I m a new member as part of an auto loan through the dealer. Had an issue getting registered online. Shawn helped me out and was very friendly and personable. Great customer service.
I've always received good service and great rates from Topline. I've been a customer for 22 years.
This is my second time at this branch everyone was very nice. I felt like my need was important and everything got taken care of in a reasonable amount of time
Long time customer that now will not do any more business with TopLine. Go someplace else. Poor service and very money grubbing. This credit union used to be for the members but now it seems to be only for the management instead. Long waits for tellers, taking money for inactivity on accounts, poor customer service.
Soon after Topline took over Como, I started looking for a new credit union. They charged fees I've never been charged with a credit union (I had $5000 in my checking and was short $2.00 in my savings when I did a funds transfer to my other credit union. I was charged a money transfer fee even though the fee was not listed in their policies). Since then, they have continued to have multiple errors and inconveniences with their website services that have caused problems with my clients. I'm leaving!
This is the worst company I've ever had services with. They "never" received mailed check payments, charge extra when paying over the phone, they up loan payments without notice, and the employees are the most rude and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with.
Very rude service. Was unwilling to help with my issue. Will not be going back to this branch.
I've banked here for a while. Fiance tried to open new account and they were extremely rude to us and treated us like children. Crazy they are rated for good customer service with how juvenile their management behaves.
I use Topline as my Car Payment and I do not like anybody that works here. Nobody at Topline seems to care and have negative attitudes, it's always one thing or another with them. I highly recommend finding a new alternative to your situation if you are currently with them and can avoid them in the future. Please take this advice!
Nice, nice, nice people! Unfailingly helpful and friendly and personable, genuinely so (not like some of the bigger banks), and they truly make you feel like they appreciate your business. They make eye contact, and it's a good feeling when you are remembered from visit to visit. No mistakes ever, in the six years I've been with them, records and statements are clear and easy to get, website is helpful and user-friendly. I also appreciate the helpful seminars they offer from time to time.
Refinanced with Taylor. Best rates and service. I had a short timeline and they look care of me without any issues. Wish I would have shopped Topline first.
I became a member in 1979, shortly after beginning work at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company; of course, the credit union name back then wasn't TopLine, but rather Minneapolis Telco Credit Union, as the CU started as a service for the employees of Ma Bell.
They've been very helpful over the years, and the personalized service that they provide is way above average. I want to thank them for being there to help me with my financial needs over the past 36 years!
I wrote them a check for several thousand dollars with written instructions (in ALL CAPS on the stub and in the memo line) to apply the check towards our mortgage principal only. Days later, the check had cleared but the mortgage balance hadn't changed. Turns out, they used that check to open a savings account in my name and deposited the money there instead. (Several thousand of our dollars just hanging out in the wrong account...no big deal, amirite?) Once I pointed out their mistake, they corrected it and apologized. Luckily, this misdirection of funds didn't occur during the actual home purchase or we might have lost our earnest money. Terrifying.
We've also had other recurring problems with them, mostly related to their lack of proactive communication. For example, they've switched our autodraft date without warning. Online portal access, too. (One day you can log into your account, the next day it's a whole new system and you don't have access to it.) Those are comparatively minor frustrations, but only serve to undermine confidence in Topline FCU further.
I strongly recommend that people take their business elsewhere (as we will be soon).
I have used this shared branch of Top line once before and after this visit I had to say I was impressed.
I came back again today and noticed when I pulled up the staff clearly saves all the good parking spots for the customers. Classy move.
Cammi at the counter was very nice to deal with and I was treated just like I am at my regular FCU across town. Nice work.
Things happen to my accounts that shouldn't because of the way I have it set up. Other than that I have no problems with top line

Just went to the Maple Grove location and had to wait in a long line. One person was working the window AND drive through. Another woman was printing debit cards and refused to help. Unacceptable customer service. The woman working the window was delightful though.
This place is most certainly in kahootz with North Country Ford because when I received my insanely high auto rate verbally from finance dept it was almost 10pm. Not to mention I paid that loan off immediately and never received a check from either place with my GAP insurance refund. Took me close to 6 months to finally get my money. I honestly wouldn't have known that was even a thing until us bank sent me a letter stating to ask them for the refund if it hadn't yet been received. So thanks to US Bank for letting me know I'd $1000 waiting for me.
Closing the savings account with $4 in it was also a headache that could only be done in person. The freedom of choice. I'm a huge fan
The worst of the worst. I don t recommend them. I felt the discrimination. I was denied account and line of credit. I have 785 credit score 8 years in my job. Be aware this company does not value customers. Don t believe the hype
Got a good deal on my car loan, so I figured I would get home and auto insurance through them. Jeff was terrible at returning any calls. Going through a difference company now.
I've been a member for 20 years. I've had nothing but very positive experiences through the many years. Compared to big banks the service and policies are phenomenal. Over the years I've had multiple auto loans, and several business and personal accounts with Topline. I have always been able to get a human on the phone within seconds when I need something, and they have always taken care of me in a timely and professional manner.
The technology upgrade sure is working great. Went in to do some transfers.
The printers did not work. On top of that I was not informed. That all accounts go by numbers now. So my rent money automatically went into my main checking account. The first time this happened I was told I didn't get paid from a place. I had to go back and make them look.
On top of that cashier checks had no fees. Now I am told it is $3.00 for each one because of the upgrade. I didn't ask for the upgrade!
I would give them a 0 if I could. They have one of the worst websites in all of banking. I have a new auto loan through them and they don't offer any online payments. I was told I would have to bring in a check. I asked if I could use a check card and was told they would have to do a cash advance on it and it would come with additional charges. WHAT YEAR IS IT? Do you not want people to pay their auto loans? I guess they force you to use them for all of your banking needs if you plan to pay for your auto loan. I would have paid a higher interest rate to go with a different company had I known they don't offer online payments. It's 2018. The last 2 checks I wrote out were to buy houses.
I have banked here for over 11 years the level of customer service in the Brooklyn Park location has just become horrible over the last 6-8 months. Yesterday is a prime example when a female employee was extremely rude and when I said well, that was rude, she said yes it was and when I asked for a manager she told me she was the manager... I now see why the turnover in that location is through the roof! 11 years and I am ready to leave once the new credit union by HyVee opens! I asked a question and she told me "You just don't know how banking works".... Seriously!
This is our family bank for 7yrs now. We finance everything here, we get loans here. Their loan rates are always Low. No bank can beat this FCU. It is the best in Twin cities in MN.
Utilized Topline for an auto loan. After paying off loan balance I had a $15.82 balance in a savings account associated with the auto loan. Called Topline to have account closed. Advised they needed notice in writing. Sent email notice. Advised they needed an actual signature. Topline's account closing process is designed to retain accounts not close them. I simply wanted a check cut for $15.82. I will not use Topline again due to the difficulty I experienced in closing an account with a $15.82 balance.
