as an apology was a $20 discount off the service price. (and only after I demanded that something be done to compensate me for my time)

I will never take my car here for service again! They had my VIN #, they should have known what kind of transmission I had before sending me the coupon with my VIN # on it. I even bought my car there (how could they not know?!) I don't like to have my time wasted. I'll be servicing my car at Downtown Honda from now on.

Update: September 2, 2015: I contacted Toronto Honda at their request and talked to one of their service personnel who issued an apology and thanked me for calling. Nothing else. I will never go back there.

We did some research for a new family vehicle and decided to go with Odyssey.
I got several referrals of Honda dealerships/salespersons from our friends. The price from Toronto Honda was the best.
We started communication with Emily Lee at Toronto Honda through email then telephone. She always responded to me promptly. When we met her in person, we found that she had understood our requirement accurately. Her knowledge of the vehicle, professionalism and caring of customers made the entire transaction a great experience.
On the day we picked up our van, Emily spent a significant amount of time went thoroughly over the features again. She encouraged us to call her for questions later on; she said she would take great care of customers even though the transaction is completed.
Thank you Toronto Honda and Emily for the great services!

I had a great experience buying a great used Honda at Toronto Honda. The car was wonderfully well presented, and well priced with a detailed history, and Krishesh Malkani was extremely helpful answering all of my questions and concerns.
Once I decided to buy the car, Alan Mathews in the financing department did a phenomenal job finding me a great rate even though I am self employed. Thank you to the whole team at Toronto Honda for creating a positive car buying experience!

Over the past two decades, my mother and I have purchased three cars from Toronto Honda (all Honda Civics) and we've been really happy with all of them. The prices are very competitive and the selection is the best in the city. The sales staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and patient, and our most recent purchase from Ben Li is no exception. He took the time to inform us of all the variations in pricing and details between the different models of cars and so that in the end we felt we were able to confidently make the best decision. Even though we live in the west end of the city, we always make a point of returning to this dealer for our purchases and we're very happy with the quality of the service we receive every time.

Emily Lee is an excellent person to deal with at this dealership. She is extremely knowledgeable, and knows every single feature of the cars she is selling. Also, as an assistant manager, Emily has the ability to negotiate without the annoying practice of having to go back and forth to the manager's office. Emily is an excellent and caring salesperson.

Thanks to Leo Zhang at Toronto Honda for helping my wife and I purchase a new car. Leo made the whole car buying experience simple and straightforward. I also appreciated Leo s transparency when asking him direct questions about pricing. The vehicle we purchased took about 3 and a half weeks to arrive at the dealership from when we signed a purchase agreement, but given the pandemic and situation at the border, it was an overall reasonable delay from Honda. I m looking forward to working with this dealership and hopefully Leo in the years to come.

017 crv service notification came on 15% oil life ...

017 crv service notification came on 15% oil life went in for an oil change. Since I Was there decide to do tire rotation and have them look at the breaks. Was sent an e-mail imminent service break fluid flush $138.88. Rear break service $88.00. Front brake service $88.00. Please press button to authorize service. I understood the break fluid flush ( to wich service on a two year old car is not needed, never mind I've never had one done on any year car I've had in life) but what did they mean by rear and front break service? So i instantaneously called thinking it needed brake pads. I could not reach my service advisor ( after calling three consecutive times in a row) so I left it at that. Service advisor called me to tell me the car was ready, so I inquired to what the rear and front break service (that was supposedly imminent! ) meant. And his reply was " they clean out the brake dust" the audacity on these thieves ( only one God only now's how many people would give these people permission to service their front and rear brakes). $88+88+ tax 176+tax to blow with their mouth the break dust off your front and rear breaks is total fraud! Feel sorry for the individuals that would have this imminent service done to their cars! Total rip off! It's been a week that I had this oil service done I've received four e-mails for this imminent service to be done. Yet after the third e-mail I unsubscribed cause it seemed they where harassing me! But yet today i received another one, so it seems the unsubscribed method did not work. How could you rip off your customers like this.. Greed is a horrible thing in life, more so in this 21st century than any other time in life. Sad to see. By the way I'm a car dealer and mechanic. Oil change has environmental fees, the bill you get does not stipulate how much, I wonder why? Another rip off possibly? Edited 16 08 19 reply to mister owner. Mr.Owner your not only a thief but you are a liar as well! The service you describe is a money grab period. Rust where? Deglaze the pads! hillarious. Grease the pins the most you can do three minute job a dab of grease. Pay ten dollars more than your 88.00 brake service and get brand new pads installed and slidersand pins greased. And as to tools used wrench, pry bar, your brakes would be in some pretty bad condition and rusted to the point that the have seized to which you would have to do a lot more than any type of lube. The principle of the point: 1) Mr owner your dealership sent me an email wanting me to authorize brake service! Why would the service advisor not call me up directly, tell me about brake service and what it may consist of,and me saying ya or nay to it. 2) Imminent! My car is a two year old car what is so "imminent" of a brake service. No rust, no need to grease my pins, no need to rotor my discs cause there is no rust on them. Your mechanic did not specify the percentage I had left on my front and rear pads? And if I wanted to I could have changed the pads and had everything cleaned, greased and new! Imminent! That's a scare tactic you use to your costumers. 3) So the people reading this comment section could know. Taking the pins off and greasing them because that is all you can do as a cautionary safety so the pin don't seize, is a five minute job and yet you ream your costumers by charging them $176.00+tax for front and rear brake service. Now that is called a reaming without lube! Mr owner you are brilliant and that is the reason you are rich. Continue on your lies for the bible even talks about you " nor a liar nor a theif shall inherit God's kingdom" it seems you are both! Mr owner could you please do a spell check for me, and emphasize it in brackets, I would appreciate it. Yours Truly.

Out of many visits to dealerships, Honda dealership on the Danforth provided me with the most money for my trade in vehicle and were completely honest from the beginning. They were the only dealership that didn't low ball me. I dealt with Wes who was professional and spent alot of time with me in finding the correct vehicle that happened to be within my budget. Wes was professional and had exceeded my expectations when it came to integrity. Would recommend this dealership and Wes by far

Very poor customer service. My car was squealing and I told them I though it was the door. Without even looking at the problem or turning on the engine Tonia the assistant manager told me I would have to empty my car.
I told her I thought it was just a problem with my sliding door and I could not drive with the non stop noise. She told me I had the following options, I could leave, empty the car myself or the could charge me to do it and would put all my things on the floor of the garage. I have never had a garage in my life tell me to empty a car before even looking at the problem. I explained that I was driving from Niagara falls to Kingston and could not go to my garage, I had been waiting since 6 am for them to open could they please just take a look. She was not empathetic . I finally moved the things in my car
and they said they could take up to half day to even look at the problem.
After much begging, pleading and yes (crying ) she finally took a look and said to me why don't you just turn off the switch to the sliding door (WHAT!!!). Thats all it took after all the rudeness and agony from her . Left at 8:45 am.
(Did I mention that my arm was in an arm brace and she still insisted that I move my stuff by MYSELF)

I and my family was happy to purchase our CRV though Toronto Honda. Service was excellent. Especially the sales advisor Moto was very professional and friendly. Gave us good advise to decide the vehicle that meets our requirement. They provided a rental vehicle temporarily due to a delay in delivering the vehicle from the assembly plant. On the day of delivering the vehicle we had a pleasant surprise from Moto, which helped us to have a good time with our kids during the March break. I strongly recommend to those who are looking to buy or lease a Honda vehicle to drop by and have a chat with Moto before finalize any other offer. I guarantee that Toronto Honda wont make their customers disappointed.

Full transparency, this location allows for zero negotiations. While I appreciate honesty, as a result some of the staff lack foundations for true customer service. I.e., they are very slow, ill-informed on inventory- (aka we had to convince them they had a car on the lot by showing it to them outside that they were adamant they did not have) and not customer-centric (Them: "isn't the car beautiful and clean?" Us: It was smelly and covered in stains and pet hair....").

I had such a great experience at Toronto Honda! I woke up this morning to find I had a flat tire. With my Honda road assistance the car was towed to the Toronto Honda location. Rodney, my service advisor, told me I would need a new tire. When I informed him that the tires were my winters he offered to have someone come and pick up my summer tires and charged me for a summer tire install giving me time to purchase a new winter tire at my own pace.
It was such great service! This is my first Honda but I can't imagine buying anything else now!

i purchased a used 2010 honda accord in november 2013 from david yuan. david is excellent not only because of his patience and great knowledge about cars, but also his continuous help of answering my inquiries after selling me the car which i greatly appreciate it. I have referred two of my friends to toronto honda to see david when they wanna buy their cars. i will continue recommend david to my friends and family when they need to get cars. thanks again for the excellent service david!

i rate 4/5 of my experience at toronto honda because there are a few things that i wish i do not need to encounter:
1. my key did not work after 1 week and the oil change alarm was not corrected (mechanics either forgot to change the oil or they forgot to reset the oil change alarm)

2. when i bought the car, it came with 4 all season tires; i asked the dealer to change to snow tire for me when i picked up the car. But when i changed back from snow tire to all season tire at a small body shop recently, they told me that the all season tires are not marked properly so my tire pressure light will be on at all time. it will cost me over $50 to reset the alarm...

I have to say that if the mechanics can be more attention to details to avoid all these little things, my overall experience will be excellent.

I had the best experience buying a new car at Toronto Honda. This is my first new Honda I have bought. (I have bought other new cars) Everyone was so great to deal with. Matthew Wang was amazing! He even came in on his day off to take me through my new car and to introduce me to everyone at the dealership. Financing was so easy. The gentleman whom I dealt with was fantastic. His name escapes me, but please pass on my thanks for making every thing so wonderful. I truly appreciate the great customer service you have provided me with. For the first time in my life I will be happy to bring my car in to get serviced at a dealership. I love my new car so much! I work in a service industry where I speak to people every day. I have already told many people about my great treatment and have told them to see you.
Thanks again.

Shopping for a car has always been a stressful ordeal for me, but this time it was surprisingly different, thanks mostly to Steven Cummins of Toronto Honda. I went there thinking I would surely have to visit other dealers afterwards, but I didn't have to after all. No "hard sell" tactics from Steven, who didn't rush me at all. Seriously slow, laid back service (also really overpriced and overrated). It took more than one hour inside of the dealership from the the moment I entered to drop of my car for a service by appointment to the moment when I got an Uber ride back from them.

Update: I also ended up paying $373 for replacing the battery on my 3-year-old Honda C-RV which was also all covered by Honda Plus extended service warranty (could ve been $140 if I bought the battery from Canadian Tire).

At the dealership, the Honda service guy said that I should change the battery every 2-3 years anyway. I told him that I didn t have to change the battery in 10 years on my 12 year old Volvo, on which he answered: I should not confuse Swedish reliability with Japanese car manufacturing ingenuity .

They charged me $155 for MS CHECK AND REPORT ON NO START AND REPLACE BATTERY - 1 hour + $175 for the battery + tax - total of $373.

I agreed to install the replacement original Honda OEM battery without much thinking, but basically what that Honda guy said: Honda batteries are garbage, and they are aware of it (because they without second thought advise their clients to change the batteries every two years).

So, before you decided to go and change your car battery at Honda, please check on the internet and see how long all the other major brand car batteries last on average... I was surprised that on average they last 2-3 times longer than the Honda battery I had in my car.

You might think that the $2500 Honda Plus extended warranty I mentioned before was useless to me. Well, no. I already had to take this same car 3-4 times for service since I purchased it brand new from a Honda dealer in October of 2016. This car had alignment issues and sensors kept failing, so the dashboard often looked like the Christmas lights. I also had to call CAA to jump start the car after turning the engine off for only 20 minutes.

So, how is my experience with Honda and their dealers? It is very negative. Honestly, I didn t have that many issues with my very old Volvo as I have with this brand new Honda in only the past 3 years. Too bad, there are no negative stars in reviews to reflect my experience with them.
